8:54 actually you can use the bands from previous versions depending on the sizes. For example, the Galaxy Watch Active 2 44mm uses 22mm bands, same bamd size as the Galaxy Watch 3 45mm.
Hey Shane, the question here: Can you replace that leather band in Galaxy W3 with Frontier Ss' rubber band? The leather band starts to stink after its first contact with liquids (sweat, swimming etc). If it's not replaceable with previous versions rubber bands, I'd just go with Galaxy Watch 2018 version.

Etc. are available on the watch because I heard some were not yet approved. Also because U r a leftie I think U can swap around the watch face so that the buttons r protruding outwards instead of inwards. It's an option on the apple watch, check if there is something similar on the galaxy watch. Though actually some people like buttons inwards so they can reach them with their thumbs instead of their index. I don't think I will buy the watch yet. I am saving up for a tablet for college. Still cannot decide between a Samsung tab s6 or Huawei matepad pro. Which do U think is better?

I didn't fancy the tab s7 with the downgraded display. I'm not ready to pay extra on a device just for a faster and more "natural" feel on top of the worse image quality. What made me choose Samsung over Huawei is the Dex feature and the collaboration that Samsung announced with Microsoft. Also, because many Microsoft apps (like onenote) r optimized to have a more desktop experience on the tablet. I hope he reads ur message this time. :)
I own the tab s6. I run my entire business off of the tablet, calendar events, note taking, video calls, i use the s pen every day, this is an AMAZING tablet. The s7 can only be better, but i highly highly recommend the s6
I think electrocardiogram might still be in the works but i could be wrong. And yes you can change the orientation, im just used to that awkward layout at this point. This watch is definitely not a necessity by any means. I think the $400 would get much more value out of a Tab device for a student. As far as the tab s6 vs. Tab s7 discussion goes, you have to decide what you prefer - AMOLED display and 60 hz? Or lcd panel and 120 hz? If the keyboard case is better on the tab s7 (I don't know yet) then that might lean me towards the tab s7 despite the loss on the display. Also the faster charging on the Tab s7 is huge for me, I personally do not like slow charging tablets since their batteries are big. As far as the matepad goes, I did see your comment and I will definitely consider matepad content in the future but will probably wait for a new model or once this wave of samsung content cools down. There 4-5 new samsung product to review in addition to a tab s6 lite long term review I havent finished yet. The Galaxy Active / Gear S3 Frontier had the watch case painted in black and any bump on the watch would scratch and remove some painting showing the silver color metal. I wonder if the galaxy watch 3 would have the same problem. My Galaxy Watch (1) has a silver case so it does not show any scratch.
I like the fact that you wear your watch in right hand, my father did it to me, although I don't wear watches a lot but whenever always in the right hand
It normally has to do with what hand is your dominant hand, as right handed people normally wear them on the left hand and left handed people usually ware them on the right hand.
Hi. Thanks 4 a great video. I had the galaxy watch. It came out about a year or 2 ago. It was mandatory to update the app on the phone every 2-3 weeks or it could not be used. Is that the same issue with the active 2 and the watch 3. That becomes annoying after a while.
I own a Samsung Galaxy watch 42 MM and I think I might stay with mine. Personally I don't like the fact that they switched the colors, so black only comes in 45mm and silver is 41mm. The buttons do make the watch look almost like an actual watch which is nice, but it seems like its almost geared towards business casual as opposed to outdoors. I love the rubber bands with my Samsung Galaxy watch and you can also swap out the rubber and go with leather. Idk might or might not get the Samsung Galaxy Watch 3.
Yeah i feel you there. I honestly don't love the leather bands, maybe I have to wear them in but they're just stiff and make squeaky noises when you move your wrist which is annoying. I put a watch active 2 band on my 41mm and the gear s3 band on my 45mm and now I like them lol. But to the average consumer that means buying a $400 watch plus a $30 extra for another band. They should have included a fitness band in the box at the $400 price. And they promoted the fitness features at the samsung event, yet you shouldn't be using the leather band to workout. I understand the disconnect and honestly at the end of the day, if you don't need blood pressure readings, ECG blood oxygen and all that stuff, the galaxy watch is still fine. If your watch is wearing out and the battery is on its last leg then yeah the upgrade is worth it but if there's nothing wrong with your current galaxy watch then theres nothing major enough to upgrade unless you want the fancy new features

You said it feels quicker than the galaxy watch 2. In the settings software information, which one u.i verison is it? Because on camera, it looks jittery while scrolling. The active 2 one u.i version is 1.5
Gorgeous Watches, best smart watches on the market, reliability is a 10, built like a tank. Mystic Bronze with the dark pink band is definitely for the ladies. The Black bezel more for the guys. Both are awesome!
Just wished they had a stainless steel bracelet option on these. Not fond of leather straps. Other that that these are great watches. Ready to upgrade my Gear S3 Frontier.
Get the Galaxy Watch instead better battery life pretty much the same features unless you absolutely need the autodetect workout features much cheaper it looks nicer and you can get a new band with the cash you save plus have money in your pocket

How would you rate the comfort vs the original GW sometimes the flat surface of the HR monitor against the skin on the original GW gets irritating but I noticed the new GW3 HR monitor is round like the Apple watch.
Just bought the Watch 3 41mm and very happy with it. I also had the "big boy" once upon a time but now feel the need to scale down. The 41mm is a perfect size for me now. The bronze color is really nice but as is the case with the previous version of this watch, I find the band butt ugly (jmo).. I bought a black sport band to go on it and it actually looks really nice together with the bronze. I also did this because I hate buckle bands and much prefer the band that tucks under. The band was very easy to switch out. As always, the rotating bezel is great and overall experience is awesome

There are some neat health features available on the watch. If I remember Unpacked correctly there's an EKG and some other health sensors, along with a ton of customized workouts built in to S-Health
Like the look and feel of it, but 480€ for the wifi only Version is too much especially because many of the health features are not available in my country
If I have to get a watch only to track my activity etc would you recommend active 2 or watch 3? For other occasions ie formal evenings, dates etc im a bit old fashioned and would go with traditional watches.
does the Mystic Bronze look feminine after wearing? How about if you swap that pinkish band on the Mystic Bronze and replace it with a black or some other color??
So the band, like I said, has a pink-ish hue to it. But the mystic bronze watch itself looks great. Some band adjustments could definitely make for a sweet look

the battery sucks on the Watch 3 as an owner I can confirm (think there is a bug or really hoping) as I cant get 2 days on it with light use were as on my Active 2 i get 3-4 days
I think they should have just went with an upgraded gear s3 frontier. Update the inner guts and make the bezel little more stiff... I just really love my frontier but I feel like it's starting to feel a little dated in the software department.
My last and fave Samsung watch was the gear S3 classic and I was so upset when it stopped turning on like the battery was messed up. I wore it daily and hung it up on charger at night sometimes unplugged tho. Anyways it worked for a couple yrs and now it will only turn on attached to the charger but when u pic it up it cuts off and won't work. I'm really liking these new watches alot and probably gonna get one. I loved that s3 classic so much it's been missed lmbo! I may look into seeing if I can replace the battery but idk if u can even do that or not. I've only ever had samsung watches I still have the 2nd watch they came out with and the fitness watch I got from them as a preorder gift. I sold the 1st watch they ever came out with to get the 2nd one that was really big and curved.

Tab s7 plus actually, since it's 120 hertz display and they can record your teachers voices in the notes! Awesome for college!

the battery sucks on the Watch 3 as an owner I can confirm (think there is a bug or really hoping) as I cant get 2 days on it with light use were as on my Active 2 i get 3-4 days
How does this compare to the Gear s3?
Very sharp. Being in the US, I will wait for the promised Blood Pressure and ECG functions to become functional before upgrading my 46mm Galaxy Watch.

I think they should have just went with an upgraded gear s3 frontier. Update the inner guts and make the bezel little more stiff... I just really love my frontier but I feel like it's starting to feel a little dated in the software department.
Do they have MTS like the Gear S3? I use it all the time.
My last and fave Samsung watch was the gear S3 classic and I was so upset when it stopped turning on like the battery was messed up. I wore it daily and hung it up on charger at night sometimes unplugged tho. Anyways it worked for a couple yrs and now it will only turn on attached to the charger but when u pic it up it cuts off and won't work. I'm really liking these new watches alot and probably gonna get one. I loved that s3 classic so much it's been missed lmbo! I may look into seeing if I can replace the battery but idk if u can even do that or not. I've only ever had samsung watches I still have the 2nd watch they came out with and the fitness watch I got from them as a preorder gift. I sold the 1st watch they ever came out with to get the 2nd one that was really big and curved.
