In the meanwhile, Microsoft has released version 24H2 of Windows 11, which requires a bit of a different approach. Ok and i used also this method but i already downloaded the Dutch ISO file and it works 100 precent ! Next time i will use this method ! Thanx ! We call this the Rufus method !😅
I've read forum posts suggesting Windows 11 requires UEFI but it seems like it will still install and boot to an MBR style partition after all, allowing people to run Win11 on first- or second-gen Intel Core i5/i7 PCs, or even Core 2-era PCs without much trouble, if they really wanted to. Maybe even older PCs. At 11:58 it's odd that Disk Management shows the new partition on the USB as "RAW" despite you just formatting it as NTFS.
I am unable to download the Windows 11 ISO thru Rufus, I keep getting an error message, I downloaded the ISO from Microsoft but I am not getting the options pop-up as in your video
I just tried it it won't work, due to I can't download windows 11 from (Download Windows 11 Disk Image (ISO) for x64 devices) it says error, I tried downloading from the second option to usb drive Microsoft now download a little app first to check your system
It depends. If there is a key in the BIOS, it will use that key. My machine has a home key tied to it. If there is no key, it will ask you for the key and edition. If there is a pro ley in the bios, it will be the pro version
Windows can't be installed in this unit? and when i go to see further details it says that this disc could be faulty and try installing windows on some other disk
update: i tried to install it anyway and now it keeps repeating the same process infinitely and if i take the bootable usb out and restart the pc it says that the windows installation was incomplete so i need to reinstall it properly
Hi Jends, I previously updated my desktop from w10 to w11 using unsupported instructions and was working great. I had an issue the other day and PC now won't start up in Windows. I am downloading w11 onto USB for a fresh install, I'm just wondering if this will work OK or would I need to reinstall w10 and then go back through the w11 unsupported update process again.
Installed fresh using instructions on video for rufus. Hopefully no more crashes but at least I have the install media on my USB should I need it. Thanks again.
Mishap when I was connecting everything up and PC shut down due to power outage and once more is not functioning as should. So hopefully today I will get it at least to Windows after hard disk file repairs and go back to the system restore point I set. I'm not sure if you can do a Windows reset if this doesn't fix the issue or whether I need to do a full fresh install again.
Well been a bit of a saga with the old Aspire x1930. Turns out after doing a smart test my hard drive was high risk failure. So I have installed a replacement SSD instead and Windows 11 installed and all subsequent software and back up documentation. Running great again after a fresh install using Rufus. I also just got my 12 year old HP laptop back from repair this week, the cooling fan was full of fluff so that's also running smoothly on W11 as well now. Time for a technology rest.
bro please make a video for when start the pc it shows intel initializing and many more text on every start up late staart i want when i start up pc it shows only dell logo and windows logo not any extra text plz tell me?
Check your boot order. Looks like it is configured to first attempt to do a network boot. How to do this, is different for every machine/type. Typically it is somewhere in the BIOS setup.
Not sure why you decided to use a bootable USB drive to upgrade, its more safe to do this from within Windows. For your trackpad, just make sure that you have all latest drivers (check Windows Update or install them manually).
Are you trying to use a hard disk to run the installer from? There is an option to show all devices in Rufus. It only shows USB drives by default (to prevent you from deleting data on a regular drive by accident)
while this is informative, I still think a much superior method of installing Windows 11, is to just use a premade iso like Ghost Spectre. Not only are all the hardware checks removed, but so too are all the nefarious features of Windows 11 that slow the system down and track your data. The result is a clean, fast, lightweight Windows 11 install that is much better than the standard Microsoft iso.
Thank you very much can you maybe build a budget build for me for like 200 euros I will pay and I live in belgium please send me back if you want to do it for me😊

Amazing content as before. You are giving us valuable informations. With the help of your methods I am now on Windows 11 23H2 version. Thank you.
Worked for me on W11 pro 22H2. Thanks a lot!!

Fantastic!
I believe that they have now updated the MCT and it now produces 23H2 isos as well. It was delayed for some reason.
Thanks for the info, will give this a try :)
@@jensdbe Ok I can confirm. MCT created ISO from Ventoy, had to add "AllowUpgradesWithUnsupportedTPMorCPU" in MoSetup key.
Good video!
Great job!
That works!👍👍
I am unable to download the Windows 11 ISO thru Rufus, I keep getting an error message, I downloaded the ISO from Microsoft but I am not getting the options pop-up as in your video
Yes same here
After retrying it completed
I have a question, what is better downloading windows 11 afresh or upgrade from windows 10?
I have an issue please guide me, my issue is load driver missing please fix my issue im getting stuck 😭

Hmm... I tried to create the bootable usb drive from Rufus but it's blocked and has an error msg. Any suggestions?
The usb stick is blocked? Do you perform another task in this usb drive before? And works before or not? Do you try with another usb drive?
Do you think the update version will work on a Acer Aspire
VN7-791G-755C - Laptop?
Should work fine as far as I can see
If you have to use the ISO method, then your method only installs the "Home" edition. How ca a "Pro" edition be updated using the ISO method please

update 2: if i start up the pc without inserting the bootable usb it says error 1962, no os found. ive got a lenovo aio
If I download Windows 11 iso from Microsoft, and use dvd for installation. Will the registry hack work for 23H2
Yes, that should work. That's what I tested in a VM.

@@jensdbe thanks, seems my PC won't boot from usb when I select to boot from removable device so will need to put it on dvd

As far as I know the S20 does not support UEFI
