He is right about the accuracy part of two-handed bowling being more difficult. I have to deal more with angles than I did previously playing one-handed.

I started bowling with my thumb out of the ball in 1995 so I could create more hook and open a lane up. The key was being able to bowl with my thumb in or my thumb out depending on the lane conditions. The biggest breakthrough I made was after watching Walter Ray on a telecast and seeing that he was watching exactly which board he laid the ball down on when most taught to focus on the arrows. Once you laid the ball on the proper board, it had to follow the oil line right into the pocket.
Anyone reading this, and has Netflix, watch Season 3 Episode 7 of the show "Documentary Now!", the episode is called "Any Given Saturday Afternoon". It's a spoof of the bowling documentary, called A League Of Ordinary Gentleman. Michael C. Hall's character is based on Walter Ray Williams Jr. It's hilarious and kinda brilliantly done.

He speaks truth. All these people who day its "cheating" or "Should be illegal" are probably just jealous of the fact that 2 handers have an advantage in speed, revs, and pin action that they aren't getting bowling 1 handed in most case. Although, the kicker is that nothing is stopping them from learning it unless they are PHYSICALLY unable to do it. That is what we are really talking about here. I can't tell you how many out of shape house bowlers cry about 2 handers, but when I say "nothing's stopping you from doing it you know", they always give me some form of "i can't do that shit" or "if i tried it, i'd fall on my face". So its all about them trying to denounce something that offers an advantage that they can't take advantage of. Period. They feel if EVERYONE can't do it, knowone should be allowed to do it. What a narrow minded concept.

You need fake bowling balls with built in hook.......I wanna see it done with the old rubber ball of the 1950s and 1960s and be as accurate as Steve Nagy and Dick Webber and Ray Bluth.
So according to your logic if we were talking about golf you'd be wanting to use Tennessee persimmon heads or maybe go back a little further and use wooden shafts ? As far as bowling is concerned the new oils the new lane conditions and of course reactive resin are all advances in the game you still have to make the shots
@@markbishop9743 oil schmoil......it was all because the old lanes burned down due to the lacquer finish and the oil they used....It is all synthetic or basically Formica. The balls are made to hook from 1 to 10....it's fake. The power is from the ball not the player. The angle of entry is all done by the choice of ball....it never was like that long ago. $4.00 a game....really? Used to be 4 ganes for $!.00 It was skill. Same goes for the small wood racket and touch in tennis and being quick. Now it is the power generated by the racket.......BORING. Athleticism is a thing of the past.....Nastase, Connors, Everett, Lendl, King, Laver, Borg......now other than the Williams sister,tennis is BORING Golf is a joke and still racist......just look at that big fat orange thing that calls itself a leader.
