There’s actually another place you can find umbreon and it's much more likely to spawn! It's by the waterfall near base 2, there's a cave half way down the cliff, and it spawns in there!
It’s actually accessed from two points. Easiest entry is to the right (if you are facing the base entry door) of base 3. Don’t go down the hill stay on the path where you’ll see some fallen rocks or boulders that you can walk around. It’s the cave with all the drawings of circles on the ground
5:40 chansey is so rare that even with encounter 3 it only does roughly 80% Dragon encounter is 95% dragons and 5% ghost doggos i believe the ghost dogs are hard coded to spawn there to make valiant hunts a bit harder
I spent 3 hours hunting an iron valiant in the cave and after that final sandwich for that session a full odds vaporeon spawned at the lake, I was happy but also like, come on man, but mostly very happy.

My biggest recommendation with shiny hunting Corviknight is to tilt your camera so you're looking straight down at the Pokemon. Eliminates a lot of the reflection that obscures the gray in it so if you see something suspicious in the shade you can reliably check.

Area zero has a bunch of amazing shiny Paradox Pokémon. My favourite have to be iron valiant which was one of my first main hunts. And I got one too. Took me like maybe five minutes to find it but it took me a heck of a long time to catch, Finally getting a crit capture.That is some dedication trying to find all the Pokémon in area zero shiny.

Swablu isnt a dragon type, thats why it took so long. You spawned Altaria and in families, there is a full odds chance to get swablu and Umbreon spawns in the walls
I got my vaporion from hunting my rouring moon along with my 3 gibbles (2 had the uncommon mark and one had the rare mark) 2 zweilous 1 pami 1 graveverd And finally a digtrio

corviknight isnt bad at all, you just weren't in the right spot. do it at the starting area of area zero. (the place you get to when you jump into the crater, not using any of the teleporters) and hunt it how you'd do every other hunt there, run in and out of the area where pokemon cant spawn to despawn them all and respawn them all by running back to the area where they can spawn. I had to find 3 corviknight before being able to catch them, because they kept flying away and out of range and to my knowledge theres no way to get them back down when they fly up into space
I actually through dumb luck encountered a shiny umbreon during my 3rd playthrough of violet in area zero, didn't realise how rare of a shiny it was then
7:30 i caught a random shiny corviknight in area zero, but genuinely couldn't tell it was shiny because of the lighting in area zero. i just had a hunch and tossed a pokeball. great birthday surprise lol

Fun fact: If you explore near the very top of area zero, a large den with a lake should spawn tons of vaporeon. Its also spitting out a waterfall..
