I really like IDE like games like this, roblox, and VRChat where a lot of it is player created, shared, distributed, recreated.. Hope hytale can evolve or become similar with their built in tools.
I literally just thought about that the other day. Another dream is that if VR is developed for the game when eye-tracking VR Headsets come out, the eyes on our characters can reflect our real eyes. Though it is but a pipe dream.
It would be awesome if they give NPC's/Villagers like in Minecraft in Hytale more behavior patterns such as giving them the ability to build structures and houses on their own. Imagine coming across the beginning of a village being built by NPCs and you could also interact and help build with them. Probably requires a lot of coding, maybe close to impossible, but still would be cool.

Imagine a hardcore mode for hytale: No perma death, but you have thirst, Hostile mobs can destroy blocks to get to you (so a few dirt blocks and a door won't be enough) and you'll have to fortify and build defense like strong walls, spikes, etc.

I personally don't see them releasing this before summer, its definitely not going to be before the new minecraft update drops in spring, dropping the game right before minecraft resurges again would be marketing suicide
I'm so excited for this game! I have to admit, I judged this game just like I judged terraria originally, where I thought they were just rip offs of minecraft. I think I was just jealous at the time that they were better than minecraft, because I ended up loving terraria, and I cannot wait for this game! It has everything we've wanted in minecraft!
God I really hope they have cataloging features. Being able to map out everywhere you've explored, and keeping track of all the different species of animals/plants you've come across is a fever dream of mine. I'll probably enjoy it regardless, but having those things would complete the adventuring/exploration vibe this game gives me.
Well, considering sandbox minecraft like genre - craftable journal for that kind of stuff? Or at the very least someone can create a mod with such features

I wonder if talent trees and skills can be some how added. This can be interesting to work on. But That would require the ability to create and or customize UI. There is much to wait and hope for! But as I wait I am working on a board with ideas and data and there is ALOT to build and create. So much to research, test, and create and all the more reason to be hyped and ready. Hmmm the story part got my attention as I hope to write my own. Just abit aimless as to where or how to start it. But I think i have a idea and this might be a spoiler for the idea I have been mentioning and hoping to create. The Shadows dance and reach out from all edges of many worlds. Soon a new world is on the cusp of being created with many waiting, both good and evil. Tho it may not be known but some have already taken up to planning on taking root in this new born world... the world of hytale. The dark ones who could also be called the corruption. This force can twist any to their will and all for gathering greater power. I wonder how this world will hold against the endless darkness. Maybe there is already roots growing with the void, or maybe that is only the beginning. A few of the corrupted ones have already began to prepare. These would be the serpent riders, Dsparil, Korax, and Eidolon. They are fueled with determination to take over since their defeat long ago. But there is hope as forces of light has also taken notice of this new world and have sent some to aid thos willing to join them. Corvus, Baratus, Parias, and Daedolon have come to face them. But will they beable to help the heros born new? or will this new world be fallen into chaos. All are waiting for the gates to open with great anxiousness. There will be many more from both sides to raise up in this new ground. Who will claim victory? which side will be chosen? How will this new realm hold? All will be answered in time. But for now we must wait and prepare...as if all goes to plan then things can get very intense.

I know your thing is making Minecraft documentaries and covering Hytale news but have you considered playing Minecraft hardcore so you would have finished the hardest mode that Minecraft has to offer before Hytale releases? Something like: "I beat Minecraft Hardcore in 100 days before Hytale releases". Just a thought... :? Also great video man, as always! :)

I mean by that: if you choose so you can ignore their presence in the game or even play a role of evil character who despises everything good, small, and seemingly weak and it doesn't make game unplayable, or generally hinder gaming experience, I'm content with them". With that said I'll continue playing Dwarf Fortress, being whoever I want and whatever I want, while I wait for Hytale news from you and release of Hytale itself.
I don't know, all these new hires has me worried about the personality of Hytale. It's already started transitioning to a corporate feel and I'm willing to bet that the game will release around 2022 or 2023. I feel like it's about to be pushed out as less of a labor of love project and more of a large corporate revenue magnet. Not saying that's a bad thing, I just remember what happened to the soul of Minecraft after it was sold. I hope I'm wrong, but it went from being on the brink of release to suddenly being the product of a massive corporation, and being pushed to a point where it has no projected release date. Hopefully this just me looking too deep into this.
I hope when Hytale releases it is one time payment then you can play all you want I don’t want to pay 2.99 every time I want to change my avatar I also think it should cost about 25-40 as a good price range
I am playing Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild for the first time. If Hytale has anywhere near the scope and feel that BotW has, which it seems to, I will love it.

There's farming and domestication behaviours it seems, plus mounts!
