I can’t tell you how much the hot glue trick helped me out. Also, the fact that you filmed the WHOLE process. Not just the shooting and cutting was excellent. Great video.
I've watched a passel of videos to figure out bare shaft tuning and arrow tuning. The one thing you did I haven't seen anywhere else that is super useful is using hot craft glue. I got a glue gun and heat gun, and man it is so easy to make a cut, put an insert on, try it out, rinse and repeat. Best tip yet. Thanks.
First: I love the simplicity of your approach. I took a few years off shooting honestly because I went from simple to getting very very in-depth and it messed up my head and made it not fin any more. Second: tuning is one of those reasons I took a break. Lol Please clarify about your hitting left statement… I thought everything I have read stated if for a RH shooter, you hit left then arrows are too stiff and needs to be weakened and if you hit right they are too weak .. You have stated and more importantly SHOWED you hit LEFT and therefor your arrow was WEAK, so you make it MORE STIFF which moved it RIGHT. Complete opposite of what I have read. But it worked perfect for you I am wondering if I somehow got it wrong in my head. Please advise. Also what tuning guide did/do you use to figure this out Thank you
You misunderstood. The arrows DO GROUP to the right if it is too WEAK, but they KICK TO THE LEFT ON FLIGHT. Ans as result they hit the target to the right of where one is aiming at. It is the FLIGHT which one looks to perfect which in turn give accurate arrows.
Spencer Valeri what you can’t see is the slo motion video I took, (I can’t figure out my editing software) but on the camera we can see what the arrow is doing.

Thanks a ton for watching Greg! Every so often one of my tricks works.
The cameraman (or woman) did a great job.
Thank you for the video. I was confused about tuning the bow. Thank you that answered a lot of my questions.
New sub just started watching your content
Thank you

How can you tell if it’s weak or stiff without shooting a bare shaft. The feathers provide a lot of correction.

Spot on brother. Id like to see the bareshaft comparison.
I have had feathers change my bare shaft tune. I like to tune with the actual arrow I intend to use.
Can u get the dog some water?
How does it shoot bareshaft
Love this video . I see the bow is a rustic archer recurve Cud i ask what model this bow is . I really like that bow.
Thanks a ton! That's one of Wade's Mongol Bows!
What’s the draw weight
I was under the impression that an arrow kicking left of the centerline was a stiff reading? No?
What arm guard are you using?
What's the bows poundage as a reference ?
I was shooting 54@26" bow
