@AwesomeBRINKS yea shujinko is fun, but I just can't do any combo that would make shujinko an actual viable choice. Rn I use him because it's fun to use the opponents specials on them. I tried labing smoke/shujinko and I've come to the conclusion that if I want shujinko to help do a combo that can reach 40% without using two bars, imma need shujinko to do ambush attacks, at least for certain moves. For example Nitaras and kitanas attacks that shujinko steals (d,f,kameo) are useless as a combo extender for him even tho that's what they are for Kitana and Nitara. If they were ambush I can already think of ways to use em. Tbh I think shujinko needs more. Like at least let me spend a bar to use him as an ambush, that trade off alone would do a lot or let certain shujinko attacks be an armored reversal on wake up. I think shujinko can be much more. Imma still use him cuz I love shujinko, and it's fun using him, but competitively, he's too high risk, low reward with the exception of using him against geras, sub zero and a couple of others. Idk, I'm ranting on too much but he's so cool that I can geniually see him be so much more than he is compared to other kameos he just needs a lot of tweaks, every move he steals needs some adjustment depending if they're too strong or too weak. I am glad tho that more ppl are using shujinko, I look forward to what ur able to pull with him 🫡
@@ryoga7599 Yea he is unfortunately way too situational. I was able to get good damage with Nitara and Kitana's DB+K moves but the DF+K moves are pretty unremarkable. Same with Johnny and Baraka. It's wild that they give you Sento stance against Kenshi but don't just give you Johnny's Star Power as the DB+K move. Against Shao, Scorp, Sindel, Mileena, Tanya, Geras, Sub, Liu, and Li Mei you get a lot of really cool combos at least though. I suuuuper agree with you that Shujinko should get something as an ambush from each character too. That would really make him so much better given how the ambush moves usually define the viability of other kameos. But yea big agree that he needs some tweaks, but is such a cool concept for a kameo. Otherwise, I've been really liking Sektor with Smoke, but I'll definitely keep Shujinko in the back pocket

Lmao yea I'm sure you could get away with a lot against people this early. But if youre interested in other kameos to try with Smoke, I love Sektor. The missile lets you combo into invisibility off of F121+3. Goro and Scorpion give you fun combo options too and both can let you combo into invisibility from F121+3 as well, though it's different timing
Its actually the same input as the regular cancel. The only difference is youre inputting an EXBF3 rather than just a a regular BF3 So let's say you're doing F32 into it, the inputs would be: F32->BF3EX->B+BLOCK
Shujinko requires intimate knowledge of the moves he steals and how well they work with your character of choice. That is a whole lot of research to do
You have to EX it for additional cancels in the same combo since you can only cancel the regular one a single time during a combo. I'm pretty sure there's no point to doing it, since you seemingly get more damage out of spending meter on EX teleports instead, but it looks cool and has ridiculous corner carry if you combo multiple F12 together lmao. Mostly just if you wanna flex when your opponent is at lower health and would die to your combo either way
