      @@bballa211 Because you think that ideas matter, rather than execution. I give away all my ideas.

    I have read the book, watched the videos and read all the emails. I am up to step four, and as an introvert, I find it soo hard to do this!! I've done everything else - my first product is on the boat on it's way over 😬😬

      Great work getting the product ordered! Big step!

    Step 1- Check
    Step 2- check
    Step 3- check
    Step 4- check
    Step 5- check
    Then I got into my head a little in the last few days and I needed to be reminded of step 1.
    As always- thank you Ryan

    Great video Ryan, this really is how it's done! I'm starting on two different persons/products now. One is 40+yr old side sleepers who are suffering from shoulder neck and back pain (me lol). I have a cool solution that isn't available anywhere else. Working on prototypes, now I need to start building my list. I see this as a sleep optimization company which opens up a lot of possibilities from supplements to black out curtains to wearable sleep tracker apps. Exciting!

    This is what I needed. After deciding to let go of my original idea I’m starting over. Finding that person and what they already but that solves a problem they have is a big help. Even looking at what they’re involved in and what is complimentary to that is helpful.

    Hi Ryan
    I did all the steps and recorded the journal as you suggested.
    Uploaded my first video "I did the "12 Months to $1 Million" book" in my channel.
    I have done:
    - Chose my customers
    - Built one product
    - Stacking the deck (TH-cam video + Landing Page)
    But I am far from the launch.
    Thanks for writing the book and uploading videos. I hope this will work.

    This is excellent! Im having some difficulty here though. I’m the person and my products are diet/food related. The problem is I have product ideas for keto, and also for carnivore. If I try to do both, they would likely not be niche enough of a group of people.

    • @naomitaylor8744
      @naomitaylor8744 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I am just trying Carnivore, and in my reading lots pf people start with Keto and move to Carnivore. I've tried keto before. Also, when I look up carnivore recipes a lot of keto recipes come up that can be adapted. I guess what I'm saying is I think they may be the same people.

    To add, when picking your person, go beyond demographics and dive into psychographics to truly understand their pain points and aspirations.

    Hi Ryan, just wondering what your thoughts are, on whether there is any risk that if I tell the world early about my upcoming product (Step 4), then the product idea would be out there and somebody else might beat me to it to produce a similar product?

    Can you do this if you're an FBA seller? What site would you drive the traffic to, for pre-orders?

    • @RyanDanielMoran
      @RyanDanielMoran  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yes, I specifically think of this for FBA sellers. Amazon is limited in their pre-order capabilities, but you can pre-launch products on Shopify or Kickstarter. Combining the two strategies is powerful.

    I've emailed my "waitlist" page to 2,000 people (all past customers), posted in my group of 1,600 members, and posted on a Page with 38K followers (getting 1.1K views). Also DM'ed probably 30-40 people that worked closely with me in the past.
    Got about 70 clicks to the page, and 6 opt-ins for the "waitlist". Another dozen or so people replied in the DMs saying "this is a cool idea".
    I would say this engagement feels better than the previous "soft-launches" i've attempted in the last couple of years, but still, this doesn't feel like the "prospects are trying to snatch the product out of my hands" which is one definition of PMF that i've heard, or the phenomenal launches to "tiny lists of 200 people" that Ryan mentioned in his podcasts
    What do you think, too little data, or does this smell of a flop?

    • @RyanDanielMoran
      @RyanDanielMoran  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      This analysis is going to sound weird, but hear me out...
      You're doing too much with too little personal touch.
      If you are emailing, posting, and interacting with that many people, but getting that little engagement, it means something is off. In *most* cases, that means that your messages are too vague - like you are copy and pasting the same thing to everyone - and you're missing the magic of communicating to the target person.
      My invitation to you would be to reach out to 50 of your best past customers and interact with them personally... then use that feedback to email the entire list.
      Connection is the best conversion.

    • @h-hourmarketinginc
      @h-hourmarketinginc 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@RyanDanielMoran so from the 30-40 people I messaged individually, about a dozen replied “very cool idea” and 5 of them opted in to the waitlist.
      For the social posts, I’ve recreated some viral videos from Reddit (where I actually got the idea from), so it shouldn’t have be too vague, because everyone whom I personally showed the videos to, “got it” right away
