I had a Mini Cooper in the 70s. They are surprisingly roomy on the inside. Very economical to run. I used to be bopping all over the island with my dog. Sold it in the 80s for a bigger car once kids came along. Really missed it. Would love to have one again
The Mini transformed economy cars by being the first front wheel drive cars. Great car and great transformation. And she is a right hand drive car in the USA! Love to see you take it for a spin.
Strange how Mini owners call their car Coopers, when in reality very low production numbers of real Mini Cooper editions were actually made do to significantly higher price tag. Sorta like many owners of replica AC Cobras call them Cobra when they are not a Cobra to begin with.
Not in England they don’t,,,,, not even sure this is a cooper either, this does not seem to have any cooper logos on it, as far as I know there was never a white one but I could be wrong, the dash and stuff don’t fit with the seats, 🤷🏻 to me it’s not a cooper
Really enjoyed watching the video! Short history. Mini was part of the Rover Group but in 1999, BMW sold the Rover Brand but kept Mini. The 'new' Minis started coming to USA in 2003 and the rest is history. Personally, have been with BMW/Mini Group for the last 20+ years.
Mini, but not a "Cooper" or a "Cooper S" I had a 1966 and a 1967. 1987 were the last year they were imported into the USA Legally. Not sure why one would replace the BMC Engine with one from the J.A. PAN Company.
Amazing how many classic car owners are to lazy, to 'intellectually challenged' or in this case easily both like the owner on this car even to put a car cover on it when it was stored. Something tells me the real name of the car owner is Bobby Joe, his wife is Betty Sue and their kids are Billy Ray, Donna Ann and Ronnie Lee
Thanks For Watching! 🙌
Leave a Comment of a Story you have with one of these Mini Coopers! 👀

Just to let you know it’s a Rover that made minis for a time not Land Rover

HELL NAH DID HE JUST FIND A DED ANIMAL IN THE CAR???
That's not barn find, it is Shed find.
You don’t take the wheels off to clean them?
Depends on how much you're paying me 😂
I may have missed it, but did the owner drop in a Honda vtec engine?
He mentions it at the beginning but Yes! Not your average Mini 😂
It’s a pity about the constant jump editing. Most annoying.
Doors locked?? No worries...just bust out a window.
Almost got to that point 😂

They didn’t make a Mini Cooper in 1976
Pretty sure it's not a cooper
Pretty sure it is
