This body style looks so much better than new civics. Honda needs to bring this back. I owned a 2015 civic before I traded it it in for my lexus.

I recently test drove this car when he had it on sale. I flaked out and missed my opportunity to get it back in 2019. I'm glad it's in good hands and still looking clean.

My dad had a 91 too. In 08, we scrap it because it was a pile of rust! Yours is so clean!
Thanks! Unfortunately they are prone to rust being 30+ yrs old and depending location but it is nice to find/ have one with either no or minimal rust!

That is a great looking Civic. What kind of rims are those or if you have any recommendations for aftermarket rims? I recently gotta a 91 Civic EX in immaculate condition for my son. i love everything about the car except for the aftermarket rims the previous owner put in. It also does not have A//C which is a bummer. I am planning on replacing the rims and am looking for some ideas. I am currently woking on upgrading the audio system including adding a sub and dashboard lights to LED lights.
The rims were Kosei k1’s wrapped in 205-50-15 Hankooks which I'm personally a fan of but rims really come down to personal preference and style! Thankfully there's a plethora of rims to choose from that fit Honda's in all price ranges. Sounds like a nice pick-up you found though! Check-out efparts.bigcartel.com, they carry some common & unique parts for the EF chassis!
@@Chendyy Thank you so much! i found the rims on tire rack and they are around 170. i just changed the dashboard lights, cluster lights, and headlights with LED lights and they look great. We also installed a new sub and amp from Skar audio.

Sorry to bother you. I am having an issues with my auto trans fluid leak. Do you by any chance know how to access the shift shaft seal? i have read that leaking from shift shaft seal is a common problem. i took the car to two different transmission shops and got different answers. Both shops are telling me that the transmission needs to be replaced. One of the local shop tells me that the leak is coming from "case half" I am not very convinced. I see wet spots around the shift shaft.
Hi! Unfortunately I do not off-hand but I'm sure you can find some info around replacing with a quick search on Honda-Tech or YT! I would also have one more shop take a look to see what they say and if any of the three shops align. Good Luck, I know leaks can be frustrating.
Is the center compartment factory? Mine doesn't have one.
To my knowledge, this one was a factory JDM option which are tough to find now but are out there. There have been people who modified Integra and even Prelude center consoles/ armrests into the ef though. You also have option of doing a CRX dash swap. Good luck!

Beta Max Thank you, it wasn’t perfect but, a really good job! It was actually painted by the guy I bought it up from so probably not a lot in comparison to a body shop.

Hi - I don’t have any direct experience with your trans swap but, do there are a couple variables to consider when swapping trans between different year Civic years like model, engine, hydro or cable. I would start looking at Hasport Performance and go from there. Good luck!
