1 In the name of God, the Gracious, the Merciful.
2 Praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds.
3 The Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
4 Master of the Day of Judgment.
5 It is You we worship, and upon You we call for help.
6 Guide us to the straight path.
7 The path of those You have blessed, not of those against whom there is anger, nor of those who are misguided.
255 God! There is no god except He, the Living, the Everlasting. Neither slumber overtakes Him, nor sleep. To Him belongs everything in the heavens and everything on earth. Who is he that can intercede with Him except with His permission? He knows what is before them, and what is behind them; and they cannot grasp any of His knowledge, except as He wills. His Throne extends over the heavens and the earth, and their preservation does not burden Him. He is the Most High, the Great.
11 Originator of the heavens and the earth. He made for you mates from among yourselves, and pairs of animals, by means of which He multiplies you. There is nothing like Him. He is the Hearing, the Seeing.
1 Say, “He is God, the One.
      2 God, the Absolute.
3 He begets not, nor was He begotten.
4 And there is none comparable to Him.”
3 He sent down to you the Book with the Truth, confirming what came before it; and He sent down the Torah and the Gospel.
4 Aforetime, as guidance for mankind; and He sent down the Criterion. Those who have rejected God’s signs will have a severe punishment. God is Mighty, Able to take revenge.
5 Nothing is hidden from God, on earth or in the heaven.
6 It is He who forms you in the wombs as He wills. There is no god except He, the Almighty, the Wise.
33 God chose Adam, and Noah, and the family of Abraham, and the family of Imran, over all mankind.
34 Offspring one of the other. God is Hearer and Knower.
35 The wife of Imran said, “My Lord, I have vowed to You what is in my womb, dedicated, so accept from me; You are the Hearer and Knower.”
36 And when she delivered her, she said, “My Lord, I have delivered a female,” and God was well aware of what she has delivered, “and the male is not like the female, and I have named her Mary, and have commended her and her descendants to Your protection, from Satan the outcast.”
37 Her Lord accepted her with a gracious reception, and brought her a beautiful upbringing, and entrusted her to the care of Zechariah. Whenever Zechariah entered upon her in the sanctuary, he found her with provision. He said, “O Mary, where did you get this from?” She said, “It is from God; God provides to whom He wills without reckoning.”
38 Thereupon Zechariah prayed to his Lord; he said, “My Lord, bestow on me good offspring from Your presence; You are the Hearer of Prayers.”
39 Then the angels called out to him, as he stood praying in the sanctuary: “God gives you good news of John; confirming a Word from God, and honorable, and moral, and a prophet; one of the upright.”
40 He said, “My Lord, how will I have a son, when old age has overtaken me, and my wife is barren?” He said, “Even so, God does whatever He wills.”
41 He said, “My Lord, give me a sign.” He said, “Your sign is that you shall not speak to the people for three days, except by gestures. And remember your Lord much, and praise in the evening and the morning.”
42 The angels said, “O Mary, God has chosen you, and has purified you. He has chosen you over all the women of the world.
43 “O Mary, be devoted to your Lord, and bow down, and kneel with those who kneel.”
44 These are accounts from the Unseen, which We reveal to you. You were not with them when they cast their lots as to which of them would take charge of Mary; nor were you with them as they quarreled.
45 The Angels said, “O Mary, God gives you good news of a Word from Him. His name is the Messiah, Jesus, son of Mary, well-esteemed in this world and the next, and one of the nearest.
46 He will speak to the people from the crib, and in adulthood, and will be one of the righteous.”
47 She said, “My Lord, how can I have a child, when no man has touched me?” He said, “It will be so. God creates whatever He wills. To have anything done, He only says to it, ‘Be,’ and it is.”
48 And He will teach him the Scripture and wisdom, and the Torah and the Gospel.
49 A messenger to the Children of Israel: “I have come to you with a sign from your Lord. I make for you out of clay the figure of a bird; then I breathe into it, and it becomes a bird by God’s leave. And I heal the blind and the leprous, and I revive the dead, by God’s leave. And I inform you concerning what you eat, and what you store in your homes. In that is a sign for you, if you are believers.”
50 “And verifying what lies before me of the Torah, and to make lawful for you some of what was forbidden to you. I have come to you with a sign from your Lord; so fear God, and obey me.”
51 “God is my Lord and your Lord, so worship Him. That is a straight path.”
52 When Jesus sensed disbelief on their part, he said, “Who are my allies towards God?” The disciples said, “We are God’s allies; we have believed in God, and bear witness that we submit.”
53 “Our Lord, we have believed in what You have revealed, and we have followed the Messenger, so count us among the witnesses.”
54 They planned, and God planned; but God is the Best of planners.
55 God said, “O Jesus, I am terminating your life, and raising you to Me, and clearing you of those who disbelieve. And I will make those who follow you superior to those who disbelieve, until the Day of Resurrection. Then to Me is your return; then I will judge between you regarding what you were disputing.
56 As for those who disbelieve, I will punish them with a severe punishment, in this world and the next, and they will have no helpers.
57 And as for those who believe and do good works, He will give them their rewards in full. God does not love the unjust.”
58 This is what We recite to you of the Verses and the Wise Reminder.
59 The likeness of Jesus in God’s sight is that of Adam: He created him from dust, then said to him, “Be,” and he was.
60 The truth is from your Lord, so do not be of those who doubt.
61 And if anyone disputes with you about him, after the knowledge that has come to you, say, “Come, let us call our children and your children, and our women and your women, and ourselves and yourselves, and let us invoke God’s curse on the liars.”
62 This is the narrative of truth: there is no god but God. God is the Mighty, the Wise.
63 But if they turn away-God knows the corrupt.
64 Say, “O People of the Book, come to terms common between us and you: that we worship none but God, and that we associate nothing with Him, and that none of us takes others as lords besides God.” And if they turn away, say, “Bear witness that we have submitted.”
65 O People of the Book! Why do you argue about Abraham, when the Torah and the Gospel were not revealed until after him? Will you not reason?
66 Here you are-you argue about things you know, but why do you argue about things you do not know? God knows, and you do not know.
67 Abraham was neither a Jew nor a Christian, but he was a Monotheist, a Muslim. And he was not of the Polytheists.
170 O people! The Messenger has come to you with the truth from your Lord, so believe-that is best for you. But if you disbelieve, to God belongs everything in the heavens and the earth. God is Omniscient and Wise.
171 O People of the Scripture! Do not exaggerate in your religion, and do not say about God except the truth. The Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary, is the Messenger of God, and His Word that He conveyed to Mary, and a Spirit from Him. So believe in God and His messengers, and do not say, “Three.” Refrain-it is better for you. God is only one God. Glory be to Him-that He should have a son. To Him belongs everything in the heavens and the earth, and God is a sufficient Protector.
172 The Messiah does not disdain to be a servant of God, nor do the favored angels. Whoever disdains His worship, and is too arrogant-He will round them up to Himself altogether.
173 But as for those who believe and do good works, He will pay them their wages in full, and will increase His grace for them. But as for those who disdain and are too proud, He will punish them with an agonizing punishment. And they will find for themselves, apart from God, no lord and no savior.
174 O people! A proof has come to you from your Lord, and We sent down to you a clear light.
175 As for those who believe in God, and hold fast to Him, He will admit them into mercy and grace from Him, and will guide them to Himself in a straight path.
72 They disbelieve those who say, “God is the Messiah the son of Mary.” But the Messiah himself said, “O Children of Israel, worship God, my Lord and your Lord. Whoever associates others with God, God has forbidden him Paradise, and his dwelling is the Fire. The wrongdoers have no saviors.”
73 They disbelieve those who say, “God is the third of three.” But there is no deity except the One God. If they do not refrain from what they say, a painful torment will befall those among them who disbelieve.
74 Will they not repent to God and ask His forgiveness? God is Forgiving and Merciful.
28 It is He who sent His Messenger with the guidance and the religion of truth, to make it prevail over all religions. God suffices as Witness.
29 Muhammad is the Messenger of God.

I asked ChatGPT why you shouldn’t ask to meet someone’s mother in Saudi Arabia:
In Saudi Arabia, asking to meet someone’s mother can be considered culturally inappropriate and disrespectful due to the conservative nature of society and the high value placed on family privacy and honor. Social interactions between men and women, especially those who are not closely related, are highly regulated. Inquiring about a woman in someone’s family, particularly their mother, can be seen as intrusive and offensive. It is important to be mindful of cultural norms and sensitivities when engaging with people in Saudi Arabia.

    • @zaytona9988
      @zaytona9988 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +22

That’s true but it also depends on the area. For example, in my city Jeddah you can meet the mother, the sister, the whole family. It depends on how open minded the family is. And many of our generations (gen z/ millennials) don’t find it wrong to show their family.

Lol in a simpler way, Saudi girls and women are Muslims, so they only go out with their friends“girls” or boys who are related to them(from the family). However, if you are a stranger and you talk to someone about his sister, wife, or mother, this is not acceptable in Islam. Even girls, no girl will come to a Saudi girl and say to her, “I want to.” Hanging out with your brother☠️☠️☠️☠️ This may be strange to you, but this is what we call a clean, healthy society

172 The Messiah does not disdain to be a servant of God, nor do the favored angels. Whoever disdains His worship, and is too arrogant-He will round them up to Himself altogether.

Really? I live in Saudia Arabia and I always thought my country was pretty boring, and shows a bad impression to others, sometimes I just wanna leave and have freedom, not saying that there is no freedom, but honestly I’m just trapped in my house and many others all day and really the construction here is a lot, like everywhere I go is sand and construction, but then again I hope it gets better here once the constructions gone I’ll be pretty excited

Despite being very proud of their culture and religion, Saudi Arabia seems to have the most welcoming people. Contrary to what we see in the media, they treat everyone with friendship and respect, regardless of religion or ethnicity in Saudi (based on this and other such videos). It is very nice to see such kind people who are traditional and modern at the same time. In other words, they move forward with the time while also honouring their culture.

Kissing a man isnt gay in Saudi but having sexual relations with them is. As an American, I lived in Saudi Arabia for about 7 years. Saudi's dont really care to investifate if people are gay or not, they just really dont like to speak about sexual desire or intimacy in the public sphere what so ever.
For example, It is really rude and offensive to ask a Saudi man how his wife is doing unless youre part of the family, not even friends do that unless they have known one another for many years and have practically been assimilated into the family. Of course they do actually have harsh penalties for people who commit homosexual acts, but they also have harsh penalties for any act of public affection, straight or not. Its their culture and their society agrees with it as a majority, who are we to impose our beliefs on them if they do not impose their on us?
I learned that chapter 109 of the Quran is specifically dedicated to saying "oh disbelievers, I shall not worship that which you worship, Nor will you worship what I worship, Unto you your religion[way of life], and unto me my religion[way of life]."
I also learned that this is why the early Muslim empires never gave people the option of death or Islam when expanding, rather they took taxes from the people they oversaw as protectorates and owners of the new lands they conquered. Kind of revising what Christendom failed in with forcing people to claim to accept the relgion; as you can see it didnt work to preserve Christendom in Europe.

Glad you enjoyed your trip! Saudi girl speaking 🙋🏻‍♀️🇸🇦 We're very blessed with our beautiful country and our leaders. MBS changed saudi girls' future not just driving a lot of laws are in women's favor right now and this change i think came just at the right time for the population to accept it. If these laws were enforced say 15 years ago the majority won't go with it nor feel like it would represent their values. We have our diversity here just like any other country and Meshaal represents the great majority of Saudi Men but i think my brother won't mind talking to you about me but he wouldn't invite u to meet me for example where in some families maybe you will be more than welcomed to attend a mixed (males and females members) family gathering.

When I was a kid, I had a similar experience on a vist to Tunisia, a former colony of France and where my French mother spent some very early years a a child. From our hotel, we were escorted by a friendly young man who promised us a meal that we would not forget. He took us to his extremely modest family home that was mostly some thin walls and floors of sand. We were served food normally featured at a wedding. Interestingly, as in your experience in Saudi Arabia, it featured a delicious chicken dish. It was cooked in #10 tin cans fueled by some kind of kindling, and used as stoves. Hot mint tea was served in silver(?) and glass teacups that were obviously prized possessions of the family. The entire family, mother, father and numerous kids of both genders, waited on us. The young man from the hotel (an adult 18-20) then took us by car that somehow appeared "out of nowhere".... to the front row of a theater performance (in Arabic) hosted by none other than the Mayor of the village. No compensation of any kind was accepted by anyone. At the conclusion of the performance, we were driven back to the hotel. We had to wait for our return to France to send some money and gifts to the mysterious young man and to what was obviously a "poor" family by Western standards. We received a charming letter from Tunisia confirming receipt of the gifts. (P.S. Time frame: I just turned 73 this month)

Saudi hospitality is what we all agree on it what makes the Saudi people special and specially the people from the north side of Saudi Arabia like Meshaal. I think you need important information for you. Homosexuals will not have rights in any Muslim or Orthodox Christian country, or even a communist or Orthodox Jewish country, because it is incompatible with human nature and is destructive to the social structure of any nation.
Regarding women’s rights in Islamic law, women have greater care rights and men have greater responsibilities. Therefore, the standards of equality and freedoms between us and you are very different. We do not like to be liberal countries, but rather we adhere to our culture, our moral values, and our standards of right and wrong always and forever, which are the texts of the Qur’an and the Sunnah.
We also do not believe in the concept of absolute individual and collective freedoms as long as they cause harm to society or the individual.
Therefore, alcohol, adultery, sodomy, usury, gambling, drugs, and pork are forbidden in our law because of their individual and collective harm.
It is important that you understand that as a conservative Saudi society, opening tourism does not mean that we want to lose our religion, culture, customs, moral values, care that the state guarantees to society, etc.
The tourist must respect our laws and culture and enjoy the tourist experience without interfering in our daily affairs.

I remember the Fox News anchor’s sarcastic attack on Saudi Arabia’s plans and programs to be a tourist country, and her strange and sarcastic attack spread on social media in Saudi Arabia. It was very funny.
Dear Brett, Saudi Arabia, as well as Islamic countries, have similar laws to Orthodox Christian laws, whether with regard to homos*exuals, women’s modesty, etc.. Saudi women’s role model is the Virgin Mary, the wives of the Prophet Muhammad pbuh, the wives of kings and presidents of the world, and the likes are not role models for Saudi women.
The difference is that Muslims do not want to change their laws because they believe 100% that the Qur’an is the word of the Creator.
We do not believe in the concept of gender equality because, as Muslims, we already have our own laws based on Islamic law that we believe in. Women have greater care rights and men have greater responsibilities.
Likewise, we do not believe in individual and societal freedoms as long as they are harmful to society or the individual. Therefore, there are some prohibitions because they are harmful to the individual or society, such as usury, gambling, alcohol, pork, drugs, adultery, etc.
It is good for the tourist to respect the cultures, customs, and freedoms of the peoples of the world and not try to impose his agendas on societies that do not want to be liberal countries.
