Great info mate, I have the same set up but in a L X470. Had it installed by the same guy you did after seeing your review. I wanted a flat sleeping platform and it has worked out well, but I might have to do what you have done with the fans. In Melbourne at the moment and the weather is cool and the fridge is working well but might be different next summer.
Oh good to hear! Yes knowing Melbourne weather.. you should be fine! Haha. The fridge is fine 99.9% of the time, it’s just the super crazy hot days that it suffers. Can’t hurt to help it though! Thanks again for watching!

Good idea,maybe should make 3rd hole larger to let the hot air out. Your fans may be trying to pressurize the space. cool air in hot air out. Food for thought.
Good thinking. I did t quite show the lower three existing holes that are in the drawers just under where we put the fans.. your right though, the air does need some where to escape.
Hi There, do you have an update to this video? im struggling to keep my dometic fridge cool too in about 35C / 95F Ambient Temp. was considering a fan solution like this but wondering if itll really work.
Fan must onle push in and one push out If you push the air in with the 2 fans you will squeeze the heat in the box Try it and you will see the best results
