The people who add all the sound effects to these deserve a whole lot of credit. They're truely great at their job... After all, it's not evident at all that they've even done anything, as it's so natural, but when you think about it, there's absolutely no way that those bug footsteps, shuffles, scrapes or jumps make noise they can record from as far as they must film these with great zoom lenses and such.

At what point is the camera in between them? If you're referring to 2:30 then that's just a further zoom in onto the spider while the camera is somewhere relatively far behind the mantis. These professional cameras have incredible zoom in capabilities.
also if u thought they went to the wild and took those footage u wrong, i remember watching like documentaries about this job, they made a room and created the habitat of the insects then capture all the footage. i'm too thought this was an animation but no way they spend the budget on that spider eyes.
The cameraman got more willpower than the dude in the Demi-Chan anime when the sensei accidentally touched the succubus teacher
Imagine being the mantis like:
"Mom, mom i scared the spider away"
Mom: * hungry *

The people who add all the sound effects to these deserve a whole lot of credit. They're truely great at their job... After all, it's not evident at all that they've even done anything, as it's so natural, but when you think about it, there's absolutely no way that those bug footsteps, shuffles, scrapes or jumps make noise they can record from as far as they must film these with great zoom lenses and such.
I agree. It's amazing. Reminds me of something Disney Nature does for their films as well.
@Sarcasm83/Games - they're known as Foley artists.
A Foley artist is a person who re-creates sounds for film, video, and other media in post-production to enhance audio quality. They replace sounds that cannot properly be recorded on set. Foley studios have viewing screens, and props, as well as recording equipment to record sounds as they watch the film.
I thought the sound effects were natural😱
@@autumnhaze4842 At first i did too but then I saw a video on how they create the sound and was mind blown
