Love how the segment was supposed to be about how great the Pats were and how the dynasty show didn't do them justice, Bill derails that within a minute then proceeds to drag the Colts, Pat and the boys the entire time while others were catching strays left and right, that was classic Bill Burr in peak form there.
The Colts are irrelevant and deserve to be such.
did he not realize that it was a compliment saying the Pats were the greatest dynasty in NFL history? I get he's trying to say that the Pats are better than a dynasty and are a standalone.

It isn't an opinion at all and therefore not even a discussion- what's much more interesting is to hear people's opinions on what the greatest sports dynasty was period when talking about the pats

@@almoen5412 He was good enough to play at a large college, where he won awards🤷🏿♀️. He “left” because school was over, and he could punt good enough to make an NFL team. Punting is significantly easier, with less pressure. The point is that Bill doesn’t realize he wasn’t an NFL kicker, and for some reason, Pat pussed out, and never corrected him…so now Bill mentions kicking in every interview.

Let’s be real folks, the NFL would not conspire against the team that is making them a boatload of cash. However, when certain allegations are raised (whether it’s deflated footballs or video taping walkthroughs) they have to do something to make it look they are being impartial. The media would have a field day if they just brushed it off without doing anything about it.
You cannot conspire as a single entity. The NFL learned with the Pats (and rolling over to the Chiefs) that 31 fan bases hating one team makes more money than a bunch of divisional rivalries. But if you don't give the haters a nibble every now and again, then they lose interest.
The "collusion" you speak of is a carrot dangling on a stick before a donkey.

I would argue the opposite. The NFL helped the Patriots dynasty just like they are doing to the Kansas City Chiefs dynasty now. Dynasties make pro sports leagues money.

When Bill starts to explain how people’s minds work when processing information, you see how intelligent and deep he is. The NFL is a a union of ( capitalist) owners . The New England Patriots would have been more successful, if the NFL did not get involved in stopping them. Or trying to. JMO **THE New England Patriots Dynasty equals Kraft family, Bill Belichick, and Tom Brady.
Burr gets the Colts organization 100% here. The Colts tanked for Luck. They pumped in crowd noise. They straight up made-up Deflategate, which is completely explained by high school science. They cried to the competition committee about perfectly legal defensive coverage and changed the rules in 2005; the Pats should have represented the AFC in 2005 and absolutely would have steamrolled the Rex Grossman Bears. Peyton Manning is an incredible QB but the Colts were a whiny, borderline insufferable franchise during the entire tenure of Patriots' supremacy.
That said they had some truly transcendent players. Bob Sanders is criminally underrated in particular; Jeff Saturday, Marvin Harrison, Reggie Wayne, Edgerrin James, Dallas Clark, Dwight Freeney--nothing but respect for the Colts' players. And Pat himself was a phenomenal punter--love the success he's had post-playing career, but people forget just how good he was. Top 20 all-time punter in my book for sure--his ability on onside kicks alone was amazing to see. Great conversation here guys--have Bill on more often!
Chiefs have been to 4/5 Superbowls winning 3, and 2 back-to-back. Also, primed to win another, 3 in a row, with no talent on paper aside from QB and TE. By the way the first afc championship was one offsides away from 5/6, winning another set back-to-back.

Episode 6 isn't even worth watching.. the entire thing is about Aaron Hernandez, and there's already been documentaries made about his story. They spend about 5 seconds on the 2011 Super Bowl and the rest is all Hernandez.
