Outcast - A New Beginning is easily 1 of my the most expected game in today 2024 and it's coming surprisilly soon in next week march 15 just in a perfect time in my work's payday. I will buy and play Outcast on my PlayStation 5. I love scifi third person open world action-adventure games like Starfield. Game's graphics looks surprisilly powerful and beautiful. Very budget title at best. Maybe best to wait for a sale so you won't be disappointed.

I had a blast playing the demo
I'm curious of what you think about it. I think environments look nice and combat is decently fun but other than that, there are many annoying and disappointing things in it.
Same. I especially loved how fun the gunplay was.
@@robertlawrence9000 What did you find disappointing? My main gripes were that movement could be better and more agile, and that gliding is dependent on wind and altitude rather than completely free gliding like in Just Cause.
@@jovialnobody Environments look nice! Character face animations pretty bad. Jet pack control needs some work. Combat is fairly fun! Many puzzles are boring and annoying. The "Get from point A to point B" mini games are not fun and frustrating. The world characters are so drab and 1 dimensional. I really wanted to like this game, but unfortunately it falls short for me. At least it's not a top dollar game, but I would still wait for a steep discount before purchasing.

Demo is very funny. This is the real "avatar" game. Flying over the water like superman. The dodge mechanic using the jetpack is great! I have played on hard mode.
Graphics look amazing... played the original back in the day and glad to see a remake, but I wish they did the alien skies as per the original, it added greatly to the immersion. Couldn't understand one word the narrator said.

Na sprzęcie PC na którym CyberPunk 2077 chodził płynnie na Ultra w stałych 90 FPS
Outcast zawiesza mi się cały czas na średnich ustawieniach....
Panowie do premiery zostało kilka dni a na NAPRAWĘ optymalizacji nie wiem czy wystarczyło by kilka miesięcy...

I dislike free-flying, fast movement, fast travel, and maps in open world games. It makes the environments ignorable. It is made worse with lush, beautiful environments.
I would rather a small space that is you are forced to become intimately familiar with: where parts of the environment have their own personalities, and discoveries are genuine.

Have you played the demo yet? I love games like this too but this one fell short for me.
I truely hate the Hit point display! It is such an immersion breaker. The Game always telling me: I am a Game, a cheap shooting booth and therefore I display the damage points. Is it possible to diable this stupid immernsion breaker? I Love Outcast 1 and would play this without this dealbreaker to me.

I'm old enough to have played the original game and I was really looking forward to this remake. But the demo on Playstation was one of the worst third person experiences I have ever had! The controls and movement in this game are so strange and bad it makes it almost unplayable for me.
To me combat seemed fun enough but they missed the mark on the jetpack gameplay. Other things about it are a put off too. I really wanted to like this game but it has issues.
You have to get used to them a bit but for me it worked pretty well after a while. Of course, the demo time limit is a bit unfortunate in that regard.

I hate be this guy, I really do, but why is the default character always the gruff brown haired white savior? I don’t even care about the skin tone, just the hairstyle, the the character always looks like someone else’s man looks like older Peter from insomniac and Trevor from gta 5 at the same time
