you sir have made my eternity. I can now die happy and peacefully. Someone else notices this overweight "emo" gentleman, was running in place like he was running to get his razor after his mom told him he couldn't dye his hair pink.....we thank you!
False, Nick Barham (the guy screaming in this video) replaced Austin after he left. Later Nick left the band and that's when Caleb Shomo (Keyboards on this video) took over screams. Nick Barham never recorded any official vocals with Attack Attack! thoe, only a demo of Sexual Man Chocolate but that's about it. So the debut album is all on Austin.
+Owen Keener the guy screaming in this video is Nick Barham. Caleb is on keyboards in this video, if you don't believe me look up Stick Stickly behind the scenes of the first music video they did on this song, because this is the second one in case you didn't know. Plus Caleb Shomo was THE ONLY KEYBOARD PLAYER IN ALL ATTACK ATTACK! HISTORY. There's a keyboardist in this video. Which means it's Caleb Shomo. and for Fuck's sake you can clearly tell it's Nick screaming just google pictures of him and you can CLEARLY TELL IT'S HIM.
You honestly gotta be fucking kidding me if you think Nick Barham(The guy who appears in this video) is Austin Carlile. For fuck's sake please tell me you're joking. I'm done arguing here. I already stated the facts. Let the posers speak for themselves.
I remember making fun of these guys with my punk/metal friends years ago. I think we were just flabbergasted by what we saw. These guys were a full decade plus ahead of the curve. They've even got cool moves! The synchronized guitar flip over the head is objectively cool. The running in place not so much.
Happy 10th birthday to CRABCORE, AKA the Attack Attack album that introduced Austin Carlile and Caleb Shomo to the world. Released the same day as the debut from La Dispute, too.
The fact that this band broke off to create or be part of the creation of three other successful bands in OM&M, Bilmuri, Beartooth, AND also continues on themselves is not talked about enough.

Me checking whether its the same song or TH-cam autoplay it.
This is called eletronicore
this is called crabcore
I also didn't expect that the guy playing that part was Caleb Shomo (I'm assuming this is pre-Beartooth)
@@davidnissim589 Caleb was 14 in this lol
Benefit of the crab stance: you can play guitar and take a dump at the same time
Made me lol so hard I woke someone up
+Sein Schatten Doesn't shitting still require one to spread their ass or no
+TheDust69 it'll get through
+Sein Schatten Those skinny jeans are under so much stress
You forgot colonoscopies and fapping in between transitions
2009 - head banging in a car with all my scene friends
2019- lightly heading banging quietly while doing the dishes and yelling at my kids
same but sitting in at an office desk.
Greatest comment I've seen so far Haha could say the same about a lot of the great metalcore bands of this time!
Lightly headbanging while putting my kid to bed haha
@Benjamin Mazun do they exist at this days?
Hahaha this is the realest comment on TH-cam!
Just think of the talent that came out of this band though - Caleb (Beartooth), Johnny (Bilmuri), and Austin (Redacted, Of Mice and Men) ... they got so much hate when this first dropped, but man did they hold a lot of talent
This video is a national treasure
You're totally wrong. It is a treasure for all of humankind in the entire world!!
Attack Attack haters: this sucks lol
Attack Attack fans: this sucks lol
Attack Attack fans: this is great
Attack Attack haters: this is great
Me after watching this 2050th time: eww, why did people even listened to this? This is such a crap lol.
People lying to themselves: "this sucks lol"
We love it lmao
I laughed outloud reading this. Thank you.
It's reached a point where I've stopped listening to this ironically, and now just listen to it because I enjoy it...
I'm honestly getting to that point too 😬
I laugh at this comment every single time I pass by during my daily viewing lol
Lol that happened to me 2
Lol
It does take time to accept that Cher is singing in a deathcore song. Then you’re kind of “actually... this sounds alright”.
Watched this for the first time yesterday. I start my chemo tomorrow. Wish me luck.
wish u all the best buddy
Good luck Friend!
Just don't forget you got turboswag, you got this
Producer: "How much Autotune do you want for the clean singing?"
Singer: "Yes"
These days every djent band is doing the same. It's sounds so gay. And they call themselves prog. They are shit.
"How much crab do you want"
Singer: yes
@daniel o'meara listen to daath - dead on the dancefloor and you might want to reevaluate that statement
Surprisingly, that vocalist has a solo project at the moment that is extremely good. He actually has a really good voice lol... Dont know why they went with autotune. th-cam.com/video/n1vSexs2glE/w-d-xo.html
He actually has a song poking fun at all the cringey music videos of the scene at the time. Including this one which had him in it th-cam.com/video/vEyanfuxQPY/w-d-xo.html
riffs - 0

infant annihilator should make a cover don't @ me
Don’t forget autotune, synth, and drum machine. By the way, the riffs are actually 000 000 0 000 haha
craaaab people craaaab people
electro core

Mom can we have Beartooth?
Mom: we have Beartooth at home.
Beartooth at home: **crabcore intensifies**
I love this haha
This is better than Beartooth
BEARTOOTH SLAPS HARD AS FUCK THO
@@JohnPitters youre comparing an apple with a peach
This band is an Electronicore/Post-hardcore band
Beartooth is melodic hardcore
Both bands do their own thing
Nothing to compare here
Kuba J you’re not getting the joke. this was Caleb shomo’s band before beartooth
This is fun song. I like it. I didn’t grow up with neither boomer rock, nor nu metal or this. So there is no nostalgia factor for me, all of mentioned types of music have it’s appeal. Good songs don’t need scene or label, just audience to enjoy them.
So many layers to this video i don't know where to begin i mean the crabcore stance is iconic but the chubby dude running on the spot dance move was always a personal fav of mine 10 years on still making me lol . That poor lady as well why are they screaming at her? and that electronic breakdown outa fucking nowhere at the end truly visionary.
ahahhaha I love youuu!!
you sir have made my eternity. I can now die happy and peacefully. Someone else notices this overweight "emo" gentleman, was running in place like he was running to get his razor after his mom told him he couldn't dye his hair pink.....we thank you!
That crabcore though
deep.
@@cingkobrasfjcan you shut the fuck up the emo joking shit has been used over and over it's been played out and its unfunny by now bro.
Came here from Bilmuri's myfeelinngshavefeelings video where Johnny Franck photoshopped his face over his own face from this video. Pretty meta.
All hail keyboard guy. He got into the band with headbanging being his only skill.
later he took over screams, after Austin left
+RacinUltimatum Caleb Shomo?
Rest of the song: pretty good crabcore
2:46 - 3:20: absolute musical perfection and the best thing my ears can ever hear
one of the songs ever made
@@3badthebad best too
@@3badthebad Truly a music video of all time
tbh I like listening to scene shit every now and then, gives me nostalgia
Honestly some of the better years of my life
The fact that this band broke off to create or be part of the creation of three other successful bands in OM&M, Bilmuri, Beartooth, AND also continues on themselves is not talked about enough.
Just recently got back into Bilmuri and I literally explained this to my wife not five minutes ago. I love it man
