Personally I would first play the complete game. nothing compares to the first time you're struck with Awe. and in my opinion beeing a beta tester would brake that for me
The torch has the same size in both images, its just perspective, if you look closely you see the size is the same as in the previous image. And the size of the torch is good, its pretty accurate to irl actually in terms of size comparatively to the character , torches aren't small. But I prefer lamps, I hope there are carriable lanterns or lamps that you can carry in your hand instead of a torch
Gotcha, we've seen footage prior to this where the character is placing torches and they seem 1 block tall, I think perspective was for sure off in that new image
I would be highly interested in being a tester. I also signed up to the beta thingy and I'm also over 18, but I haven't heard anything since I signed up, so idk.
The time is coming closer with ever growing anticipation. I hope things for the team and everyone is going well. I saw testers and thought "aye I can (more like to) push games to the breaking point and would be grant to test." But I do not have the requirements (darn). But for now I will wait and hope and maybe if more entry level testers can help. Then I will hope to hop right on in. However for now! back to doing what I can to prepare for when hytale is released!
I’m saving up to get a pretty good gaming PC mainly for this game, I might have already posted a comment like this on a later video but I’m just going to do this again. Also thank you for giving us details about the game as more comes out and keep up the good work.

Two months ago they made a blog post to explain that they've started to rethink game's mechanics almost from scratch, that they're slowed by the pandemy, and that we won't have any news for a long time. And now they search testers and they release new screenshots ( _also from where ? Since there're no new blog post_ ). What is the real situation at Hypixel Studio ? Shall we finally expect a release of the beta version for this year or not at all ?
Their blog post explained that they HAD been rethinking the game's mechanics, not just started that moment. It was likely back when Riot acquired them, and they've been re-designing from the ground-up since, they acknowledged earlier in the year that the pandemic wouldn't effect them, so in the blog post that was them coming clean about it ACTUALLY effecting them. They release a new screenshot every week on twitter!

I want to start making Hytale content since ive been following the game for over 2 years, what do you guys think i should make the videos about? Theories, Ideas, Community Talk?
I just read a few old hytale blockposts where in one was mentioned that originally it was planned that you step by step first visit zone 1, then 2, then 3,... but they changed plan as now you can freeroam and spawn in every one of those zones from beginning. What do you think of this? I fear that this might lead to focus loss on each zone because you are not forced to deal with the zone and all the cool details of it. You could for example just skip mining or leveling in one zone because you can get the loot of the tier you are in in an other zone. You do not feel the need of viewing into every aspect of every zone which in my opinion is a change and punishment which these zones don´t deserve since they are awesome! Also by enabling freeroaming between zone 1 to 3 from beginning one major motivation of such openworld randomgenerated-map-based games is lost: The motivation of leveling or going on in the story to earn the possibility to see new parts of the world.
Not sure why but I am living for the clutter items. It is hard to make bases in Minecraft and similar games look lived-in. But that doesn't look like it will be an issue in Hytale.

I hope you can play as different species in Hytale, and each species should have their own strengths and weaknesses. For example a Kweebec, it has a smaller hit box, faster, but it's reach is not that far, and it's strength is lower than your average human.
You know there will be those people that want to reach out and be game testers to play the game early, but I'm gonna be smart and wait for the finished product. All my hours of just TESTING out mod combinations on Minecraft have told me: "Wait for something that doesn't need testing." NGL, I don't think I've even spent a full 20 minutes on survival gameplay with mods on cause I'm too busy making sure everything worked properly.

I love when people explain other people's brilliance. that's why I love crime and misery series(Murdoch Mysterie, Sherlock Holmes, Castle ext.), or that I loved no game no life

Your question of if the cosmetic was crafted or chosen gives me an idea, what if to unlock cooler and more elaborate collectibles you had to get the materials from a survival/story only world and craft an item that, when used, unlocks the certain collectible for use forever. To stop from skippig the grind they could implement a system like minecrafts (bedrock and xbox) where all acheivements are unobtainable if cheats or creative are enabled even once on the world. Could be a cool way to show that you're dedicated if there are some very difficult to create/obtain collectibles and would make creating a cool looking character much more rewarding, and dont forget all the mini challenges or crazy objectives they could add that have nothing to do with the story and are just fun or even conpletly unfair challenges that could be incentivised with a cool hat or pet!
I have never played a classical rpg, because they don't appeal to me that much, I always knew, that there must be a rpg that I really like, and I think hytale is that rpg I'm looking for
Alright, not to be the bearer of bad news but the tester is not some random guy which the devs are gonna give access to the game. It might seem obvious but I think some people didn’t fully understand. It’s not beta, and it’s not a player. Having said that, great vid as always!
A senior game tester is in fact in charge of testing the game, and it technically will be a random person, likely a random, but skilled and professional QA tester! :D

It 100% should be paid to play. Reduces hackers and honestly reduces chances for micro transactions. It should come out at $40 and will help with hacker problems.

That's a really cool idea, minecraft bedrock actually does that with emotes, you can earn them by completing achievements!
