I don't really fish Coronado Island. I feel sketched out about fishing there. I know it's all good and it's not an issue, something I need to do more. I fished Coronado Island 5 times in 2018. Didn't really get a video out of any of the trips. San Clemente and Catalina are really fun islands to fish.
I definitely look at the tides before I fish. I use TIDE CHART (Free) App. On this day, I picked a tide from high going to low, but a really small shift. Movement is definitely important for SD Bay.
@@WARBAITS Just bought a few different warbaits lures yesterday....I know they arent the only answer but a San Diego based tackle company has got to add some luck eh? haha
I see you use a real nice Abu Reel for bay fishing. Can u reccomend a reel in the $100 to $150 range. I do a lot of freshwater fishing. Want to get in the saltwater. Thanx.
I use the REVO X mostly. It's around $99. amzn.to/2Bq0Z5t The saltwater will kill any reel, so I don't spend a lot on bay reels. I've used these Revo X heavily for 1 year with no issues. There are some good reels in the 100-150 range by other companies as well. Abu also makes a Revo X Inshore, I haven't tried that one yet.
Love it ! Keep it up Afran
Thank you sir!

I've been thinking about bringing my lil zodiac down there to SD from OC. Where's the closest boat ramp to the jetty?
Shelter island.
I believe Shelter Island opened this weekend
Hey AA, why is it there are so few videos by anyone on the Coronados. Is it the documentation hassle or are the channel islands just better fishing?

Great vid as always. Next time you are on fish like that would you mind showing what you are seeing on the fish finder?
Will do!

Afran, do you usually pay attention to the tidal fcst. before heading out? Thanks!

Was this Saturday morning? I almost took the kayak out to the zuniga that morning. Instead I opted to go to south mission to get skunked.
Ahhh the skunk, that guy visits me sometimes. SD Bay is the place to be right now. Biting.
