  • Bandit Running's UNSPONSORED Project just pulled off one of the most genius sports #marketing tactics at the US Olympic Trials for Track and Field.
    They did it by playing their own game: not Nike, not adidas, not On or Hoka's game, but by playing their own.
    I will teach you about the UNSPONSORED Project by diving deeper into what makes it so great by using Sports Marketing & #branding Principles that YOU can learn and implement immediately.
    We will cover the #sportsmarketing Landscape today, WHAT the Bandit Program is, WHY it's so effective and HOW they've captured people's imagination...
    Whether you're building a personal brand or working on your own brand, this video will help you do so more effectively!

    its why Google only has 13 words on their home page. that goes back to the late 90's when homepages had so many ads ad banners it was all a blur. Google went the opposite direction and stood out for being sparse

    I’ve been so into Bandit’s moves lately, especially Joe GREER’S photo campaigns - it makes running look so f’ing cool. Like you said, I think it taps into the run club idea, but in an elevated way (distinct from the fun OV feel). Haven’t had a chance to but their clothes but would love to try it. I’d love to see you talk about Janji, mostly bc I love their gear!

    It is an interesting story about Bandit. Makes me wonder what keeps brands in other markets (countries) from taking on this approach? If I'm not wrong in understanding, it seems this action is an underrated way to build brand loyalty & increase sales via low-cost, high-penetration marketing at local levels (all with great PR potential).

    • @JordanRogers2626

    im curious how you all track how capturing the most visible athlete translates to money? as a physician and scientist it seems like a hard thinng to know what amount of sales of a particular product is due to effective and active marketing, and which can be attributed to other passive outside forces such as general interest in running secondary to the olympics and others?

    • @JordanRogers2626
      @JordanRogers2626  8 วันที่ผ่านมา

      lots of factors, but it's generally a part of demand creation and there's a market rate. Companies know that ppl want to emulate their favorite athletes, so it's a lot of art versus science.

  • @stuboyle666
    @stuboyle666 8 วันที่ผ่านมา

    Hey, great video. I'm interested in a discussion of all these athletes who have completed their college running but continue to run in their collage kit at the trials. Parker Valby from Florida is a perfect example. I presume that Parker and Nike are in negotiation but is Nike taking advantage of her when she continues to run in her co-branded Florida/Nike kit?

    • @JordanRogers2626
      @JordanRogers2626  8 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Nike signed her last year. NIL is now a part of the equation where athletes can sign endorsement deals while still in college!

    • @stuboyle666
      @stuboyle666 8 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@JordanRogers2626 Yeah, I'm aware of that but seems like Nike is taking advantage of the situation now.

      @@stuboyle666 ahhh, i don't think so bc she would be in a Nike singlet otherwise. It would prob be better for them if she was NOT in FL gear, so they could push their key products.
