- Bandit Running's UNSPONSORED Project just pulled off one of the most genius sports #marketing tactics at the US Olympic Trials for Track and Field.
They did it by playing their own game: not Nike, not adidas, not On or Hoka's game, but by playing their own.
I will teach you about the UNSPONSORED Project by diving deeper into what makes it so great by using Sports Marketing & #branding Principles that YOU can learn and implement immediately.
We will cover the #sportsmarketing Landscape today, WHAT the Bandit Program is, WHY it's so effective and HOW they've captured people's imagination...
Whether you're building a personal brand or working on your own brand, this video will help you do so more effectively!

Yall are killin it! 📈
You are great at making hard to understand marketing prioncipals simple for average viewers. Your channel will explode sooner or later!
@@TwitterasX thank you! 👊🏼 I’m just an average viewer as well. 🖤
Nice points! wow you nailed it. Bandit was the one brand that I remember from the trials.
amazing!
As a business administration student currently and soon to be business owner I really enjoy this this . I will be making a sensory friendly activewear brand / year around clothing brand
Ah, love to hear it!
loving this new deep dive format. Love your content!! Keep it up👏
THANK YOU
the more you dove into it, the more genius the program sounds
@@elliottchard I agree! There’s levels to this. Thx so much
Always kills it. Worth the 15min entrepreneurship edu-macation lol seriously. Appreciate all your goodness and sharing the story of how you deliver it.
Thx so much, man! Trying 👊🏼

@@faithbasedfitness6512 so glad to hear it!
Great coverage and a deep learn for me!
So glad you learned from it!
Great content.. very informational, thank you.. much love..
thank YOU!
its why Google only has 13 words on their home page. that goes back to the late 90's when homepages had so many ads ad banners it was all a blur. Google went the opposite direction and stood out for being sparse
Another one! 🔥🔥🔥
appreciate it!
Love this video! I went to the trials as a spectator 🤩It was so surreal in that new stadium. I remember when Nick Symmonds tried putting fake tattoos of his sponsors' logos.
Ha! Gotta look that one up!
Wow, so much game in a single vid, what I see and confirmed by the BANDIT project. The vail has been lifted, brands will be forced to be authentic and be apart of something bigger then their products etc. Enjoying your longer vids Jordan, tapping in from Houston.
yoooo, thanks so much for tuning in! You're exactly right. Texas Forever.

So good 🙏
Yall keep up the great work 👊🏼
I’ve been so into Bandit’s moves lately, especially Joe GREER’S photo campaigns - it makes running look so f’ing cool. Like you said, I think it taps into the run club idea, but in an elevated way (distinct from the fun OV feel). Haven’t had a chance to but their clothes but would love to try it. I’d love to see you talk about Janji, mostly bc I love their gear!
note to self. Thanks so much!
This channel is 🔥
Appreciate that!
Dope move and story
Thx for tuning in!

thanks for leading the way, brother!
It is an interesting story about Bandit. Makes me wonder what keeps brands in other markets (countries) from taking on this approach? If I'm not wrong in understanding, it seems this action is an underrated way to build brand loyalty & increase sales via low-cost, high-penetration marketing at local levels (all with great PR potential).
It's fundamentally opposed to the way most brands do marketing & branding! Tough for ppl to do.
👏
Keep up the great work, brother
im curious how you all track how capturing the most visible athlete translates to money? as a physician and scientist it seems like a hard thinng to know what amount of sales of a particular product is due to effective and active marketing, and which can be attributed to other passive outside forces such as general interest in running secondary to the olympics and others?
lots of factors, but it's generally a part of demand creation and there's a market rate. Companies know that ppl want to emulate their favorite athletes, so it's a lot of art versus science.
Hey, great video. I'm interested in a discussion of all these athletes who have completed their college running but continue to run in their collage kit at the trials. Parker Valby from Florida is a perfect example. I presume that Parker and Nike are in negotiation but is Nike taking advantage of her when she continues to run in her co-branded Florida/Nike kit?
Nike signed her last year. NIL is now a part of the equation where athletes can sign endorsement deals while still in college!
@@JordanRogers2626 Yeah, I'm aware of that but seems like Nike is taking advantage of the situation now.
@@stuboyle666 ahhh, i don't think so bc she would be in a Nike singlet otherwise. It would prob be better for them if she was NOT in FL gear, so they could push their key products.
Good video but these tik tok word by word captions are annoying. Although I understand they’re good for engagement and makes it easier to cut into shorts. Keep up the content 👍
tough to please everyone all the time! Video 2, so I'll keep getting better. thx for checking it out
@@JordanRogers2626 Personally, I enjoyed the captions haha it kept me focused! Keep going Jordan 🤝
Class is in session! Awesome analysis. Long-form > short-form. I hope the next generation interested in working in sports marketing finds this channel quickly.
thank you, brother! That's the goal. Always appreciate the support.
What would Bandit's next play be? Ultimately they'll want to leverage the success of campaigns like this to grow their share of the market, no? Or do you think this tactic is still going to have relevance in a year or two?
Could be a feeder system for future athletes. Baby steps to full Olympic stage.
Interesting topic, but just couldn’t stick with the video because of the incredibly annoying captions.
That hat….
How does bandit make money?
i know this can’t be the only thing, but if you browse their website, almost all of their (expensive) running clothes are sold out. their pieces are $70-100 😅
@@gabriella0128 Thanks for the info. 😅
Great video, however I’m tired of hearing about Black, hear it too much at work.👊🏾
🙏🏼👊🏼
Why would you talk so openly about your schemes to make money? Aren't you ashamed?
