EPL is still the best league. Irrespective of their performance this season and maybe the last like Atsu said they have won more in the last 5 years and seasons they lost those teams that kicked them out have gone on to win it which will be the likely case this season too (Bayern/Madrid and both took out English teams) and also scheduling of EPL games is very important. EPL has some of the worst schedules and that affects the teams more than the other teams. You can’t overlook that. Recently Klopp and Pep were complaining about that. It’s not a fluke. Again like i said last episode: Bayern can actually go on to qualify at the Bernabeu. They were wasteful in the first leg tho esp that Leroy Sane chance seconds into kickoff. If Bayern doesnt make it it will come down to those little key chances that were missed just like Saka did for Arsenal in the dying mins of that 2-2 draw at the Emirates.

Guys thanks so much. God Bless you Felix Romark made some cash from your odds. Girona to win over 3.5, Liverpool to win over 4.5, Leverkusen over 3.5, Chelsea to win over 2.5 and Palmer to score, Manchester City to win and Haaland to score to score. Stuttgart straight win over Bayern. Let me have his momo number 😆
Are you talking about the best league or the best performances on the continent? Two different things guys. If you ask a question of who has the best league, it should be what transpires in their leagues that make it better. With how the discussion was going, it is rather answering the question (Which league teams perform better in Europe). Again, these are two separate things.
EPL is competitive, La Liga is the best league in the world minus branding. La Liga teams are not only competitive in the European Competitions but it is the league that has produced more Balon Dor and The Best winners.
What Atsu is doing is what Sitso and Coach did on the episode of Pep's Barca team and Zidane's Madrid team which one was the best. The conversation is about the best league in Europe, and you want to narrow it down to only CL. How??
Comparing the best league by using solely the champions league is a bit deviation….compare the league how strong the league is..how marketabl..how competitive in Europe ….how competitive….and EPL stand tall
Premier League has never been the best . To lay hold of the claim that you are the best means there is a standard you are comparing it to. If that standard is La liga then there is no way you can put epl above La liga. La liga teams have proven to be more of a threat in international competitions than the epl teams. When Leicester won the epl we saw what happened in the ucl. However, Villarreal or Sevilla don’t need to win La liga to make an impact in the European competitions.
Think about EPL and La Liga teams in Europe. Sevilla rules Europa, Real rules UCL and these teams lash the EPL teams in Europe. In La Liga, Barcelona and Real are the overlords because these two on a good day will be top 2 in almost every league in the world. Check the Villarreals and Valencias, Sevillas and ATMs against the EPL people.
EPL is still the best league. Watching the podcast after the weekend and I must say Atsu had every single prediction comfortably wrong.
Madrid and Barcelona dnt fall to the Europa because they are the only two teams even if they mess up….Its the competition in the league
No english team has beaten a spanish team in any european competition for 23 years.

The reason why super league didn't stand was bcos English big boys were not in the discussion.

Even the coaches doing well in the EPL are Spanish
Spain.
10/11
11/12
12/13
13/14
14/15
15/16
16/17
For seven consecutive seasons Spain had 2 or more teams in the Semis and played finals twice.
How about Epl top coaches? Alot of them are Spanish. i.e. La Liga coaches "loaned" by premiership(Guardiola, Arteta, Emery)
Are you talking about the best league or the best performances on the continent? Two different things guys. The conversation is about the best league in Europe, and you want to narrow it down to only CL. How??
This argument hmm, I think having the Best league and having the best performing teams in European competitions are two VERY DIFFERENT things
Over 30minutes and one of your panelist hasn't been given the opportunity to make a submission. Sitso this your hosting dier SOMEWAY ooo
Comparing the best league by using solely the champions league is a bit deviation….compare the league how strong the league is..how marketabl..how competitive in Europe ….how competitive….and EPL stand tall
No and Never
Tottenham has scored Madrid before
Yh. Ebe true., Tottenham score Madrid at the group stage.
Premier League has never been the best . To lay hold of the claim that you are the best means there is a standard you are comparing it to. Premier League is only popular because of the commercialization and the influx of African star players .
Think about EPL and La Liga teams in Europe. Sevilla rules Europa, Real rules UCL and these teams lash the EPL teams in Europe.
