Steve on Australian 4x4 adventures does a great set of draws utilising the evakool drawer fridge You don’t have the issue of anything being in the way when you open the fridge
As you have with a modular style fridge box, you need to build the false floor the same. This way, you can eave the fridge in place and also still have the single rear seat. Six seater with drawers. Nice!
Mate i didnt see your feedback on the ozy made redback exhaust , just wondering if you actually did one for the redbck as i would like your feedback on it
@@DASHOffRoad well you need to , in my opinion the catback is the best sounding and best performance system over the others , and we all should be promoting how good our OZ Made products are , I am surprised you didn't include it with the others , hopefully you will re-visit the exhausts again and include the Redback
@@DASHOffRoad There is only two systems OZ made , the rest are manufactured overseas and put together here , anyways your well respected with what you do and i am a Y62 lover and enjoy your content , keep up the good work
I can see that a lot of thought has gone into your drawers. But I see one problem that would give me the shits. When you have the bench top pulled all the way out and it is loaded with say a cook top and associated stuff with prepping a meal, then you realise you need something at the back of the fridge ? Then that means you will have to clear the bench top to pull the fridge out. Am I correct ? Please correct me if I am wrong.
I was thinking likewise, it's the draw back of this fridge type. Reminds me off Toyota tailgate covered in food preparation and then you need to access fridge, duh. Like you, would drive crazy, I'd redesign concept to utilising a chest fridge, the bench slide mounts to the fridge base, hence should you want fridge, as you slide it out bench comes out also, hence everything stays in place. That's how mine works, it's excellent. Inverter mounted on fridge slide in space behind fridge, so my 240v also accessible to bench when slide out. Water line to bench also, so tap at sink always has pressurised water. Cutlery draw under bench also. My induction cooker, sink, bench space all stay in place and slide out additional length of fridge as fridge slides out. We're utilising Evakool 47 litre chest combined freezer/fridge, so I have slightly less than 40lt fridge but freezer contains all meat, ice etc, so really no worse off. Yes, it's higher to access, but we aren't tall and very accessible in our Y61 for us both.
Whilst I comprehend what you're saying, you are very limited with usable bench space as opposed to exposed bench space. Can still see clients becoming very annoyed by placing items out, then realising they can't use that area plus access fridge. Not being negative, just pointing out an obvious annoyance, but that's mine & old mates opinion only thus far.
Congratulations Mum and dad very proud of you keep up the good work
Thanks Mum & Dad, I must have come from good stock 👌😍
Nicely done mate, might have to change my fridge over.

That’s what we have done. This was always in the plan 👌
Looks like a great system. Will DASH be at the Melbourne 4wd show in august?
Probably not mate, I don’t tend to go to the Melbourne one, it’s a different circuit
Brilliant stuff
What does the unit weigh? Looks awesome!
That’s a good question. it’s not too bad as it’s all aluminium with the exception of the stainless table. I’ll have to get back to you
I likey likey this one mate!
Awesome setup 👍
How far away is this from being available to buy mate ?
Ready to go bro
@DASHOffRoad I'll give you guys a call next week and get it happening 👌

@@granthenderson687 I think all exhausts are Australian made these days. We have an account with the supplier of Redback so maybe I’ll take a look

Yep, you are incorrect, the bench is twice as long as the fridge drawer.

Does a 500ml can stand up in the drawer fridge?
Send me one and I’ll let you know 🤔 🍺. I reckon it will 👌
@@DASHOffRoad lol would be a viable set up if it does. Looks like I need to do some research
