There’s no way that the feature of just letting you transfer a purchase from one card to another without a balance transfer fee and giving full rewards is profitable. They had to be actively bleeding money. Feels like a venture capital play to get market share and then be acquired by Visa or Mastercard or Chase or whatever.

Hey off topic but do you know what the “foreign currency” exclusion means in chases terms for sign up bonuses for chase freedom flex? I want it to be my next credit card but I’m worried all my purchases oversees wouldn’t count towards the SUB.
Hey! Yes so, the purchases you make abroad will count abroad, so you’re good there.
Foreign Currency Exclusion just means you can’t buy other countries currencies from a bank, and meet the minimum spend etc.
Like buying Canadian dollars with a credit card to hit the minimum spend, that won’t count towards the welcome offer.

Yes the card will always be valid, just the curve card will be completely done for.
