Congratulations on your 3yr Sisterloc anniversary!! Your locs are gorgeous I’ve been following you since the beginning of your installment wow. The growth and thickness are awesome.
Thank you and welcome to my channel! My whole hair journey from the past 5 years or so is documented on my channel. Enjoy and let me know if you have any questions 😀
Thanks for sharing. I have similar issues. My scalp happy with 2 washes a week as well and oil irritates my scalp. I am 6 months in and started with bald spots from allergy to braids ! Those parts have finally started to grow in so I am basically newly locked in those areas. I basically stretch my washes to once a week to avoid the locs from coming out. I count down to that day😅 and can’t wait to go back to twice a week. Your hair is looking great!
Congrats on overcoming the allergy! I have a few allergies myself and it's crazy what they can do in/on the body. I hope you are able to go back to your twice a week wash schedule soon! And thank you for the compliment!
Awesome on your anniversary. Your hair looks great. I’m in the Dallas area as well and want to ask you who is your dermatologist? I need to find one to go to for my alopecia. I have Androgenic Alopecia and really need help. Thanks in advance.
Hi thank you! My loctician is @loctheory on ig. I don't usually share my doctor's names publicly, but please send me an email at joy@joymorrisbeauty.com and I will let you know.
Thank you! I am still hanging around 200 pounds. I'm in a bit of a winter slump and I'm trying to find inspiration for how I want to work out in 2024. I'm still drinking the 100 ounces of water each day and counting calories. Once I figure out my next move I'll make sure to share on the channel 😊
Three-year locs are looking great! I have no loc experience, but I can say that twice a week shampooing is working wonderfully well for my CCCA. I still can not handle oil on the top and crown, but I can use the Camille Rose serum in that area.
Thank you! Yes my scalp became so sensitive after my CCCA started flaring up. But now that it's doing better, these simple oils that I shared feel pretty great on my scalp. I'm scared to try oil blends right now because I always wonder if any of the ingredients might cause my symptoms to flare up. I haven't heard of the Camille rose serum. I'll have to look it up.
@@JoyMorrisBeauty It's called Rejuva Drops. I like it because when I put a drop on my skin and massage it in there is no oily feeling. It dries almost like water. It doesn't cause any itching on my scalp.
Same here! I also am dealing with CCCA (diagnosed in Sep 2020) and have recently discovered that 2x a week shampoos is where it's at. My scalp is also easily irritated; it's so helpful to know I'm not alone and not the only one experiencing this crap.

@@JoyMorrisBeauty Are you still using clobetasol? Is that the serum you're referring to from your dermatologist?
