Love the Z Fold 6. This is my first foldable. I could never go back to a regular smartphone now. This is a product that I never knew how much I truly needed.
Yes the Fold is expensive but if I take into consideration the cost of convenience as I no longer have to take a phone, tablet or a laptop to a presentation, just the one device then it's a no-brainer.

I'm still on my fold 4 and still paying it off through my carrier I just don't see the big difference to start paying another phone off with such small incremental changes.
I'm still on my Fold 3 and wondering if waiting for the Fold 6 Special with upgraded camera, screen size and battery is worth it in late Sept.

If you have a Fold 5 then there is no point in upgrading to the Fold 6. As you will get the AI features in a OS update anyway
I'm watching my fold 4.. Just doesn't seem worth it to upgrade especially still paying off the phone through my carrier

for sure. its just PREMIUM. this is my first fold, so it makes sense to me. i can understand why those who have the fold 4/5 have some griped and grudges though. this one was literally just design changes and refinements. next time they refresh this, i think they will go ahead and give meaningful upgrades.
samsung's aggressive trade in promo deals also made me do it. i mean, 900 dollars promo when trading in a fold 3 in working condition? come on.

@@6lastresort oh man. I hate that everyone switched to 3 year "no contract" contract. I got mine through samsung direct so it's a unlocked 24 mo finance. I can pay it early and not have to give up those monthly credits. I have Verizon but once I recover and have enough to pay my regular s24 off I am jumping ship to visible or mint. Depends.

Pixel Pro 9 Fold is cool, but I actually prefer the more compact approach samsung took. Being able to type one handed on the Z fold 6 is actually refreshing thanks to the slightly more narrow outer display.

It depends. If Chinese OEMs can do better, so can Samsung. I don't need a top tier camera but I'd like something comparable to the Chinese offerings at least. There's really no excuse why a second world country gets better products
That's such a stupid statement. A smartphone is not just meant for phone calls, it's used for photography as well. That's like saying that if you want to calculate an equation, just get a calculator, not a phone with a calculator.
I am loving this device so much, but for camera thingz, I still use my iPhone 15 Pro Max. But for most things, I use this

The processing is better. The isp on the gen 3 chip improves it. Remember on smartphones, it's not just about the sensor.

I love mine! I kept it over my Samsung galaxy s24 ultra, it's a decent device! Install swiftkey for a decent sized keyboard.!
You can also resize the Samsung keyboard in settings.

Is like a tablet or pc, you can connect mouse and keyboard. Use in any monitor.

They say if you want better cameras go buy a camera 🤣🤣🤣 you pay 2k for a phone and want decent cameras and they tell you to stop crying when phones for less than half the price destroys this. They could've put the 23 ultra cameras in this and sold out! They could've put a wider screen and sold out. They could've put a s pen in it and sold out. Samsung dropped the ball period

Sale numbers are miserable per Samsung for the z6. Just only 270k+ units have sold world wide. People won't pay the $100 increase for horrible upgrades when there are a number of competitors now in the market. Google, One+, Magic to name a few. I have a zfold and won't upgrade to another Samsung because of bloatware. Samsung can't rest on their laurels which is what they have exactly done.
Dont get this unles you want to be forced into GOOGLE Meet instead of a natural video calling function. -_- Disgusting. You provide more features not less and being tracked by big brother.

Hear me out as a Samsung fanboy who still has rhe S24U, the Watch Ultra, and Tab U S9.
I am a power user. My phone almost is never off. Chinese phones do not thermal throttle as much meaning a more lag free experience. This matters to someone always cabled into the wall or watching youtube 24/7 while working.
The front screen. I know many people rationalize this away saying that one handed use it better, that a foldable doesnt need a big cover screen, etc. HOWEVER. There are times when I am in the office, walking in a crowded area, am driving, or other moments where it is just inconvenient to unfold the phone. During those times, having a more "normal" cover screen is essential and beats the narrow screen.
The front selfie camera. This phone has a wonderful selfie camera that is detailed, not blurry and "smudgy" with your face. I had this issue with my Fold 5 and from what I have been told they didn't really improve the cameras from last years model. The back camera is pretty decent as well. I dont use the back camera much, but when I do, it's really shined.
The charging speed. I believe this phone has 65W charging. Other chinese phones are even higher than that. When you get a taste of 65W charging and beyond, you honestly can't go back. It's a game changer.
The Chinese OS and fluidity is just so much better in my opinion, too.
The ONLY thing wrong with Chinese phones is their software isn't as polished as Samsung. Once they get that aspect down, it is game over. In my opinion it already is game over. I think Android Chinese OEMS are the next sleeping giants of the tech world.
I will not go back to Samsung phones until the above issues are addressed.
This is what I've been reading too and the only reason I haven't made the switch to a foldable yet - I'm currently in the Samsung ecosystem with Tab ultra and S22 ultra, but I used to use OnePlus and loved it. I do really like the idea of a foldable and if Samsung is not picking up their game I might have to go back to OnePlus...

None of that matters, given the high likelihood that the you will have problems with the internal screen within a year. Ridiculous. Samsung sells the Flip and Fold phones knowing that their internal screens are crap and WILL fail.

@scottgarbo1288 Cause I've never had a phone break. My first one was an Ericsson R280 2G. If it breaks... it gets fixed and the phone adds convenience to my life as I no longer need to carry a tablet in my bag.
