Hey bro, I'm so happy that I ran in to your channel!
So I have the same ride and the 2.0 version (500 watts like yours) and I absolutely love her! Super torquey, strong and nice ride. Oh and I can't forget just how amazing she sounds.. Like a Boeing 757 spooling up - love it! 😃.
So my problem is that it is time for a new Rear Tyre. I'm not sure if you know about it since you probably don't need a new tyre yet but when you do, you may be in for a surprise.
Long story short, the Scooter shop guy said that I have to buy a new motor which comes with the tyre pre-attatched. I found this to be odd and left. Then I wrote Roadrunner an e-mail asking them to direct me to the proper tyre to replace and they said the same thing the guy in the shop told me where I got to buy a whole new motor. Plus get this, the motor is out of stock in the USA so even if I wanted to go this route, not only do I have to pay $275, I also got to take a number and take a seat while I'm at it.. Crazy bro. I still haven't replied to him but I am going to soon.
Now, I found the very same tyre that's already on the rear wheel (Rising Sun 8" 200x50mm etc.) and I've seen a few videos on other scooters with similar situations and they just change the tyre just like most other tyre changing jobs on youtube. So I've been thinking to just order the tyre and give it a go.
So I don't know if I'm being told everything. Sorry for the long winded post bro but I just wanted to see what you thought?
Bro I appreciate all that you said .There's only a few that will know how fun this little rocket can be . I wondered before 🤔 about changing the tires and how difficult it would be.. my advice is to have an extra person to help. And get the tire really really 🔥 hot were you can stretch enough with crowbar or large flat heads it's possible. I was able to change a Xiaomi scooter tire to solid by my self but very difficult first time . I saw a machine install this solid tires on a hub motor. The machine easily stretch the tire with 4 prongs around the motor and wrap it. So yes order the tire .

I also forgot to mention just how sick your X4 looks with the LED's and I will be following in your footsteps on that as soon as I am done taking care of the tyre. Thanks bro!
Edit: Oh and I also wanted to say that yeah, I've also have changed Pneumatics to Hard Tyres on my Xiami clone (Hover 1 Pioneer) and although a lil difficult it was definitely doable and the rear wheel hub on the X4 doesn't look all that different even with it being the hub so I was a lil confused at what these clowns were telling me... I guess, there are some people out there in this industry that are trying to get rich over night lol.

@@budgetrydes4820 You see, the motor hubs on a G-30 and the ones on your general Xiaomi's and clones use a different hub. Those I've already have changed but our motors are different. However, with that said, I've been seeing many other brands that are succesfully changing their hub motor tyres.
Here's a job on the Zero 8. Now this scooter is very, very similar to ours. Same motor type, same size, same wattage. Not identical as the Zero 8 uses a 8" 200x60mm Tyre and we use a 8" 200x50 Tyre but the job should be the same... I hope lol.th-cam.com/video/8M38hd4-7bc/w-d-xo.html

Cool vid man. Got the same scooter. I love the torque and rev noise. But no way its hitting 25 mph on flat surface. When you calibrate display it will hit 19 mph on flat. Range on mine is 18 miles.
Yup , I ment to say the max speed on throttle is 25mph . Top speed is 21mph.. yes your spot on the 19mph ,pretty much average speed Seems like it was faster when I first got . Slightly slower maybe cause it cold 🙄. I would not want this scooter going too fast. not built for it.. thanks for liking the video .

@@budgetrydes4820 yeah I stay off my FB but use messenger everyday but I was riding it yesterday and it is fast but it gets You no where the battery dies so damn fast I gotta try that hook up You did its still worth $165 but for it to have a 350 watt motor idk
@@nybackyardlegend4 yes the KXD scooter is a bargain. Time flies when you are having fun on it . why not just buy a different scooter that goes further? Because it's not a 3 wheel 350w KXD scooter 😉 the only way to enjoy it longer is to add a battery.. I will do a part 2 on the battery extension.. the scooter will feel stronger.
