On this offiside issue, 3years ago UCL match between Man Uinted and Leipzig, Bruno played a pass to Rashford, Rashford is through on goal but he's running from his own half, the lines man raises his flag for offside but the ref doesn't whistle, Rashford scores eventually (an you could argue the Leipzig players fell of a bit because of the raised flag) VAR checked the goal after the sequence and Rashford wasn't offside because he started the run from his own half.....the Madrid Lines man knew what he was doing
