Geo fell off. I remember 2 years ago he was looking unstoppable now he's looking like Anderson silva when he lost his mojo
Cole has blackbelt level jiujitsu , hes only a blue belt because he is 16, when he turns 19 he will get his black belt
Is there an age limit in regards to belts in traditional bjj? Because he's modern bjj bb in my eyes hanging with a guy of this experience.
@@lewciferistic yes there is an age requirement for certain belts. Thats why you never see a child in jiujitsu wearing a blackbelt, this aint Karate. 16 is the minimum age requirement for Blue and 19 for Black
Great LL attacks and defense. I think Geo messed received a knee pop or two.
I love this ruleset
I love how Geo’s legs are already so blown he won’t tap to anything legit. Gonna be hobbling in his 40’s.
AmZing. One of my favorite new grapplers
impressive match
That’s a scary 16 year old!
I just realized my dog must have trained in JJ before I adopted him. He scoots his ass across the ground just like these guys.
blue belt
with 10 years of jiu jitsu
LOL at all the comments saying "he is not a blue belt, he is actually a black belt" No, he IS actually a blue belt, just because he is able to beat a lot of black belts doesn't mean he is one. A belt doesn't mean you can beat every belt below you or can't beat people with belts above you, it is earned over time and due to age limits he still has a blue belt. That's just the way it is, all the people commenting otherwise can not like it but they're wrong to disagree with the simple fact that he's a blue belt. Even the announcers say it
Great match. GJ cole.
I love how everyone thinks the belt or time dictates the level.
I’ve always said if you come up through the kids rankings blue belts should have indicators on them. For nogi it should be called blue/black or juvenile blue. My son is six years in by the time he’s 16 he’ll be 10 years in..
This is no shock. Cole is an excellent player.
John Danaher said it the best....
A blue in his gym is likely better than a 2nd degree black belt in another gym.
Don't let those belts fool you....
Where they train will tell you whether the belt is an applicable representation of their skill set.
Also, we're now seeing a generation rise that's been training since they were 6, given the popularity and rise of Brazilian Jujitsu in this country and around the world.
And im obviously not knocking on the great Geo Martinez.
2:15 is that an underhook DLR to inversion?
The commentator is a fucking weapon!
Bjj has turned into straight up hh game... Crazy shit
- Can anyone explain why Geo doesn't wrestle? Does he know how to wrestle?
Love to see success in the up and coming, and love to see losers lose 😂 so this is just great to watch all around
