Thank you! I've been working on-and-off on a novel since high school. Every so often, as my writing improves, I'll rewrite it. I'm currently in the process of another revision. I think if I watched you before our subject began in writing I think I could get a high grade😢. Unfortunately, I failed and just write and write in simple ways and don't know the technicalities and tips😅. Now, that we literally have creative writing I hope that it helps.
Nice to see you too! I usually put up new videos every 2 or 3 weeks. I know many people are faster, but this schedule works for me. :) I also recommend turning on notifications in case you maybe missed something recently.
1. Limit adverbs and use precise verbs or adjective. 2. Eliminate relative pronoun. Remove that, whom 3. Show don't tell; showing emotions 4. Use variety of sentence structures 5. Just start! Defer judgment! Don't be hard on yourself A bad finished story is better than no story at all Everyone's first draft is terrible. 6. Edit! Step away for a few days. The real miracle of the writing process happens in editing. Don't give up! Get inspired 😊
