a note on responsibility in the outdoors: there is no perfect solution to making ANY human activity fully sustainable. that said, doing what we can to minimize our impact and educating ourselves on the biomes that we are recreating in is SO important to ensuring that these spaces are habitable and enjoyable for years to come :)
I’ve been a full time van lifer for about 4 years now. Wiping the pan out with a damp cloth while it’s still warm is huge. If it gets crusty fill it with a bit of water and boil to soften. A metal spoon will tear off the coating on the pan. No judgements. Been there done that. Btw. I run a BLUETTI ac300. Runs my gaming system, 27” monitor, and fridge like a champ. ✌🏼
Notice you're scraping your fry pan, you should try Dawn Power Wash pump spray. In fact you can save lots of water by just using the pump spray and drying clean.
just had a carton of milk leak. Guess the entire frig needed to be cleaned, tubs, trays, everything. I feel your pain. But now you can move on to enjoy. You're blessed of course!
Thanks for taking us along with you on your journey to town and chore day. May not be a beautiful scenery vid but it is a glimpse into the reality of day to day life on the road. I appreciate your concern for the environment and the prudent way you dispose of gray water. Have a great week.
Thank you for the realistic view of chore life. I also struggle with food prep so when I saw "the lime incident", it just made me laugh because it's SOOOO REAL!!
I find myself looking forward to your videos, what a lovely feeling week by week! And forget about anyone questioning the 'brown ass water' lol - keep on disrupting systems lady! You're one of the coolest people on YT. What's your astrology btw? I'm curious about your Sun, Moon & Ascendant 👀✨
Somehow I missed seeing what you did to dispose of your urine tank from your toilet in Baja? I would imagine if you found a roadside restroom you could dispose of it there.
Nice just a really great place to share moments in time with good friends. By the way have you ever thought about getting a bicycle it would make the commute to town a lot easier.
Oh god.. I've had stuff explode in winter. Nothing like waking up to the entire dash covered in frozen Monster. (Michigan winter, -30F... No heat coz at the time I only had a buddy heater and didn't want to deal with ice on the windshield. Go figure.) Also - be careful with grey water disposal. most US states don't allow ANY grey water discharge at all. (Not that I think what you're doing is wrong. I think it's an excellent way to handle it. But most people aren't as careful as you.)
Simply love the video love your purpose. Love your drive. And your community. Stay blessed stay safe and you’ve prompted me to have a Mexican meal tonight with margaritas till next time saying hello from South Carolina.💜✝️🫶🦋
I have been waiving my hand over my sink of dirty dishes, like you did. But unlike you, my dirty dishes don't disappear! Is there some part of your hand waiving technique I am missing or doing wrong??? A secret wrist action, or maybe a magic chant ("Sink, sink in the counter - Clean my dishes without water")
Seriously, great video. Thank you. I wish I was there to help with chore day. I am cleaning my frig, and with you in spirit. What was in the two jars that were left in the sink? Looks like maybe micro-greens?
Completely off topic but I love your easy going sense of style! Do you mind sharing where you purchased your tank top from and also your sherpa vest? Many blessings and safe travels!
Awesome, thank you! Forgot to mention but your videos of central/southern OR make me miss home so much! My spouse used to work at the Medford DMV and you mentioning the wait times there made us chuckle because it was so true! If you haven’t already and you’re back in the area, i definitely recommend the Alvord Desert and the nearby hot springs ❤️
Certainly not - we should not be pouring any of our waste into water sources - whether we drink from them or not. Microorganisms in the soil act as 'filters' of sorts, breaking down and dispersing waste into its most basic chemical components. Depending on the biome, for example, an arid desert, you must be even more careful to only dispose of water as it would take even longer in that climate for materials to break down.
@@SheRoamsWild may be you are right. I just know from school ocean 70% surface of the Earth, the Land -30%.I looked in the encyclopedia, it turns out that there are much more microorganisms in the soil than in sea water.
I agree with you. I studied chemical engineering and environmental science, and IMHO, what you said/did in the video is the option I would choose. Soil functioning as a filter, is what makes water-wells function :) @@SheRoamsWild
That's so cool - those are obviously two important areas of science - for our world now, and for future generations. Also, my daughter works for RiverKeepers, and I frequently remind her how laudable her work is. I am concerned about how we are abusing the planet, and the impact on future generations. @@SheRoamsWild

Could you give info on your folding table? Or a link if you already have. Thank you.
Hey! Sadly it is discontinued, but the brand is Zempire, and I could recommend the quality of their products enough!
Thank you. Happy and safe travels.
Besides the superb work you do... Just here to say, I am obsessed with this thumbnail!

Hello sunshine
You always take us to the most beautiful places
Full of nature and experience
Have FUN and be SAVE
Thank you!
I like your process of emptying gray water. Seems spot on. P.S. Feel free to talk about Bluetti all you want.

Hi Alex, Friends & double ear rubs Terra ! Messes happen no matter how unintentional ! Keep up the great work & keep smiling !
Sweet ❤. Tara was cute in front of the solar panel 🤣
The goofiest haha
Keep doing you and enjoy. ❤
When your cooking pan gets so bad…. Put some water in the bottom and heat up and then sit.
Looks like you made a Paloma! One of my favorite tequila based cocktails. Cheers!

All the other comments are great, but lets get to the point of the video. That corn looked awesome!! Do you have a recipe for it?
Nice video
Your Bluetti is impressive. That was some test!
Wonderful! Terra and my Goldie Chester look so much alike ( see photo ) :)
aww how sweet! Goldens are the best :)
These fridge fans work well for circulation of cold air inside the fridge, prevents things from freezing in certain areas.
a great reminder to clean our fridge out once in awhile. all of us have some things that get pushed to the back and forgotten about. 😁
There is such scary stuff in the back of my frig that I can barely stand to look - and will only take things out with a capture-stick
Glad I’m not the only one😅
Man where did you got that folding table it looks amazing !
❤❤❤
We also like the Skotti grill. Thanks for sharing your day.

I hope that you enjoy them! thank you for being here :)
Is having a margarita in a krut jar the new rage? Adds an exciting "bouquet" one can only get from fermented cabbage :)!@@SheRoamsWild
@davidsadowski2029 haha it was just a good jar that I ended up saving! Love the label + size :)

Good video!
Thank you Aaron!
Awesome video. You looked so relaxed. Can you tell me what that washing bag is called? I could use one of those. Have a great week! ❤
Thank you! It's a Scrubba bag :)
Where did you get that folding table! I need one! Also, great video!!!

How has the BigFoot camper been? Any leaks? Keep you warm enough in winter?
This video just reminded me to clean our fridge after a yogurt exploded 😅
it pains my eyes to see you scraping the pan with the spoon. Why not get a non stick pan?
Girlfriend U need a new cooking pan lol seeing u scrape that pan was brutal...
😅 it’s actually a perfectly good pan, I’m just learning to cook on a stainless steel properly still haha
I’m not an expert, but it might be better to pour the gray water into the sea, where microorganisms can process it.
