Thanks for the very cool video on the ME-90. I bought one in July 2023 when they came out, and I'm still working on dialing in sounds that I like. I have been playing guitar for 42 years, and your awesome rhythms you are playing on here are really inspiring my creativity in creating new rhythms. Again, thanks for this video and the detail of the sounds of the ME-90 that you have provided to us TH-camrs!!!
I appreciate that so much! That’s awesome you’ve been playing for that long! I just celebrated 32 years of playing, and I still feel like I’m always learning. I’m glad you enjoyed the video! Have fun jamming with your ME-90! 👊🏻😎🍻
I’ve been playin on a Marshall solid state for over 15 years now and just got an ME-90 recently. This video has really helped me understand the differences between the preamps and how to use them. Thank you!
Great job on this review that's a lot of work! All your tones sound great. I've had the ME 90 for over a year and it eliminates the need for pretty much ALL my pedals. Although i probably wont sell any lol 😅
Oh wow! I really appreciate that, man! Thank you so much! That’s cool you have an ME-90 also. I agree that it removes the need for all the pedals I don’t want to sell either. 🤘🏻🤣 Thanks again, and never stop jamming! 🍻
This is by far the best demo of the amp models on this unit, GREAT job my friend, I would buy this based on this video! I also subbed to your channel and will support, you ROCK BROTHER!!! Rock On & God Bless.
This demo really helped me dial in some good tones on my ME90 and to understand the various preamps better. And you demoed licks that were appropriate for each one. this helps me. thank you so much.
I totally agree! I’m surprised they didn’t include it stock. You can add it in the Boss Tone Studio though via USB. Thank you so very much for watching! I really appreciate it! Have a great weekend! 🍻
First like, first comment. Yeet! Keep em coming dude! As far as the bitey humbucker, maybe try a different value pot? I don't remember if it has a dedicated tone pot.
Congratulations on being first! It does have a dedicated tone pot, but I could definitely look into different ones. Thanks so much for watching and for the support! I appreciate it! 🍻
Bravo continu.
I’m sorry you don’t understand anything I’m saying! I’ll have to see how to include French subtitles. Thank you so much for the kind words though! I appreciate it! Merci beaucoup!
Hi! Thanks for the video! Haven’t you tried to use an external preamp pedal in line out mode? Is it actually possible? I just really want to use my external preamp pedal through send&return, using cabs’ IRs that I have loaded via IR loader. But here’s a strange thing: it’s possible to turn the preamp section on the unit off but IRs for cabs are off as well. Even the ones that aren’t connected to every preamp. What do you think? Is it possible to use an external preamp pedal and one of third party IRs loaded into the unit? I’m completely confused…
I can totally understand your frustration. I may be wrong, but I’m pretty sure you can only use the IR/Cab Sim when the Preamp section is on. A work around could be to use the Natural Preamp with a flat EQ. That should provide a blank canvas for you to use your external preamp pedal. What kind of preamp are you using?
@@OneRayMusic Thank you for the answer! I’ve been using a Preamp pedal AMT P2 (which can be used as a distortion pedal, too as it has a special output for these needs), so Something tells me that you’re right and using the pedal with the natural preamp of the unit is the only option…
You’re welcome. Yeah, I do think the Natural Pre-Amp will give you the most flat response and a decent, blank canvass. Thanks again, and never stop jamming! 🍻
🤣 That’s fair! Despite how many effects the ME-90 has, it doesn’t have everything. If someone has some favorite pedals they’d like to use, the preamps are a good platform. It also has a great effects loop. Thanks for watching!
The me 90 will do just about anything and do it well through an amp with 4cm, or into a speaker or pa. I’ve had line 6 stuff and others. Never liked using an iPad to adjust on the fly, you spend more time tweaking than playing . Just dial knobs and go. Daws and ir’s are lame. Play through an amp in the room.
I totally agree. I really like the simple interface of the ME-90 just having old school knobs. I’m not one to go deep into software and drop menus either. The built-in IRs are great, but you right that nothing beats air moving through a speaker in the room. Thanks so much for watching, and I hope you have a nice holiday season! 🍻

What a great demo video for the ME-90, thank you. And I’m really impressed with your original musical ideas!
Oh wow! This is the comment of the week right here! That’s so cool! Thank you for the kind words and for watching! I really appreciate it! 🍻
Great demo and playing Ray. Dirty Vox sounds really good ⚡️🎸🍕
I appreciate that so much! Thank you! Yeah, Boss did a pretty good job with the Vox model! 🍻
Nice. Thanks for the in depth review and adding chapters. Accurate and detailed review… presented with good attitude too!
Wow! That means everything! I appreciate the kind words! Thanks so much for watching, and never stop jamming! 🍻

the audio was so good...i"m from Indonesia and realy enjoyed your channel..thumbs up
Thank you so very much! I appreciate it! Hello from the USA! 🍻
Excellent video!!! I think there should be a “JC (Jazz Chorus Amp)” already defined. Thanks!
I totally agree! I’m surprised they didn’t include it stock. You can add it in the Boss Tone Studio though via USB. Thank you so very much for watching! I really appreciate it! Have a great weekend! 🍻
They do have one built in, but it's only accessible in Tone Studio. I use it for some of my patches, it's useful to have.
@@photoniccannon2117 That's awesome! I'll have to mess around with it when I get the usb I need to access the Tone Studio!
Oh yeah, I like your tunes as well.
I appreciate that so much! Thank you!
It actually has a few extras too that are accessible with Tone Studio. Supreme, JC-120, Boutique, Transparent, and Fender Deluxe.
Definitely! I plan to demo those too once I get the correct usb to connect to the Tone Studio. Thanks so much for watching! I really appreciate it! 🍻
Brazil. Thanks!!!
Obrigado! I appreciate it so much! 🍻
Nice guitar strap. I like it 🤘
Thank you! I’ve had it a long time. 🍻
Thanks for the video. I just sold my ME-80 and I was wondering how these new preamps sounded.
You’re welcome. This was a fun one to make. There are definitely enough of them to find the sounds you’re looking for. Thanks for watching! 🍻

The tweed combo dirty is a fantastic sound.
Thank you so much! I really appreciate it!
I agree! 🤘🏻

Haha! I didn't forget. Thanks so much for watching though, and party on to you as well, my friend!

He said a good platform for pedals???? The reason we have the ME90 is to NOT have a bunch of pedals, lol
🤣 That’s fair! Despite how many effects the ME-90 has, it doesn’t have everything. If someone has some favorite pedals they’d like to use, the preamps are a good platform. It also has a great effects loop. Thanks for watching!
Man, if you need more, then you should be playing Stadiums!! Lol
Maybe. One could argue the old “need” vs. “want.” 🤣 You really only need a guitar and an amp. Everything past that could be deemed just a want.

too much blabla ... very boring
I’ve always had a gift (or curse) of gab. That’s why I added chapters to be able to skip parts. Thanks for watching though. I do appreciate it!
Your can faat forward lol
