I have a 450hp 1000NM touareg 4.2 TDi dyno tested. And i get 5 seconds to 0-100. If this golf had 420hp it should tear up the road. this is around 300 I think too.

My stage 1 octavia Mk3 vrs does 100-200 in 11.5s there is no way that is 420hp
11.25s for 100-200 is very slow for a fwd 420hp.
I think the gear ratio is not optimal for a decent 100 - 200 tbh.

No chance 420bhp seems more like standard with stage 1 remap to me .
it is possible if he got new pistons, crankshaft and all... but looking and hearing the exhaust its not possible because you also need full 3" exhaust system and it totally doesnt sound like that. But i think its 235HP and 420nm of torque 350hp is max for a ea888 engine (nto sure if this has a ea888 engine). and the 560nm of torque is only possible with new axles and a performance clutch.

I have mk5 and light bulbs would always go off, I would buy expensive ones, Bosch, but they would go out in a month. Then I bought the cheapest chinese ones and it has been over a year from last bulb change.

Why do most cars you borrow from owners have these crazy hp numbers, but when it comes to measuring the raw performance they’re nowhere near the performance of the claimed power and always underperform? A 420hp ED35 taking Over 11 seconds from 100-200? And almost THIRTEEN SECONDS on one run?????? This car has more like 320-350hp at MOST, i get times of around 11 seconds in my mazda 3 MPS and it only has a bit over 300hp..

Apparently tuned by Elmerhaus. Come on guys, using bullshit figures in your video titles doesn't improve your channel in the long run. You shouldn't just use the hp numbers the tuner/owner tells you as a fact. You probably have access to several dynos, why not use them.

La verdad que los 420 hp que dice tener no condice con la quedada en la velocidad final. Con 420 caballos reales no se queda de esa manera...a menos que lo fondeen en 4 o 5ta. No me gusta el video, ventos argentinos llamados jetta mk6 y mk7 con una reprogramación rondan los 290 km/h. Esto no me sorprende...anda lindo, pero hay autos con la misma mecánica tsi y con menos caballos que andan mas.

Most likely partial blame. The slow one should have checked the mirrors before making the move and the fast one was going over 130kph which is the recommended speed on the unrestricted Autobahn. You may go faster, yes. But you‘ll pay a price if something goes wrong.

Edition 35’s use a de-tuned Golf R engine and have 235 bhp as standard. Just over 310 at stage 1. I doubt this has 420 though!

I can't believe still how much car Speedos are out in this day of electronics which is so Sophisticated
Its the wheels size. The MK6 is setup from factory to account for a 17 inch wheel, these look like 18's or 19's. I run 18's on my MK6 and the speedo is out by about the same as this one in the video. All you'd need to do is change the ratio of the gear in the transmissions output shaft that is used to measure speed. Not a "simple thing" really hence why no one bothers. But if this car was running 17 inch wheels, speed would be almost spot on.
