W promo it was so convincing i didnt even skip it😂 you could voice a commercial atp
Clearly Jrue Holiday was the quarterback of the Elite D-fence. The bucks were playing. They miss his communication and that's just not Dame's game. Never has been.
More Caitlin Cooper any day. Great analysis and so comfortable and professional. Should be on a network broadcast.
bro she was amazing for real
right i see her on locked-on pacers and her anayliss is great im glad shes getting her shine!
yes she for sure knows her facts 💯
honestly women dont belong reporting on sports they dont even play. people arent experts on sports by watching it. people whove never played professional baseball cannot be experts on professional baseball. everyone has thoughts. doesnt mean all them matter
The fact he isn’t turning the ball over is insane
It's because he picks safe passing opportunities. He's not trying to make an acrobatic pass or catch a highlight, he just has command over the floor and reads the game really well.
@@geordiejones5618 + team chemistry
@@geordiejones5618 yes, but usually faster pace results in more turnovers. The Pacers play at a break neck pace which makes his assist-turnover ratio even more impressive
@@FS-zt6tmyeah pretty much anyone scoring and assisting at the rate he is would average 4 turnovers easily
@@Braylenc123for real trae young is top 3 in assists and he’s averaging like 4 TO’s a game. Hali is playing like New Orleans CP3 rn it’s crazy
i love caitlin’s analysis of Hali’s passing and his philosophy
She always great
Damn. If he keeps this pace and keeps himself healthy at the same time, he can be a future MVP. I really hope he stays healthy for the rest of his career.
Future? He should be an MVP candidate this season. These numbers are historic.
@@user-pq4dq6bj2u I agree. He for sure can be a candidate for MVP this season but I doubt it if he can win it this year but I love it if Haliburton proves me wrong. Maybe 2 to 3 years if he keep up these numbers.
@@user-pq4dq6bj2u embiid giannis and the likes are way hetter than him so why should he ? esp embiid alhas a huge chance to get back to back mvp this season
@@user-pq4dq6bj2u He's an MVP this year if his team wins a bit more. If not he will just be an afterthought
@@rodneyconcha2973he needs another star to play for him. Imagine if he’s playing with another star. They will be contender for sure.
Where is the In Season Tournament Finals video? 🤔
I am waiting the lakers video..
Hey! Caitlin does an excellent job. Hear her all the time on Setting the Pace. Also, Rese is HIM!
I guess no one wanted to reply on my comment, but I clearly stated the Lakers length would demolish the Pacers! And that’s exactly what happened
is he the most improved player? even looking stat by stat, he easily clears tyrese maxey imo. Similar jumps in ppg but an INSANE jump in efficiency for Tyrese while having less of a minutes jump than maxey. He's also somehow brought up his insane assists number. IMO he should even be in the top 5 in MVP if they scratch near the top 5 in standings, the pacers had no business being the best offence in NBA history and thats because of Haliburton
He was insane last year. But people only care about points even if those points damage your team
Which Tyrese? Lol
I would guess there’s almost no chance he gets it. Just because it seems to be mostly given to a guys that goes from something like the 125th best player to the 30th.
I think a jump from the 30th to possibly the 7th is way way way more of an “improvement”.
Luka faced this too, when he went from like a borderline all star rookie to having one of the best offensive seasons of this century in his 2nd season.
Just doesn’t usually work that way…
Edit: The counterpoint is he also was amazing for a good chunk of last season. That could be a solid argument used against him
@@Colinkrauss1 the supposed front runner maxey was already good and is better, Ja Morant went from very good to amazing as well. It's more common now to have a player thats already good and improves to become a true star to get the award. And I don't think there is a really good candidate for a role player turning into a star.
@@marcochen9117 yeah you’re right. It probably is a bit more likely than I thought.
Watching these young guys compete is amazing. Big fan of hali too future is bright
Call me crazy but I feel like his shot mechanics actually help him against contests. His shoot always seems like it should come off a second before it actually should, and anytime I see a good contest it’s inches alway from a four point play
That’s interesting
Kinda look like Magic's form
his shot form is so strange and it seems like he doesn't really gather the ball....he just shotputs it mid dribble, so defenders have a hard to time reacting quickly enough to contest.
Lakers put him in guantanamo bay
@@KHJ4D Fitting, Magic's his idol and the guy he wanted to be on the court growing up. His personality seems just like him too, based off interviews and how he conducts himself, just a happy-go-lucky joy to watch, and a nice guy to boot
Another Pacers star who is a lights our shooter with a funky release? Exciting times in Indiana.
That clip at 7:35 is so cinematically beautiful
When his foot touches the ground the ball’s still in his hand. Sorry but that’s a travel… Still a great player and MVP candidate.
Props to the most underrated coach in NBA history. We miss you here in Dallas Coach Rick!!!
Pacers fans have been saying for a good while now, watch out for Haliburton and well, this year he's finally having his breakout season. Deadly from all over the floor, but I like his arsenal and focus on penetration, creating openings for his teammates and his balance and versatility with his in the paint finishes off the drive. Kid is a joy to watch. Weird jumper though, yet effective.
He might get the MIP, In tournament Cup MVP and League MVP. Future's bright for the young man.
For real though, man is making career highs in almost every stat (PPG, APG, FTA, FG%, 3P%) and many of those would be sizable increases. I know many people don’t like All Stars getting MIPs but he gotta be a serious contender for it if he maintains this.
I don't think MIP. he led the league in assists all last year until the got injured, and was averaging 20 pts.. Nobody knew or cared because he is an INDIANA PACER. If this tournament didn't exist, nobody would know until playoff time. But he's been playing like this since for the last 2 years.
@@PacersFinalWord he's averaged 18 and 10 the last 2 seasons.
He's now averaging 27 and 12 , if that's not improvement I don't know what is
Sengun is winning MIP
He's literally Steph and Magic combined
I've been saying this exact same thing for the last 2 years!
couldn't agree more
FAXX !
As a Pacers fan, I knew Hali was really good when we traded for him, but I didn’t know he’d be THIS good. I never thought we’d get a superstar player in Indy unless we got extremely lucky in the draft but all signs point to Hali being one
Caitlin is the best, awesome to have her on here.
best guard?! got outscored by Austin Reeves today hahahahah😂
I'll have to start watching more Pacers' games. I've been missing out. Good to see the emergence of a potential super star (i.e. top 5) level player.
I’m already 43 years old but once I figure out how to dribble the basketball I’ll play in the Nba too.
You can do it no doubt. I believe in you.
Start playing with some 3rd grader first.
@bruskydu bro you clearly can't tell how athletic his physique is from his face pic
Great content great player ❤
He’s averaging 32p, 4r, 13a on 55/45/82 over the last 7 games 😂
And only 1.5 turnovers per game!!
7:39 7:40 sorry Coach but he's travelling at this point , his left foot has hit the floor before he has got the pass off. He flicks it the rest of the way with his fingertips when his foot is planted on the floor if you rewatch that segment
Amazing video and amazing guest
Thanks!!
Started watching hali after he dropped 38 when he was on sac bro is a beast glad he getting his shine
Guys stop the hate on Halli. He was great this season. but he met the GOAT and the brow,
Great content, insightful guest.Well done !
🏀🙏
loved caitlin here super knowledgeable
He got the coach nick stamp of approval, he’s officially him
🔥 🏀🔥
Coach nick also supports gambling go and waste your money and build bad habits as a young adult because coach nick give his stamp of approval!!
@@TheOnlyKontrolcast the first stone
Great player ❤️ great coach.
I don't know if I've slept on this man or what but he is balling. The squad is having a feast! Aye so is Alexander from OKC too man...
Beautiful form on those bed dives coach, just text book!😂
awesome, thank you! caitlin is the shit.
Please use this background often.i love it.
Caitlin knows her shit, you can tell she's so nerdy about it. we need more caitlin 🙌
Here after the lakers won the IST
Caitlin's input was top tier
He might be the best passer and offensive player of the Nba this season so far.
He is
offensive i give it to luka but hes close
Luka 'Magic' Doncic best offensive player and best passer, as well as Jokic this season.
If he keeps it up, he's on pace to have the best PG season in NBA history. No player has ever has had 27 and 12 on only 2 turnovers, including guys like Magic, Stockton, CP3.
@@gac1859Hali clears both
Thaaaaaaannnnnnkkk Yoooou ive been waiting for u to say something Coach
You Should make a breakdown video how the Lakers destroyed their
offense.
You know Coach don’t like the lakers
Exactly!!!!
Caitlin put it on a show.
Definitely MVP when you consider the talent surrounding him.
Best guard ended up getting locked up by the V-Cam 🔒🎥
Vando-Cam Experience
THANKS for bringing Cat!! That long conversation was very eye opening. To take the song out was chefs kiss.
🙏🏀🙏
his concentration and stamina is top notch
When did defense stop being important to be a good basketball player?
I heard Caitlin Cooper was on, so I tuned in.
my favorite youtuber
Lmaooo the dog in the bed 😂
11:50 D rose always does that before
Nicely done, I'm not a baller and don't really understand the game as much as I would like so you are a real find for my curious mind. I live in Indy and lost interest in the Pacers after the Reggie era but I'm back baby!
Awesome! They’re so fun to watch.. if they could focus a bit more on that defense stuff, they’d be in great shape
Anyone who watched pacers previous year could have easily seen that tyrese was an excellent passer like 10+assist per game..Now that his offense has caught up he has become more deadly..
you know its a good video when he uses this music in the background
🔥🏀
I love this channel! Coach Nick and his guests have spilled more basketball knowledge on their shirt than clowns like Stephen A have ever bothered to learn. Learn being the operative word for why I love this channel and others like it. The more I understand what I am watching the more enjoyable sports are for me.
Keep up the good work!
Using the dog in the ad plug was a good move
We all knew the lakers were gonna lock his up. Credits tho he still had a quiet but unimpactful 20 pts. 😂
im a Luks stan, like jersey everything. But Hali quickly climbin my ranks fasho
Wanted him on the Dubs during the Wiseman draft 😭😭
THE HYPE IS REAL🔥🔥🔥🧿
in the game of basketball, there's always that one person whose shot mechanic looks so wacky but it's so powerful and demoralizes you
Without a doubt, the best PG this season.
Best player in the League right Now
he underhands the pass and didn't get called for a travel. You got a nice slomo. One frame one foot down, one frame both foot down and the ball touching his fingers.
After which Toppin travels: catch it in the air, so no gather step, one to, step into it three, shoot.
Great interview, better Psycho sequel.
What is the spain pick and roll?
Literally the new age Nash
better than nash though
@@riptayeNash would be doing this if he played currently and not in the slow ass 2000s. There have only been 11 50/40/90 seasons ever. Only 3 players have multiple. KD has 2 and Larry Bird has 2. Curry has one btw. Steve Nash has 4. Literally the only reason Nash does not have 5 in a row is because one of those years be shot 89% from the line. Nash led his team to the number 1 offense for a decade straight. He had multiple 60 win seasons. Has 2 MVPs. The only reason he doesn’t have a title is because the league did some bs where they suspended Stoudemaire and important suns players for a playoff game so Spurs would narrowly beat the suns and ultimately win the championship. Possibly Tyrese could one day be better but it’s disrespectful to say that already when he hasn’t even made playoffs yet and Nash is one of the best PGs ever.
Why any team would continue to run drop coverage on him after these games is beyond me
MVP
He's having an MVP type of season!
MVP!
Pascal seems to fit in nicely with their pace.
He is doing a harden. Absolutely phenomenal
harden has never done smthn like this
this why y’all gotta stop over rating these players after just a couple games. bet y’all not saying this now he came back to earth 😂
And he's still so young. Wait til he fills out his body with some more muscle and then improves on the defensive end, he's gonna be a monster. I could see him being a more consistent Jason Tatum level player in the future, very near future
More caitlin please
Dog in ad is too cute to skip
One who should get some credit is Rick Carlisle
Who do you think will win lakers or pacers
7:25 HOLY FUCKING SHIT, that's one of the best plays i ever seen
Indiana Pacers defense must respect the 3-point shooting of the Lakers Small Forward on the 1st Unit Taurean Prince.
Taurean Prince is shooting 50% for 3-pointers over his last 8 games. 4 games with at least 3----3-pointers made per game in 4 of his last 8 games. At least 2----3-pointers made per game in 6 out of Prince's last 8 games played.
Your guest is sharp
Dude, you just jinxed the Pacers. Now Haliburton is going to have a horrible game on Saturday. Thanks for that. /s
This does happen more often than you think from my videos 😳
Please don’t let this happens basketball Gods!!
No Haliburton is going to have a phenomenal game! Everybody has been talking about him and he hasn't slowed down at all. 😉🙏🏾
Tyrese Tapdancin' Haliburton
The fast pace that the pacers play with is fitting because of their name. They don't call em the Pacers for nothing
he's got the weird shot technique that works
Tyrese is going to bring so many fans to the nba with his play style
He doing what Luka been doing for years now he’s the best guard
Except Luka isn’t making his teammates better, Luka dominates the ball so much it makes his team worse as we have seen since Carslise left. Luka is an awesome player but not a better point guard
Luka doesn’t have 52/45/88 shooting splits on 9 3’s a game. And it’s not even like he’s averaging way more points than Tyrese rn - he’s averaging 31 to Tyrese’s 27. He also doesn’t average 12 assists with only 2 turnovers.
AS USUAL COACH WONT ACKNOWLEDGE HOW LAKERS EXPOSED PACERS AND DEMOLISHED THEM WITHOUT REMORSE..TYPICAL🤷🏻♂️
This is a hilarious video title when SGA exists
I hate the way his shot looks 😂
Sooo Luka is a SF nowadays?
Yes. He has been one for years now?? As a sf youre versatile in that you can fill in the 1-3 spots.
Luka is not a natural pg he just play that position same for James harden and LeBron
Luka doesn't playmake nearly as good
This might be the stupidest comment I've ever read@@kennn30
@kennn30 Coz of the assist nrs?!?
He really is the best Point Guard 15 assist per game. Im seeing the Lakers double teaming him in the In season tournament. Hope Pacers coach have a great game plan for this. or we will see another blow out by the Lakers if LeBron scores 30 in the first half and Pacers key players will not be in foul trouble.
Seems like "Coach" Nick has been sleeping on the Lakers, not just that mattress.
With all those long bodies, the Lakers have, I can see the Lakers defense stifling Indiana tomorrow!
Damn, the song is nostalgic
Nice
Plus, BearMattress has a Lifetime Warranty 🤯
0:10 HOLY SHIT, that's luka doncic stuff!
