Congrats on 1 million Liah! 🥳 ❤️
Thanks Nat!!
Damn, I'm already addicted to the primera miracle seed essence- now I've got something else to try. You are honestly my no.1 trusted source, my skin has improved so much
The miracle seed essence is bomb🥺💚
Also I know everyone hates drunk elephant because their customer service sucks but their retinol is pretty good. Also the Sunday Rilley A+ retinol blend are both stronger but also non-irritating
Liah Yoo Hi, I want to know does retinol makes skin sensitive to sun? Also can cause pigmentation? Please reply thank u so much for all your informative videos, love 💓 💓
i know my comment came so late but yeah the primera miracle seed essence is my go to right now. im an oily gal but that could go thru my skin even after 7 times layering on the skin. its amazinggg
You said that your pores looks more visible when you hit 30. I'm 23 and my pores literally visible. Lucky you, Liah :')
My pores were visible since 16 =))) So lucky you
You just have large pores, technically you were born like that but if you take care of yourself your skin will look nicer. I'm like that too
Same and I’m 19
Mine 20 :’))
LIAH i was literally just searching for anti aging skincare tips for beginners these past few days! Im only 20 and am already starting to see fine lines (talk about dry skin issues) 😭😭 Thank you so much for this video!!
Aw hopefully you'll see some good results with the product you choose! Always wear sunscreen too xx
@@LiahYoo hello Liah, I have being using Ole Henriksen Glow cycle Retin alt power serum and I'm concerned by how high Phenoxyethanol is on the list, I asked Ole Henriksen about this but they weren't helpful at all, their answer was basically just trust us... What do you think about this?
@@worldofelegance15 phenoxyethanol is only allowed to be at concentration 1% or less.
@@monamalek2 I know that is supposed to be that way but I still didn't like how high it was and that they couldn't even reassure me about it
@@worldofelegance15 the fact that it's this high means all the ingredients after it are in very low concentration under 1%. Nothing to worry about! Also watch liah's last video.
I'm literally just watching your old videos about self care and a week in your life video to keep myself motivated and inspired and you suddenly uploaded a new one 😍 love you Liah! Thank you so much😭
Aw thanks Johnson!!
Liah Yoo can I use the retinol you talked about with Q10 ??
@@Lily-have i use Q10 in the morning and retinol every 3rd night.
can't believe you've reached 1 million! I hope your channel continues to thrive as more people learn about skincare!
For vitamin C, I love and use Maelove The Glowmaker. I'm 60! I cannot tolerate high strength retinols and definitely not retinoic acid but I'm now trying Paula's Choice 3% retinol with 02% bakuchiol. I cannot go higher than a 3% retinol, 3-4x per week. I've used retinol since my 30's. I love antioxidants to keep my skin healthy and always used Replenix Power of Three serum and now using NIOD Survival 0. I round out my routine with niacinamide, a weekly acid peel, a clean skin barrier repair cream, Biossance Omege 3 Repair Cream and now trying Hylamide Subq. I'm impressed with your calming and very informative video's. You're very knowledgeable and beautiful.
Thank you for posting Liah!!! Also, I love the simplicity of your brand. There are just way too many products out there. Please don’t ever change. Thank for you giving us exactly what we need! 🙌🏻❤️
Yes thank you Liah
I am 37 and have all the aging problems :( I have had horrible vitamin c reactions in the past but really wanted to find something to improve collagen around my acne scars. I started using Dr. Dennis Gross and have had no issues so far, been using for about two months now.
I'm 23 and on Retin-A for acne (have been using retinoids for over a year now), but my first anti-aging product was sunscreen! hehe that aside, I used to smoke cigarettes a lot from 19-22 and it aged my skin quite a bit. I quit smoking and my skin has been getting more taught ever since, especially now that I'm on Retin-A.
My first anti-aging product was the inkey list 1.5% retinol serum, and I love it! I've been using it for a few weeks, still have a bit of purging left, but I love it. It's made my skin look so bright, the texture is improving and wow the difference in my pores is insane!
I loved this video ❤️ I think I definitely need to try the inkey list Q10 serum. I'm currently layering a vitamin C serum and the inkey list alpha arbutin serum, for added brightness and PIH fading.
How often do you use it?
I'm 27 and starting at 25 with anti aging products, but mostly ones with whitening properties. For Vitamin C, I like the Inkey list one, they have a 15% one with EGF which is good and a 30% one. I have used both and the 15% one is easier to apply
I also really struggle with finding a good vitamin c. I started using the Inkey list q10 a month ago and it performs so well and is very hydrating! Highly recommend to anyone with dry or sensitive skin.
If vitamin C serums are a little too harsh for your skin, I hear the dear, Klairs one is a great starter at only 5% concentration:)
Alexandra Prassas Great thank you! I always love to share experience and find new products.
Evan Allbritton goodal green tangerine vita c serum 💜
amyayay thank you guys so much! I’ll look into these :)
Congratulations Liah for reaching 1 millions subscribers! We, the palmpalmfam are so happy! 🎉😆❤️
Thanks for being a huge part of it!
I love love love Summer Fridays vitamin c serum. I believe it is based in squalane and it helps sooth, hydrate and brighten my skin. I always notice a difference when I stop using it it's like my skin is begging for a drink of water. I do notice the color oxidize over time even though I make sure to seal the cap between uses which is my only complaint but it doesn't seem to irritate my skin even if it does oxidize a little.
I was browsing for how to start on tretinoin all this afternoon and now I see you uploading this?! Hallelujah 😅💕
Thank you so so much Liah, you literally became by dermatologist because your precious and accurate information finally got me free from acne and tought me how to take care of my skin in the best possible way. I will always be thankful. ❤️❤️❤️🙏
Two days ago I tried my first retinol product: Paula’s Choice 0.3% retinol + 2% bakuchiol. I have dry skin and am 51 years old. I now have some flaking at the corners of my mouth/chin and have had some spots/redness. I rarely get spots, but I do have a red nose. Yesterday I did a BHA exfoliation (Paula’s choice) that perhaps I should have waited another day or two to do. My skin felt super dry and I kept reapplying moisturizer during the night. I must say, though that my pores around my nose look smaller and that some of the sebaceous filaments on my chin cleared up! I’ll try again, but a week at the earliest and see how my skin reacts to that!
Btw, I love your videos, your Krave products (I have them all except the moisturizer-sold out), and I especially love your TikTok videos! 👏❤️👏❤️👏
Would like to know how you are doing with Paula's 0.3%. I'm 60 and have used retinols since my 30's but cannot ever tolerate anything more than a 0.3%. I just bought the new one with bakuchiol and started it this week.
First anti-aging ingredient was Glycolic Acid - and that was when I was in my thirties. The product I used was Jan Marini Bioclear cream (AHA/BHA blend). At medi-spa received monthly 70% glycolic peels. Received so many compliments on my skin back then. Now in my forties and using Retin-A, harder to use AHAs daily (b/c of sensitivities from Retin-A), but still try to fit them in 3 times per week. Still use Bioclear, too :)
Thank you Liah for posting this video. It was perfectly timed for me, because I’m in my mid 30s and starting to see some lines and pores. I started researching yesterday about anti-aging. I browsed many videos but I just wanted your suggestions because you educate us first before you suggest anything. Lo and behold I opened TH-cam today and this video popped up. God surely knows my heart. God bless you my dear. Keep up the good work. ❤️
Omg! God bless you too💚
Started using niacinimide as antiaging when I was 25 super favorite ingredient, but now I'm looking to add retinol
Love Bakuchiol. Almost done with my Herbivore Bakuchiol serum and I think it does keep the fine lines at bay. None of them have come out yet despite being in my late 20s!
Congratulations on 1 million subscribers! Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us- I've learnt so much from you over the past few months!
That means a lot! Thank you so much 💚💚
I’m in my mid 20s and I just started using vitamin C serum from Klairs 2 weeks ago. So far so good! Love my skin complexion and I feel that it did brighten my uneven skin tone. I use it together with Klairs Vitamin E mask every night.
New NEOGEN vitamin C is satisfying, I think you'll like that, watery, non-sticky, fast absorbing and I have no irritation since my skin is quite sensitive
Melano CC is a good vitamin C skin product i use from japan. The packaging is airtight and it's not made out from clear bottle, therefore, won't wear out the vit- C concentrate
the naturium vitamin c is so good. its texture so nice.
Being waiting for your new video. Love everything you have done for your Chanel and just listening to your voice is made me happy and calm. Everything come from your beauty within.
You’re so kind Tina! Thank you
Congratulations Liah, for 1 million subscribers❤ love you!
The Ordinary retinoids have worked wonders for me. I’ve also used Michelle’s (labmuffinbeautyscience) recipe for DIY vitamin C serum, adding glycerin and TO’s Resveratrol. My skin has never looked better 😊
My first product was differin which has adapalene. Super gentle, but effective! Love it
I like the ordinary ascorbic acid 8% + alpha arbutin 2% !! ❤❤ and I have VERY sensitive skin and acne prone skin. It is a bit oily so I like to use it in the morning
Thank you Liah. I am in my early 20s, I was thinking cooperating vitamin C and A in my skincare routine, but now I won't. Thank you. I love your videos.
Happy 1 Million subscriber again, Liah 💚🌴
Thanks Vince!
YAY!!! You're back!!! Hope you're doing well in this complicated time. 💕💕
I hope so too!
My first anti age product was vitamin C serum 🍊 But I recently started trying the REN anti age moisturizer with bakuchiol. Excited to see if it works ✨
My first anti-aging skincare product was prescription Adapalene for acne scarring. I find it quite drying (it was very drying in the beginning, for the first month), but as long as the rest of my skincare routine is very hydrating I find that it works well. I use The Ordinary NMF, and Hada Labo products for hydration and sun protection.
I have dry, sensitive skin. And products that I would recommend are:
Vitamin C: Oz natural (20% SAP), Mad Hippie, Andalou Tumeric C serum, Klairs Fresh Juice (5% LAA)
Retinol: Skinmedica 0.25%, Dermalogica 0.5%, PTR pm Fusion oil (1.5% micro encapsulated)
Hi Liah!🙂 I’m currently using Some By Mi’s Galactomyces Vitamin C Serum. However, I recently ordered Goodal’s Green Tangerine Vitamin C Serum. Burt’s Bees also has a bakuchiol line. I use Glow Recipe’s Avocado Melt Retinol Sleeping Mask, which has encapsulated retinol. It has never caused irritation on my skin.
i super missed your uploads yeyyy thanks for this. i have never clicked a notification so fast!! love you liah and your brand!! ❤️
Thank you!! I missed YT too
My first ant aging product was The Ordinary Greanactive emulsion 2%. It's fantastic and so gentle.
I agree!
Hi Liah! I have discovered this vitamin c product maybe probably around a year ago, so far I find it works well and did somewhat brighten and even my hyperpigmentation on my skin! It does have some fragrance in it but so far it didn't irritate my skin, even tho I think my skin might be slightly sensitive to fragrances... this product is called Melano CC, I believe they are under hada labo, as I've seen them being related to hada labo... their container is designed to be airtight with a nozzle, plus the tube is also not see through, to prevent it from oxidising... when I squeeze out the product it looks clear and with an oily texture. I hope you see this comment because I'm curious of your view on this product ☺️
if you want a stronger retinol, the drunk elephant’s is very effective & i’ve found it to be pretty easy to tolerate, even for my boyfriend who has super sensitive skin.
Just started Versed Retinol this week. I read this is a beginner-friendly retinol you incorporate to a skincare routine. I hope this works!
great tips and I especially appreciate your poise and demeanor when speaking! Even if you mention the same stuff another person's video may mention...
idk why, but the way you speak and deliver information is very elegant and I feel like I'm in a safe space which gets me to tune in even more. and the takeaway from that is that you should keep posting more content even if it's been touched on before by another content creator! It's wild you have over 1m subs already, when I subbed you were definitely no more than like 35k! Keep it up and I look forward to trying some Krave products when I finally need to replace something lol
Do you mean to say that her usp is her demeanor...and you repeatedly said that she talks about things which may have been said by others.
Well she is probably the best when it comes to skincare influencers...she actually knows what she is talking about.
If Hyram can have over 4 million subscribers...I find it weird that she has only over 1 million subscribers.
She doesn't gossip or overact...her skin condition tells that she knows more about skincare than others.
James Welsh also follows her.It does seem he has ruined his skin with too many products.
She doesn't just do product reviews...she talks about overall skin health.
@@popopopa1719 I don't get the point of your reply and you don't even make sense when trying to criticize me (if that's what that was). You are also a hypocrite because everything you said about her has also already been said by other commenters.
p.s. my comment is over a year old so you're a bit late
Congratulations on over 1 Million subscribers. Wow. I love Krave brand. Would y’all consider making an antioxidant serum with Q10, green tea, and rice, honey (all the goodies)!!?
Yaaay 1 million 🎉🎉🎉 soooo well deserved!! 💗😊
I've been using the strongest retina a prescription for months now, if you go abroad to certain countries you can get it over the counter, and in the first weeks of using it it really irritated my skin, but to be honest you just have to suck it up and deal with it for a few weeks/ months and now I get hardly any irritation at all
I could watch the same videos and never get tired of you, bless your knowledge thank you for changing my skin 🙏💖
I recently bought the Ghost Democracy Lightbulb vit C serum and I just started using it so I can’t talk about the results but the ingredients are great and the formula feels great too
I'm addicted to primera now because your recommendation liah.. loves it
Amazing!
Thank you, Liah! I will give these a try. I've been getting more fine lines as I'm aging and am in my late 20s.
I love my Make P:rem C-10 serum with 10% ascorbic acid and other great ingredients in it. Highly recommend :)
I use the Tree of Life products. Their vitamin c and retinol products work perfectly fine and cost less than these ones. Plus, they're easier to get a hold of.
I use the Soma Ayurvedic Vitamin C serum and also the anti-aging cream. I have been enjoying both so far! You should try it, Liah 😊
I started with the Cocokind Bakichiol and love it. Such a nice smooth texture, feels luxurious to put on before bed. I almost don’t want to trade it in for an actual retinol, but know I probably should.
Stratiaskin C + C serum so far the only vit c serum that my skin don’t react to. Thanks for sharing this Liah. Stay safe and healthy always 😊
Omg my interest has piqued!!
@@LiahYoo Would love to hear your thoughts if you try them. And pls pls do share any Vit C serum that you love in future. Thank you :) Take care and stay safe :)
You are the best on TH-cam when it comes to skincare and explanations on ingredients and conditions. I wish you shipped Krave Beauty to Canada. For now I will have to find alternatives but know when you do I will purchase ASAP.
omg! you have finally hit 1M, Liah!! that's massive! I've been a fan since 2018. Love you and your informative yet fun videos! You were one of the reasons as to why I run a skincare Instagram account. Wish you abundance and safety and positive energies. Here to show support and love, now and always :-)
Amazing!! Always welcoming new peep on our skincare community xx
You gotta try the vitamin c serum from cipher. It's a very underrated brand that is cruelty-free, fragrance-free, E.O free and they're also very transparent and thoughtful about what they put on their products. The only downside is that they're a littleee bit on the pricey side but i think it's definitely worth the money
Well, it would be amazing if Krave create Vitamin A, B, and C serums. You can take all of my money. More power Liah 🥰
Yes, please!
Oo wow didnt know antioxidant is as unstable as vitamin c, definitely will keep my antioxidant products out of the sun light, thanks liah for the info 😊
Store in dry and cool place if possible :)
I am liking the Inkey List vitamin C. It is Since it is my first vit C ever. It is sort of dry cream texture. I mix it with a drop of hada labo hyaluronic acid toner since the box said I can mix it with HA if I face irritation. I never used it alone since the beginning. Both together I am really loving since a month. I have sensitive skin but it does not irritate.
I'm 26 in next 2 weeks and I want to give myself prizes which is anti aging 😂 thank you for the video liah 💕love from Indonesia
Could you please make some videos about your recommendations like ”Best Moisturizers, Best SPF“ etc.? Your videos are the best and you’re one of the few TH-camrs I trust!❤️
Thank you for trusting me!
Congratulations on 1 million liah❤️❤️
Thanks love!
Congrats on 1 million dear.....can you please tell how to get rid of stubborn chin whiteheads...I have tried everything but nothing worked please help 🙏❤️
Hi...love your videos!!! I use Timeless vitamin c 20% + ferulic acid..it comes in a pump to avoid exposure and i refrigerate it so it lasts me till its gone ..about 5 /6 months...l love it!
Thank you for putting our great content; I just turned 30 and have noticed my skin needs some extra love these days!
My first would be The Ordinary Granactive Retinoid 2% Emulsion , finished the Granactive Retinoid 5% in Squalane, and now I'm onto Retinol 0.2% in Squalane. So far so good ❤️👌
Also congratulations on 1 Million subscribers Liah! 👏👏👏👏👏
Wow gotta try the retinol 0.2%! Thanks Aaron
Congrats on 1 million!! You deserve it ❤
I appreciate your content so much Liah! Thank you for taking the time to create it for us :)
Thanks for your time!
i also tryna find a good vitamin c serum. but right now, im using melano cc. so far it fades my dark spots but not entirely. i only use for a month now, seeing that results impressed me :)
I received a small sample of the cold brew serum and couldn’t find any real reviews on it so thank you!!
my very first anti-aging product is paula's choice resist, im currently using the ordinary buffet in the am and the ordinary retinol 0.2%
I love learning about antiaging. I’m also in my 30’s. You look great! I do love retin a though.
I have sensitive skin, and I’ve been using the vitamin C serum from Amara Beauty for quite a while now and I’ve never had any sensitivity from it!
From my experience I can say that mild formulas (like granactive retinoid 2% in squalane, I have used 2/3 of the bottle) does not make a big difference for someone with already visible, though still subtle, signs of aging (like a mimic fine line on the forehead). It's kinda too late haha So I jumped straight into the solid antiaging routine and here I can see the results ^__^
Wowww Liahhh congrats on 1Million. You deserve it ❤️
Liah! By far my favorite vitamin C serum is Maeloves the glowmaker- it’s a vitamin C/E/ ferulic acid serum and it’s cheaper than SkinCeuticals and Paulas Choice.
Yes!! I swear I have the Maelove glowmaker and I misplaced it somewhere..
thank you so much. you never failed me
Omg its about damn time primera sponsored liah 😂🥳
Here before 100k and now congrats on 1M subscribers Liah! Happy for you! 💐💕
Thanks for sticking around!!
Timeless Vit C serum !! Love it ❤️
I just started using tretinoin a few months ago and I'd like to use it more often, but I can't bc my skin gets too sensitive that way so thank you for this video! I might try alternating a retinol product with tretinoin instead on non tret days 😊
Would also love to see a part 2 of you trying overhyped skincare if you can!!
Thanks for sharing!! and that's a great idea :)
I really needed this video. Thank you! Starting out on Cerave retinol for the first time next week. Nervous but excited!!
Oh!! Lmk how it goes 🤩
I'm soo happy with your video update. TYSM Liah.. you know what i need now, me turns 25 and i see bad changes to my skin😭
Biology is an interesting thing! haha :)
Hi Liah, I’m just wondering can foods such as blueberries, watermelon and broccoli protect you from the sun. I’ve watched a lot of videos surrounding this topic. Do you need sunscreen everyday? Or can you just eat a lot of antioxidants in your diet to protect from UVA and B rays. I’m afraid of using chemical sunscreens because of some chemicals. Some videos say that chemical sunscreens are approved, but some others say that chemical sunscreens are dangerous and go into your bloodstream which I’m very concerned about and hinders me from using sunscreen everyday. My mum says that she is scared that using too much chemicals everyday can do more damage to my skin? Please help.
And congrats on reaching 1M Subscribers!!!
Happy late birthday liah !!💖💖 love you so much so glad I found you 🙏 you've changed my skin SO much cant wait for my oat so simple to be here!!😍
I’m entering my 30s as well, but my pores have been visible from space for yearsss now 😭 I’ve been wanting to try differin, but I’m scared 😂 So I’m using the inkey list retinol rn and it’s really gentle. I want to try their Q10 serum!
Congrats on 1 million #palmpalmfam Liah! 💚
Finally million subscribers... many congratulations 😘😘
Liah onni I always appreciate your hard work! Ever since I saw your video regarding natural oils, I've been using Tamanu oil for my skin and it's working on my skin! looking forward to more informative and inspiring videos!
I’m enjoying the Summer Friday’s CC me serum. It’s marketed as a vitamin C serum but is really a niacinamide serum with two vitamin c derivatives. It has such a smooth texture and glowy finish.
Hyperskin (Black woman owned business) has a pure Vitamin C with kojic acid serum that sounds promising. I ordered it and is awaiting its arrival.
Thanks for the recommendation 😍
im turning 23 this year and i dont have any wrinkle but for around 5 years ive been having sun spots on my upper cheeks area (results from not knowing the importance of suncreen-- and living in tropical, poluted country). should i start using anti aging products?
I heard Stratia c+c is pretty good. There’s actually a clinical study done on a formula just like that one that had amazing results on photodamage. It contains a blend of ascorbic acid, oil-soluble derivative, and vitamin E in an anhydrous formula
Oh amazing! def intrigued 🥰
Yessss I've tried this one! Sadly I still didn't like the way it felt on the skin lol but that might be because my skin is quite dry now and I prefer more humectant rich serums. This one feels a little too much like a mattifying primer to me haha. I gave it to my sister and she loves it though!
Congrats on 1M subscribers Liah! ^^
OMG OMG OMG I’ve been waiting. Do more videos Liah❤️
Yes 😍💚
what about the goodal vitamin c? I saw your empties video and I was so excited when you said you don't have bad reaction to it, because I also have sensitive skin. btw, congrats on the 1M Liah!!! so happy for youuuuuu
omg i am actually thinking about this. thank you so much, liah!
You have the most relaxing videos
