I'm trying to slowly collect the major X-men stories. I have the Uncanny X-men Omnibus 1-3 with 4 on pre-order and I have the Claremont and Lee Omnibus 2 that I got just before it went out of print with the reprint of 1 ordered. This will be a good reference for other books to seek out! I'm saving it to my favorites list!
That was fun. I don't look at these videos as bragging, but to grab my attention towards a book to watch out for should Marvel decide reprints or new omnibus release. Thank you.
OMFG Once I discovered you guys, I was hoping and praying you'd do this SPECIFIC episode. Because let's be honest, I don't think there's ever been a more convoluted and confusing lore than the X-men in superheroes. How many teams, alternate team rosters, timelines, deaths that weren't deaths, clones, aliens, cross over events....you poor soul dude. X-Men doesn't just leave Legion in a comatose state, but when you truly try to make sense of it and get it all straight...you're left in a comatose state. LMFAO! I so took the opening as you saying..."Oh God if I just took "mutants and/or X-Men introduced characters...this will takes HOURS." LMFAO! Again, love your stuff, so glad I discovered and now I subscribed.
I'd have to agree with you on UXM vol 3. There was just something so good about the Brood saga sci-fi thriller aspect to it that just hooked me. Good pick for number 1.
Very late to this party, but volume 3 is also my favorite for the exact same reason as you. I started reading "X-men" with those issues and those memories are indelible now. Great stuff.
Yeah I loved the X-men growing up. Had some great ones when I was younger. Spent two hundred on sneakers this month got four or five pairs and that was with thirty dollars in amazon bucks I had. I'm kind of a fanatic in collecting shit, coins, stamps, sneakers, dvds, books, omnis, figures, watches, sunglasses, etc. So I spent two thousand on comics and decided it was time to switch to another hobby since my glasses weren't working and I couldn't read anything anyway. But just got a new pair of readers for like three hundred bucks and we will see if I start reading again, there's some pro's books I'd really like to hit like stephen king the gun slinger I still need to finish and harry potter series I got a few left and chronicles of conan book and so many more. Thx for the video I don't have most the books you mentioned their too expensive to get so anywho. Have a great day. My machine is yelling at me to take my pills time to go, later sir.
Omar, thank you very much for this one. I lost interest in X-men when Claremont left, and I didn't pick the books up again until the Grant Morrison and Joss Whedon runs. I've been a hit and miss reader since then, and the various Near Mint videos have rekindled my interest in the characters. So, I'm not really knowledgeable enough to criticize your various choices, BUT I definitely would have included the second Uncanny X-Men omnibus with the CLASSIC Claremont , Byrne and Austin run. I look forward to your eventual coverage of the various Avengers teams, which have exponentially grown in the last ten years or so. Have you covered the Ultimate X-Men OHCs? Also, I would really appreciate some Deadpool coverage, as I haven't been following the character at all, but I enjoyed both movies a lot.
Erik Nelson my brother, it was hard to come up with a top 10 list. Uncanny 2 would have been number 11 for sure on my list. Avengers will be up on the poll for the next reading order. And I’d love to do an overview of Deadpool and where it all started.
You calling Claremont a "hack" and ranking Operation Zero Tolerance and the Inferno Crossovers at No. 1 was unexpected! Even if I don't agree with your hot takes, it sure was fun listening to you talk about X books.
@@NearMintCondition I'll give you that it does try to be bold and is unapologetically 90s in art, attitude and storytelling. Greg you know that the Crossing is my weakness! It gets so much hate. I guess from people that haven’t read it, but I totally get it. :) I would love to do that. Or just make a video of runs that should be collected.
Love my X-Men omnis. It's the only line where I get the majority of the omnis religiously, there's very few that I skip and am looking forward to having Claremont's entire run omnied. Someday. I really have a soft spot for Claremont/Lee vol 1. For me it may have even made it to No 1.
It was a hard choice to decide which one is my number one spot. But there was never a question when I looked back at all the years which stories brought out the most in me. This was it. The list was damn hard to put together.
Another great video!! I just paid last month over $400 for vol. 1-3..but they really are some of the best classic comics I’ve ever read!! I just wish it wouldn’t cost over $1,000 for the other oop Omnibus/OHC to complete Claremont’s run

Hi Omar, love your videos and find you a great source of knowledge. Would love to see an updated reading order of all X-men Omnis and OHCs as a lot have come out and im terribly confused!
Hi. I just subscribed to your channel. I’m so happy because I literally haven’t set foot in a comic book shop for a long time, didn’t really know about Omnibuses, and your channel introduced me to them! Omg I gotta collect these! Seriously so cool. I just ordered Uncanny Omnibus #3 since it looked the most interesting to me but I’m even happier now because of what you said about it! I’ve actually not read most of the stories in that time period, so I’m ultra hyped and looking forward to getting my first Omnibus!!!
Omg great video! Who wouldn’t love the x-men after this video! Great job! Every book u mentioned I went to amazon to see which ones are available. Lol. Time to order more x-men omnibuses. Pls pls pls marvel reprint Jim lee x-men omnibuses. Maybe put a bug in their ear Omar. Glad astonishing x-men is going to be reprinted. My favourite x-men omnibus is Vol 2. That is my childhood what I grew up on. My favourite comics to date. If anyone can recommend something else that surpasses it pls let me know I will give it a try. Thanks again. Fantastic video!
Thank you so much for the kind words. I love the X-men too..sometimes a little too much. They have my list of OOP omnis and they know how rare some are. So I'm sure the reprints will come. Give them a little time. :)
New X-Men was the first Z-Men book I read about ten years ago. I thought it was ok. Nothing great. In fact I really don’t remember hardly anything from it. Since then, over the past four years, I read a lot of the X-Men back catalogue, including Yncanny X-Men omnibuses 1-3, Mutant Massacre, Fatal Attractions, AvX, Bendis’s X-Men. Now I have a better sense of these characters and a great contextual understanding of the series, I just reread Morrison’s X-Men and wow is it so much better than I remember it. In fact I think it is amazing. Truly a brilliant book. When people say you don’t have to start with Chris Claremont’s X-Men if you’re not a fan of Bronze Age comics and find a newer series to start at, I think that is a mistake. You have to start with Giant Size X-Men to get the full experience. You learn so much of these characters from this point that you can never gain a full appreciation of them if you skip this point. At least this is how I feel now after going back and reading this run, especially doing so without having read too many X-Men stories prior to starting with Giant Sized.
I’ve got all those volumes of X-men on order from amazon cuz I feel deep down that as a comic fan I MUST own them. I’ve always collected X-men single issues throughout my life I HAD all those separate issues and I want to own them again. I wish that marvel tho had at least made the spines POP more. At least the wolverine omni it’s similar but at least they have a pic of wolverine on the side. The X-men omnis have a bland spline. Just like you I quit comics in the 90’s cuz I was OVERLOADED with X-men and 90’s comics in general. When I started again it was the same for me NEW X-MEN got me back in just like you. I collected one title every month and it was that book. I own X-men Legion Quest omni as well but could not get into it because of the art and the story wasn’t my cup of tea so to speak. As always you’re an inspiration Omar and love the video!!!!! ❤️
As a kid my dad got me a copy of the wolverine fatal attraction issue after he gets the ademantium ripped out with the hologram card on the cover. The images in that comic got seared into my memoru and i figured i should get the whole saga to see the images again and finally read the whole story. I got the wolverine omnibus that had that issue in it and now I'm realizing that it doesn't have the whole story in it. Balls.
Thank you so much for your list. I start my X-men comic journey because of your channel. Recently, I got Uncanny X men Omnibus vol.1 and 2, hope to finish before June. My next will be Age Of Apocalypse omnibus (I like Multiverse) and The fall of the Mutants Omnibus. Do you think I should finish Uncanny X men Omnibus vol.3 and 4, then go back to X-Men by Chris Claremont & Jim Lee Omnibus Vol.1 and 2, or do you have any suggestions? (I did check out your reading order but I am not planning to go thru everything)
so much to pick from so much awesome need some lee omni reprints!! astonishing!! so many reprints and gaps to fill...GET ON IT MARVEL!!! wolverine on the x is definitely a TOP 10 cover imo...hulk 340 also a top 10 cover (need a top 20 xmen covers vid or 50 marvel covers!!!) gambit and kid storm!! UXM vol 1-2-3 all so good!! my first memories of uxm were the mutant massacre so i dont remember 3 from my childhood but its all so good. i remember once i got into xmen (i love all of the cross over runs and lee run so much cause its form my childhood) going back and getting the magik and wolverine mini and wolverine Miller/Claremont was SO BADASS!! that was the great part of the video...but...what an asshole whipping out all your whales here and then in fake casual voice "oh i forgot i got this one signed" dick!
Hey Omar great video as always bro really enjoy the list you made regarding your personal favorite X-Men Omnibus and OHC. Truly dope that Marvel had great comics back then. Sucks that they’re not using it to their advantage with releasing Clearmont/Lee Omnibus 1&2. Hope that you’re in the works of making a top 10 Spider-Man Omnibus and OHC I would definitely want to see your rating for Spider-Man
Definitely bro, I would like to see more 90’s Spider-Man Omnibus/OHC, not including the clone saga it’s been done to death. I’m ready for that JMS Spider-Man Omnibus tho
Messiah Complex and the Joss Whedon ones are the only ones on this list I have never read. I think Joss Whedon omnibus is coming out next year though so if I have money maybe I can pick it up, though it's coming out at the same time as Uncanny X-Force so I've chosen to pre-order that instead. Out of the first 3 Claremont omnibuses, though, I agree that volume 3 is my favorite as well. Volume 1 has it's charm and there are a lot of good moments in there, and yeah, Volume 2 has most of Dark Phoenix Saga and Days of Future Past, but Volume 3 has the most good material out of all 3 of them. I was only 2 and 3 years old when these issues came out, but they're still really good. I also really love the Brood Saga even if it's not as iconic as the Dark Phoenix Saga or Days of Future Past.
Omar is such a bad influence. I was at the book store minding my own business, walked past the bargain books section, and picked up hardcovers of Identity Crisis and Wagner's Trinity for no reason! I dont even like collecting! Lol
Fall of the Mutants HC is at my local Half Priced Books but its 150 bucks! I'm really tempted to buy it since the X-Men milestones line has been out and we are unlikely to get a reprint of the hardcover ;___;
@@NearMintCondition lol that was my reaction exactly! I think I am gonna wait didn't look like it was in the best condition anyways. Some poor bastard looked like they dumped their whole collection of X-Men HC's there were a shitload of different ones some of which are out of print.
Omar! Revisiting a few old videos. I’m wondering, with Marvel reprinting Astonishing X-men amidst a bunch of other reprints… do you think they’ll reprint New X-men by Morrison??
Great list! I had several books from this list myself from before (not all), but now I have them all! (recently added a few) :-) Have read many of the stories when they first came out as single issues here in Sweden. Alltough we never had Messiah Complex I think. Have not read that one yet, but I will do that soon. As an old comicbook fan and collector, I really enjoy your videos! My favorites has always been the X-Men I think. Allthough I was a big fan of Spider-Man, Fantastic Four (Byrne era), Superman and Transformers as well. Mostly from the 80's and 90's.
It means so much to me to read the last part of your comment. Old comicbook fans stick together! Thank you so much for the kind words. Have you checked out the IDW Transformers books?
@@NearMintCondition Have all the single issues of Transformers that was released in Sweden 1987-1991 (we where probably a couple of years after US on the releases though). Have not collected any hardcover collections of Transformers though. Don't have room for much more books unfortunately :-)
@@NearMintCondition Oh I do have one from IDW, but it had bad coloring unfortunately so I did not get any more. It was from the classic Transformers. Have not read any of the later stuff.
Just have to mention something about the X-Men comics. I remember the first one ever that I got and read, it was X-Men against Proteus (Claremont/Byrne/Austin). Looking at the US issues, it must be #127. Still one of my favorites :-) The Swedish issue I had (and still have) was from 1985, so we where quite behind at that time...
Collected editions are so much better than single issues. Better paper, better binding, no advertisements, they look better on a shelf and on display, and it keeps the story nice and neat together. I’ll never buy another individual issue again.
I got my copy of Astonishing X-men by Whedon and its hard to put down almost through it. Worth every penny. That shipping was terrible though no protection got a replacement coming in ASAP.
Of course: Messiah Complex Mutant Massacre Fatal Attractions Age of Apocalypse Astonishing X-men Fall of the Mutants New X-men X-men Jim Lee volumes 1 and 2 Uncanny X-men volume 3
Omar! Thanks for this video. Would love to see a cosmic Marvel or Avengers top 10 of your favorites. To join the conversation on this one, though, my top 10 would be: 1. X-Men by Claremont/Lee Volume 2: The definitive xbook for a 90’s kid. I was born in ‘88. I grew up with these back issues, the cartoon, and birthday parties with themes on this shit! I own two copies of this book, the extras are phenomenal, and the art is something to behold. I literally show this book to friends to marvel at it. 2. Fatal Attractions: Ditto for this book for my points on number 1. I remember being 6 years old and having a friend show me the wolverine bloody panel and feeling like I saw something a kid shouldn’t. The art is gorgeous and this is just a crazy 90’s pop culture book as well. 3. Uncanny X-Men volume 3: Storm vs Callisto. Wolverine. God Loves, Man Kills. The Brood. The amazing Kitty cover, and tons of extras. 4. Wedding of Cyclops and Phoenix: Another high 90’s era book, see my points for numbers 1 and 2 5. Uncanny X-Men volume 2: Dark Phoenix, Byrne art 6. Age of Apocalypse: A true treat for longtime fans 7. Uncanny X-Men volume 1: I love the Psi war issue, the magneto issues, and this era 8. Xtinction Agenda: The Genosha storyline is one of my favorites and the Jim Lee art is 10/10. I mean, Psylocke with a huge sniper cannon reeling back to plant for recoil? Genoshian mechs and futuristic soldiers with hover platforms? The metaphor is strong in this one too, but we’ll excuse the Bogdonave art. 9. Claremont/Lee Volume 1: This thing bores me at times but holy moses some of the issues have high highs. I mean that 268 issue is so freakin’ beautiful...and the wolvie crucified issue, and my favorite cold opening, “the cradle will fall!” 10. Inferno: The art here is the strongest of silvestri’s X stuff, in my opinion. He goes hog wild on demons. Xterminators and power pack sucked though Honorable mentions: AXM (a little too quippy for me but well written, also cassaday isn’t my favorite), And damn it UXF because i’m a cheater and this would be like top 5 if possible Comon man...Apocalypse Wolverine with an X-buster gets UXF on my list...it’s wolverine with an X buster!
Ch Sion I love your list, my brother! Those would have made my top 20 for sure. This list was so damn hard to put together. Not including Uncanny 1,2 and Inferno really hurt.
Near Mint Condition I have like tastes to yours, so I look forward to your content. Thanks for making otherwise potentially miserable times of my day (commutes, getting ready for work, dinner when the girlfriend is away, etc.) much more fun. Hope to support you guys soon.
Omar, do I need to get Legionquest to fully appreciate Age Of Apocalypse? Or will I get the full bang for my buck if I jump right into AOA? Please let me know as they have a couple copies left of Legionquest at the online book store so I must make up my mind where to put my monthly book fund. Thanks!
Man, every time I see Hulk and Omnibus I think where the hell are my Peter David Omnis!? Then Marvel reminds me that all is right with the world, because we are getting a Loeb Red Hulk omnibus. :/
HAHAHAHAHA you know me too well. Pissing contest. nah man, I love talking X-men and I hope that Marvel in the next couple of years rereleases some of these.
Does the omnibus title add anything I don’t know about? Or do we just like things to match on the spine? I found Fatal Attractions in a comic shop near me and picked it up, but no omnibus branding.
@@streetfighteralpha9891 Unless the new edition has new content or is remapped, it doesn't. I don't know about who "we" is but mismatched spines don't bother me at all. I singled out Fatal Attractions (could have been Bishop's Crossing or Shattershot) because it's been long out of print - you're lucky to find a copy in the wild that's close to cover price.
@@tapsilogic Thanks. I really wasn’t sure, but was curious since Near Mint mentioned it in the video and so did you. “We” as in we collectors was what I meant. lol The shop only charged me cover price for it thankfully. There’s a few I want that I just missed so I’ll have to pay more for those I’m sure.
I think you shouldn’t do spoilers whenever your doing a top 10 list many new readers know absolutely jack shit about these books. Save the spoilers for when your doing a book review man. I got a buddy that just got into comics and he would find this video helpful if it didn’t have spoilers. Keep up the good work love the channel.
@@NearMintCondition yes and you do warn people in this video as well. I’m just saying I think any top 10 type video should not have spoilers. Love the channel by the way. Picked up uncanny X-men vol 3 great recommendation!
Does the Fatal Attractions OHC reproduce the holograms? If not, would you double dip if they reprinted it as an omnibus with the holograms? Have they ever reprinted any hologram in collected format or is it purely a floppy thing?
I've never had anyone ask me this question. No they do not reproduce those awesome Hologram cards on the covers. If they reprinted a book with the holograms....yes...yes I would double dip. :)
I have a question so which book do i purchase first xmen the age of apocalypse or companion ? And im seeing 2 other versions of xmen one is by stan lee and the other one is by chris Claremont which one do i get first? I want to step into the xmen series and get the full collection!! Please help !!
Morrison was zzzz. Sword appeared. Doug died and now he is back. . Cameback with more power God love man kills was dope. Storm v. Calistoga was epic. Majik series was cool. Now she is annoying and confusing. Good review as always
X-Calibre is pronounced the same way it's just named after a gun instead of a sword. Or giving it even more poetic meaning "the quality of someone's character or the level of their ability."
Been reading the X-men By Chris Claremont and Jim Lee since 1991, but Accident got rid of my X-MEN . I Need to find them. the singles because i can not afford Omnbius.
@@NearMintCondition That's funny, the way you described Grant Morrison New X-Men brought you back to comics, is the same way I feel about that last issue of the Dangerous arc. As a kid (2006 Right?
Thank you so much for the kind words my brother! All the time.
Thanks man! Loved it
Thank you for taking the time to watch and comment.
You are right... Uncanny Volume 3 is the best!
Thank you so much. Believe me, it was tough which one to go with for my number one.
Balls.
The memories. Dag! So many memories...
Really cool video...ive got a few of these on the list 👍
Thank you for watching.
so much to pick from so much awesome
need some lee omni reprints!! astonishing!! so many reprints and gaps to fill...GET ON IT MARVEL!!!
wolverine on the x is definitely a TOP 10 cover imo...hulk 340 also a top 10 cover (need a top 20 xmen covers vid or 50 marvel covers!!!)
gambit and kid storm!!
HAHAHAHAHAHA! I love the last part of this! top 20 X-men covers!!!? Now we're talking! :)
Great video!!
Thank you for watching!
Hope that you’re in the works of making a top 10 Spider-Man Omnibus and OHC I would definitely want to see your rating for Spider-Man
I would love to do a Spidey one. We just need more and more of these stories in these formats!
Definitely bro, I would like to see more 90’s Spider-Man Omnibus/OHC, not including the clone saga it’s been done to death. I’m ready for that JMS Spider-Man Omnibus tho
Awesome vid dude. :)
Thomas Judge thank you, brother!
Badass collection.
Thank you and Badass avatar!
I’d like to see your top ten marvel omnibuses
Awesome. It's a pity that so many of these volumes are out of print.
Give them time, I see lots of these coming back starting this year.
Great list! I hope they reprint the Jim Lee stuff
Thank you and I hope as well.
My Favourite OmniBro!! Sorry Jess
Thank you so much, and if it means anything, Jess is my favorite Omnibro. :)
Great video my man! you did it again!
Mi hermano, muchas gracias!
Thank you so much for watching and the kind words.
WHOA!!! I can dig it. :)
Martin The Collector thank you, my dood!
@@NearMintCondition In a Predator voice: ..."Anytime".
Martin The Collector yes!!!!
#JusticeForXorn
HE WAS A GOOD CHARACTER
Nocturne22 I agree. I wish someone other than Chuck Austen would have taken over the character after Morrison.
Awesome video
Thank you so much.
Omar is such a bad influence. I was at the book store minding my own business, walked past the bargain books section, and picked up hardcovers of Identity Crisis and Wagner's Trinity for no reason!
I dont even like collecting! Lol
HAHAHAHAHA Nobody is at a book store minding their own business. You had a purpose, just didn't know it.
Mutant Messiah was great. Hated Morrison run. Weird as hell Jean always dies. Sold my copy. Fatal attraction was dope. Wolverine bones ripped apart
It was dope.
Just curious new to the channel. Is X-Men your favorite series?
redkalel thank you for joining the channel. X-men is my favorite comic. Yes, but I have tons of other books that I love.
Oh of course I can tell lol. That’s cool my favorite is The Flash
redkalel which run? For me i think it’s Johns>Waid>Messner-Loeb. Those are my favorite Flash writers.
For me it’s Johns, Manapaul and Williamson.
Waid I put 4th. I started reading that stuff last year
Omar?! You Are!.. The Man!
Thank you, hermano.
I just wanna go back into a Comic Book Store!
Robert Marquez same my brother
Great video Omar
Thank you so much, brother.
Fall of the Mutants HC is at my local Half Priced Books but its 150 bucks! I'm really tempted to buy it since the X-Men milestones line has been out and we are unlikely to get a reprint of the hardcover ;___;
bleh. I hate those stores. Half Price, my ass! I'm thinking the next one they do will be either Fall of the Mutants or Inferno.
I hope so, brother. Perhaps in 2022.
Interesting, I disagree with 3 of these choices but i appreciate the effort.
Thanks for watching and it's all subjective. :)
Top ten Batman books.
That should be fun!
Maybe a top 10 DC Omnis?
I would love to do that. YES!!!
Great list! I had several books from this list myself from before (not all), but now I have them all! (recently added a few) :-)
Have read many of the stories when they first came out as single issues here in Sweden.
Ah yeah the penultimate chapter of the Proteus saga. You should check out the IDW Transformers books even if just digitally.
Age of apocalypse omnibus brought back some trauma... I practically killed myself trying to get all these issues... And I did it. All gone now, but...
I used to collect the singles too. I can't remember if I ended up selling them all or not. That is why I have collected editions on the bookshelves.
Collected editions are so much better than single issues. Better paper, better binding, no advertisements, they look better on a shelf and on display, and it keeps the story nice and neat together. I’ll never buy another individual issue again.
I'm waiting for Amazon to ship out Astonishing X-men since I was too late for direct market orders. Hopefully in the next week or so.
Let me know if you do.
@@NearMintCondition Will do, so far it hasn't been rescheduled.
I got my copy of Astonishing X-men by Whedon and its hard to put down almost through it. Worth every penny. That shipping was terrible though no protection got a replacement coming in ASAP.
Can you list out your top 10? I don't want to watch video because of spoilers. I liked the video. Thanks!
Of course:
Messiah Complex
Mutant Massacre
Fatal Attractions
Age of Apocalypse
Astonishing X-men
Fall of the Mutants
New X-men
X-men Jim Lee volumes 1 and 2
Uncanny X-men volume 3
@@NearMintCondition awesome thank you!!
Thank you for asking and even linking. :)
I'd love reprints I don't care if it's 2nd 3rd or 100th print I would buy
Wonderful video! Thank you :)
Thank you so much for taking the time to watch and comment.
Omar! Thanks for this video. Would love to see a cosmic Marvel or Avengers top 10 of your favorites.
To join the conversation on this one, though, my top 10 would be:
4. Wedding of Cyclops and Phoenix: Another high 90’s era book, see my points for numbers 1 and 2
5. Uncanny X-Men volume 2: Dark Phoenix, Byrne art
6. Age of Apocalypse: A true treat for longtime fans
7. Uncanny X-Men volume 1: I love the Psi war issue, the magneto issues, and this era
I mean that 268 issue is so freakin’ beautiful...and the wolvie crucified issue, and my favorite cold opening, “the cradle will fall!”
10. Inferno: The art here is the strongest of silvestri’s X stuff, in my opinion. He goes hog wild on demons. Xterminators and power pack sucked though
Honorable mentions: AXM (a little too quippy for me but well written, also cassaday isn’t my favorite), And damn it UXF because i’m a cheater and this would be like top 5 if possible
Comon man...Apocalypse Wolverine with an X-buster gets UXF on my list...it’s wolverine with an X buster!
Ch Sion anytime my brother. I’m happy to hear that you are enjoying the content!
Thanks!
You can get the whole story in the AoA omnibus. I promise. This just adds as a filler for missing issues.
Marvel has so much stuff out of print it's insane.
There's a multitude of Epic Collections no longer available as well.
I've noticed that as well. It's weird, because the original idea behind Epics was to make sure the stories are available for everyone.
Top 10 Hulk Omnibuses!!!! Oh...wait, (glares at Marvel).
***joins in glaring at Marvel***
Man, every time I see Hulk and Omnibus I think where the hell are my Peter David Omnis!? Then Marvel reminds me that all is right with the world, because we are getting a Loeb Red Hulk omnibus. :/
@@NearMintCondition i would rather have A Jeff Parker Red Hulk omni
Same, brother. Same.
Do another top ten video! Like top ten Absolute editions or editions that are absolute size but from other publishers! Those would be tits!
I like that idea! Thank you, brother.
Omar, quick question: would House of X for on this list and where would you put it if so?
At the very very end. Updating this reading order as soon as I have Uncanny 4 in my hands.
Is Wolverine and the xmen 2011 by jason aaron a good place to start? ive never read any xmen
Look at this guy showing off his omnibus hey i got out of print x-men omnibus to was up now homie LOL 😀
HAHAHAHAHA you know me too well. Pissing contest. nah man, I love talking X-men and I hope that Marvel in the next couple of years rereleases some of these.
Love this video
Thank you so munch.
@@NearMintCondition very excited we’re getting so many X-reprints this year I have a chance to try to pick up some of these omnis I’ve never grabbed
Hi Omar, do you the X-Men vol. 1 will ever be reprinted?
I think it will one day.
Crazy how several books in this video have been reprinted since it came out. Still holding out hope for a Fatal Attractions rebrand/reprint!
“We” as in we collectors was what I meant. lol
The shop only charged me cover price for it thankfully. There’s a few I want that I just missed so I’ll have to pay more for those I’m sure.
Cool someone do a Wonder Woman one too, you ask why because i really liked the new 52
I did ask why. :)
@@NearMintCondition cool Dude off all the cool hosts of Near Mint, Your videos have the most oomph ✌️😝
Thank you so much my brother. :)
This video is over three years old. I tell people now if I’m about to talk about spoilers or I keep it vague.
Praying for that Uncanny X-Men Volume 3 reprint, it still hurts my soul I can’t find it over here
It will come, just give it some time.
Top 10/Comprehensive reading order of the Avengers please!
You got it. I added it to the poll.
Morrison was zzzz. Sword appeared. Doug died and now he is back. . Cameback with more power God love man kills was dope. Storm v. Calistoga was epic. Majik series was cool. Now she is annoying and confusing. Good review as always
Thanks brother. Magik is so different than she used to be.
where can i get x men epic collection #1? its really hard to find:(
It will come back eventually
i have marvel unlimited,i want to read x-men,they have alot of x-men there,i was wondering is messiah complex any good?
I dig Messiah Complex so much it made it to this list. It's just a good modern crossover event.
@@NearMintCondition i have to watch the video again, think i missed that
X-Calibre is pronounced the same way it's just named after a gun instead of a sword. Or giving it even more poetic meaning "the quality of someone's character or the level of their ability."
so like Ex Caliber... :) Still sounds the same in my head.
I honestly don't get the huge love of Jim Lee's art, when I compare him to Silvestri I would always go the later.
Fun fact: on 1 issue of Ethan van scivers new X men the word sex is hidden on every page
What are those Omni’s next to onslaught ?
Nick P good eyes my dood, those are omnis I found on eBay last year.
What is the best way to keep track of when Marvel decides to reprint an omni?
I use the hachette catalog to do some fishing.
Been reading the X-men By Chris Claremont and Jim Lee since 1991, but Accident got rid of my X-MEN . I Need to find them. the singles because i can not afford Omnbius.
Yes, those omnis are out of print and ridiculous.
Nice
Very nice
Is The New X-men By Grant Morrison Omnibus is it Hardcover or Paperback?
It's HC.
Hi can you tell me which omnibus portrays the sugar man arc?
Age of Apocalypse and some Gen X classic.
@@NearMintCondition thanks! Stay safe
Wait...did you not like the Danger storyline for AXM??
Not my favorite arc, I think it was the ending more than anything that bothered me the most. But seriously 90% of the book was amazing to me.
@@NearMintCondition That's funny, the way you described Grant Morrison New X-Men brought you back to comics, is the same way I feel about that last issue of the Dangerous arc. As a kid (2006 Right? So around 11 or so) The line "What did she say to you?" "What am I?" changed everything for me. I saw my hero's with great intentions and great flaws for the first time and I've been hooked ever since! Thanks again for these videos. Looking forward to more!
