I needed to see how it turned on . I could not figure that out at all til I saw you do it. Know that sounds silly but it was just a button and it does not show in the instructions
I just bought two of them and I like them however I wish the light would turn all the way off once there's no motion detected instead of staying on dim because it seems the battery would last longer and the light would be brighter..👍
Put one at the end of my driveway. Same complaint though. Wish it would turn off instead of dimming. I got it to scare away attempted trespassers. Wanted to catch them by surprise
My neighbor has one if you unscrew it there post to be a plastic pin you got pull out.or have different settings to putt on but she brought from home depot. If not then you should buy different security floods light. Or call company and ask them how to work it.
I have 2 of these. Been a few months and the still work perfectly as if they were brand new.the black on was relocated 3 times and do the white light, relocated once. All due to other lights taking their spot.. Yes I have a lot of security lights.

with the low light on all the time will it still work at 4 in the morning?
Get a bigger one. I usually just turn it off turn it on when I'm working in that area

@WaKing Pleb I keep mine off and just turn it on manually when i needed or when I gave people over that need to see.

It does charge when it's on or off. I leave it off because it doesn't get a lot of sunlight and doesn't get used a lot.
