Great video (as expected), especially your honest person experience. Noone wants bulky clocks, so battery is limited, but after 2-3 year I'd have expected a more efficient SoC and display, to get at least 2 days battery of the small model

Im glad I decided to wait for this watch, I love the look of the mystic bronze so much. As for the battery being smaller I didnt see it as a problem l as I dont track my sleep. Plus I chose to preorder my watch which here in Australia you can get a $100 gift card or free watch band and charging doc (depending where you order) and it made the price sting a little less for me.

I jumped to the Watch3 from a Gear S3. The new watch is much lighter and feels thinner. My only complaint, and it's a doozy, is I can NOT get Spotify to play offline. As dodgy as Spotify was on my S3, at least it worked. On my new Watch 3, unless I'm connected via bluetooth or wifi, it refuses to play.
I thought about getting the Active 2 with the current sale, but I don't get to wear a watch anymore with WFH until January at least. BTW, what's the point of sleep tracking when you have to charge it every night?
Can you do another review on this watch about hidden features how you can take a screen shot take pictures and videos if you alrdy haven't? This watch has do many hidden features and I am excited to learn how to use my watch i just got for Christmas. However some videos other people do they go through the features so fast, Iike how you explain things. I think it would be a great video for you to do to help people who have this watch. If you do have a video alrdy with tje hidden features could you please let me know. I still do not know how go do screen shots on this watch. Looking forward to hearing from you 😀
I agree that there isn't the 3rd party app selection you have with apple or even Wear OS (which I find abysmal in performance with every version I have ever owned) however...on the bright side, I can't think of too many apps I truly would prefer to use on a watch anyway. The real estate is so small, it seems like a waste to go to the trouble of using it for much beyond what is already available. I realize I may change my mind one day, but at least for now, that day hasn't arrived. As usual, a great, unbiased and informative review. Glad I subscribed.

I don´t get it, is this really an update? -smaller battery than GW, and mostly the same internals as GWA2? I was hoping for double that battery because when on LTE the battery is dwindling VERY rapidly.
Good review, Thao. Hopefully Samsung watches this and takes the suggestions for improvement seriously, because they're all on point. I really like my GW3 45mm. The battery situation really doesn't bother me much. I can make it through a full day and night, then charge for about an hour in the morning before work and it's usually fully charged again. Not a big deal for me. 👍✌️

Would you say there are any differences in the smart capabilities from the active2 ? I'm having a hard time justifying the extra price for the watch3 - especially since only the LTE version is available in the nordic countries.
If you have the active 2, there’s really not a big reason to get the 3 besides for the looks. I’m sure a lot of the software stuff will get updated on the 2

I couldn't pair my Galaxy Watch to the New Note20 all watches were listed but the Galaxy watch when I scanned for it. It was found but never completed the pairing. I connected thru Bluetooth but that's it can you try & do a video please.

I leave my brightness Max, leave heart rate to measure every 10 minutes, do one 2 hour workout per day, and easily get 2 days of battery with around 15% left at the end of the 2nd day. I’m counting “2 days” as 2 day periods and their corresponding nights, with sleep tracking. I am using 45mm LTE model. I feel like the performance is much snappier than my galaxy active 2, despite the shared processor. Still hate Bixby. Love the watch, though.
I love the new look but overall I think Im sticking to the original. The battery size is a big factor for me :( But using the watch and Samsung Health has helped a lot. Ive lost over 30 pounds in 3 months. The calorie tracker is great. It just sucks that Samsung decided to remove it from the app.
Brought the active 2 in pink on Thursday and love it so much the GW LTE is now in the drawer .The GWA2 so much nicer on my skinny wrist and it's not bulky like the GW I did check out the GW3 in store but it's 2 big for me thanks for your help in me deciding what watch to buy 👍

Active 2 is in such a good deal now. I still end up with a Watch 3 because of its design. This is my first Galaxy Watch. I switched from a Google OS watch. Since I am using a Samsung phone, this Watch is so much better. I save on battery life on both of my phone and my watch without Google wearable app, Google fitness plus my old watch app running in the background.
I think the Galaxy Watch Active 2 is the best value. Get the original Galaxy Watch if you really want the physical bezel, don't care for the new health and activity features and wanna save some money.
have the first galaxy watch and the active 2 which i used in water swimming activities in my house pool and both of them have hold the claim of being ip68. this galaxy 3 did not hold even just one swimming time after just 3 weeks of ownership. send it to Samsung care and they won't honor the warranty and want me to pay 220 for the repair. if you're planning to use it on water like swimming i would not recommend to buy it. update: received the watch from the repair center and the back cover of the watch was broken, 3 of the 4 holes that keep it on please where broken. and was hanging by the cable from the sensor attached to the main board on the case.

Depends on what’s important to you. The health and activity stuff is a big step up from the original.
