Hokkaido Milk Tea with coconut jelly, boba with a cream cheese topping is my fav 👌🏾🧋
awesome video! oxidised and fermented are used interchangeable in tea discourse due to the translation but gets a bit different when it comes to processing. black and oolong use oxidation in processing, black being fully oxidised and oolong being some spectrum of semi-oxidation, while actual fermentation is used in the processing of puer/puerh-pu-er.
My favorite milktea has KitKat on top.
Nicely done video. You even got drone shots of the city!
Bubble tea used to be dismal here in Toronto when I was a child (flavoured powder), but once Cha Time came onto the scene and brought quality to an otherwise lackluster BBT industry, it's only proliferated and grew with a bunch of new international and homegrown chains. Now you can't turn a corner without accidentally stepping into 5 different BBT stores
Really nicely done and I learned a lot. I lived there a year and had 3 a day sometimes. Lol
Whoa! That’s a lot of sugar per day!
Such a fun video!!! That animation is SO CUTE I want to frame it. MORE OF DRIAAN TEACHING ME THINGS PLEASE

Hallo 👀😁
Two things I don’t understand about bobba:
1) what’s with all the plastic wrappings?!
2) those things are so high in sugar I get fat looking at them!
Well I can't speak to the rest of the world, but in Taiwan....
1) The government is actually cracking down on plastic - which is why most shops are moving towards paper cups (which was bad for me getting video footage of the inside of the drinks, lol) so hopefully that moves into the rest of the packaging
2) In Taiwan you can select your temperature and sugar level for all your drinks, even coffee. Shops don't have sweet or ice coffees or teas on their menus, they ask you the temperature/ice level and you can have little to no sugar in most drinks if you prefer!
