Love all the breakdowns in this song. This was my first favorite BMTH song, back in 2006. I actually like the new stuff, but only because I know they aren't going to go back to their roots so there's just no point hating what they are doing now for the sake of it. I can't help liking it, although I'd love for them to produce something as good as Count Your Blessings again.
Couldn't have said it any better myself, except I discovered this music a year and a half ago cx it was my friends fav band and he showed me and I'm like "this is cooler than anything I've ever heard" before I didn't like music at all
I love how there are all these haters hating on his new stuff because he doesn't scream like this anymore but he blew his vocals cords for fucking sake xD
Exaactly! Oli said he hated recording screaming, that he used to puke all the time for screaming from 10am to 1am. I wish he could still scream but he just can't
Giannis Georgiou You are aware that Angel of Death was written like 20 years before this song? So it's Slayer having an influence on BMTH, not the other way round.
im not saying that their new stuff isnt great because im a huge fan of the band (yes even after sempiternal) and i do think that this album is so much more superior. especially this song.
One of the things is that Oli blew out his voice because he was screaming at the top of his lungs, which will fuck up your voice, the tactic behind screaming is to let the mic take care of the sound, not actual yelling
I think what Happened to Oli is the same as what happened to Corey from Slipknot. Corey's scream was so freaking good in the studio record and Amazing live back in the Days of their Iowa album(Early 2000's) He got Sober later on and his screams weren't as good. I saw a Video of him during a Q&A and he got asked what happened to his screams. He said he got sober and he actually wants to be more melodic. On Slipknots latest album, Corey sounds the way he was in the past in the recorded version, but not so good live because he's old now lmao. I guess that's what happened to Oli along with other factors. I wouldn't be surprised if he damaged his vocal chords as well. I can't comment much on that because I haven't seen a Interview or a legit statement that it is true.
Gin Gin Gin in the Demo version Bedroom Sessions Dead Dead Dead in the re-recorded Album version (aka this one) The guy who made the video said Da Da Da... idk why
ikr I loved every album except thats the spirit I even have sempiternal as one of my favourites but tts just sounds so generic and like not new in any way
+Blurry cat yeah like count your blessings writing was a little inmature. but in suicide season it was very personal and heartfelt and it got better from there but thats the spirit was kindof tween pop
bmth was always good... if you like deathcore.. cool I like it to... ppl are just to scared that the band they loved has grown up..... and they won't grow up with them
Its da da da to the video maker, Dead dead dead in the real album and gin gin gin in the demo for christ's sake
This actually clears up a lot, thank you.

3:38 woah.. Sometimes I wish they'd do some more deathcore, but I don't bitch about it in every fb and TH-cam comment section, like eh.. Some people.
I only ever liked this song and Tell Slater Not To Wash His Dick, but goddamn the riff at 2:21 is groovy as hell.

Exaactly! Oli said he hated recording screaming, that he used to puke all the time for screaming from 10am to 1am. I wish he could still scream but he just can't
true
That's his fault for not taking care of his voice, listen to cannibal corpse , lead singer can still scream after so many albums.
Vintage BMTH - reminding us all why they were so exciting 13 years ago...those vocals are just amazing.
I used to listen to classic rock and then my friend showed me this band and I was wonder what the hell I was missing
That 2:02 riff is totally similar to Slayer's Angel of death
Shows some big influence Bmth used to have on slayer
Glad I want the only one who heard it haha. Such a cool riff.
isaacna2000ayahoocom Yep!
i hear bullet for my valentines similarities in the riff around 4th minute aswell haha
+TheBlink247 shit I hear that, it sounds like tears don't fall if I'm recalling that riff correctly
Giannis Georgiou You are aware that Angel of Death was written like 20 years before this song? So it's Slayer having an influence on BMTH, not the other way round.
The song of my feelings, sadness and depression
I'm in fucking love.
Love that song and love that band so much and personally I think they're still amazing.
his screams and growls on this album are orgasm inducing

im not saying that their new stuff isnt great because im a huge fan of the band (yes even after sempiternal) and i do think that this album is so much more superior. especially this song.

Rosemary Moreno Indeed. Combination of tapping and almost emotional screaming followed by an even more emotional riff to end the song.

I think what Happened to Oli is the same as what happened to Corey from Slipknot. +Commander Swagvala He wrecked his vocal cords on suicide season
oli always sucked live
Don't be scared homie..
Commander Swagvala Well Ollie didnt really start drugs and alchohol during CYB era... I believe it was around suicide season/There is a hell
Edgelord69 he was on ketamine during the production of this album, and I think even 'This is what the edge of your seat was made for"
2:12 he walked her home because gas prices in the UK are too outrageous to drive

bmth was always good... if you like deathcore.. cool I like it to... ppl are just to scared that the band they loved has grown up..... and they won't grow up with them
yup, cuz growing up is making music for 16 years old girls.
+Nicolás Romero 死体 this was there way of saying goodbye and it isn't XD just bcuz ur used to metal XD
Changing and growing up have different meanings, especially if they "grew up" to make music for whiny teenage 14 year-old fangirls
