Traveling loop is also my favorite way to finish a hat too!
Thank you! I never tried or could really figure out the Magic loop. You explained it Sooo well & now I think I can do it! I love to make hats too! I just made a baby boy fisherman/ bucket hat with tiny fishes( with bubbles) & a baby girl sun hat with tiny flowers & leaves.. I also made Gary of Urban Designs Bush Tracker Beanie hat ( adult) & I loved how it turned out! I’m a new subscriber & love your upbeat way!
Love the explanation for traveling loop. I assume you can just cast on and join in the round. I'd probably use a string counter just to make sure where the beginning is in case I lose my way. Huh. Sorry, working this out with my typing before I do with my needles.
Yes. And I usually use some kind of string counter as well.
I wonder if traveling loop can be used on other small circumference projects, like gloves/mitts, socks?
Nevermind!
I’m struggling with magic loop on the sleeves of my first too down jumper and I think this is the solution.
