  • We went fishing at the Coronado Islands, an island chain just 15 miles south of San Diego Bay. These islands are known for great Yellowtail fishing, along with Rock fish, Lingcod and Halibut. We manage to catch a few rockfish, but the real surprise was landing a MASSIVE California Halibut on the Bora Jig made by Pitbull Tackle. Amazing way to start this year's fishing season! Make sure you like and subscribe and enjoy the video!

      It really is, definitely still finding the right distances to have the camera in order to keep the quality high, and reduce the fisheye distortion. But so far, wayyy more interesting shots than my GoPro

    Great video brothers!! Hey I've got my boat have question regarding fishing Coronados. Do I need a Mexican fishing license and boat permit of any kind? Thank you and million Likes!+

      Hey there! Yes, you'll need your boat temporary importation permit, good for 10 years. Also need a mex fishing license, bio bracelet, and FMM.
      I highly suggest looking up the Sportfishing Association of California, they have a full step by step breakdown of what is needed to fish Mexico on their webpage.

      @@SDKook Is there a website? Where can I get this and does it take long time from when you apply and pay? Thank you brother!!!

    How were you able to get your FMM to fish the Islands? The website has been down for months.

    • @SDKook
      @SDKook  ปีที่แล้ว

      Go check out the SAC website. They have links to the whole process. You have to fill out a spreadsheet and submit it to the Mexican Sportfishing consulate.

    Thanks, I've been trying the same website for months. I can't seem to get past the first page, it keeps saying incorrect information in Spanish.

      Here is the link I bookmarked. Make sure you select "Portal De Servicios" and create an account. From there you should be able to select Pesca Deportiva as an option

      Missed that last part. What's the error message? sometimes there is a spot at the bottom of the form that isn't filled out, I've missed it several times.
