We got these Pathfinders too in Australia. A bloke my dad knew from work back in the day sold his near new E36 BMW M3 for a Pathfinder, and bought a house with the leftover cash (150k car in Australia when new) Probably a smart idea. Pathfinders are a heap of crap, but who knew they'd be okay at a burnout huh?!

You should fine something with a gm 3.4 v6 I've seen them with a lot of heating issues be interesting to see how one would fair compared to all these foreign engines and stuntman's foot
We did one in a Chevy Venture I believe maybe a couple of months back powerful engine but yes it overheated on us they are known for head gaskets the 3400 motor

Does this have the 4 L V6 that Nissan has ran forever? I bought one and absolutely love it. Not that I would ever treat my pretty little truck that way but I am curious.
Nah this is either the 3.0 or 3.3, kind of a boat anchor. The 4.0 is waaaaay better.
The 4.0’s had issues with timing chain tensioners and contaminated transmissions. But they’ve been out for 15 years and are pretty reliable now. I have an 2008 Pathfinder with 4.0 with 168k. So far so good. The 3.0 and 3.3’s were also pretty reliable engines, however underpowered for sure.
