    Love the new add on. Seriously though go on a camping trip with beer and cook out. And show the cooking 🍳 that's what everyone will click on to see. Dangerous overnight camp and cookout on a solar powered boat 🚢.

      Hahahahaha We love the signature!
      Camping is on the list, but we have to make some adjustments, which are right around the corner!

    Best parts of your video's is the frendship that shines though. Looking to make a pontoon houseboat myself for cruising the St. Johns and ICW down here in Florida.

    I like the boat and videos so far. We are building a 30 ft triple pontoon house boat. Would love to share the process with yall. At least we dont have the freeze and snow to deal with here. I am originally from Coldwater Michigan so I get what yall are dealing with. LOL Ours will be gas powered but with solar system to maintain electrical power. Looking forward to seeing more from yall.

    We have a 60lb 12v trolling motor on the back of our 12ft tinny. When on full throttle it slurps air. I am thinking about 3d printing something like this to stop it sucking air.

      Do it! It will help by giving you a lot more bite!

    Looks fun. How did you determine it helps? You mentioned .. smoother steering? But what about speed or acceleration or fuel economy? Any intuition on those?

    • @MoneyPitBoating
      @MoneyPitBoating  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hey Andy! Thanks for reaching out and watching! There is about a 0.5 knot difference in speed, and acceleration is A LOT better because the propeller can grip more water. It used to do a slurping tornado of doom, but now it is quiet and more responsive. Hope this helps, and if you have any other questions, let us know. We're here to help!

    Hi guys, I also had a cavitation issue with my Totqeedo 2.0 and that was when weeds would wrap around the shaft of the motor at surface water level and the weeds would wick air down to the prop. I will be adding a skeg to push weeds lower to the prop area. For the prop as these seem to be weed magnets, I have used an exacto knife blade attached to the shaft of the motor and it just skims over the props base. This works great. I will do a video of a new version I will be trying come boating season.

      @@MoneyPitBoating I used the exacto blade trick last summer for a 23 day trip on the Trent Severn. It worked great but started to rust so my next version will use a stainless steel razer blade. Check out my channel with building my boats and the trips I took.

      Here is a link to one of my videos. If you go to the 24 minute mark I show what I am doing for a weed guard. This prevents weeds or fishing line from wrapping around the motor shaft.

    Have you checked your speed yet since you put the anti cavitation plate on curious to see if it helps top end

      Thanks for watching Lee…Great question! The answer is we can’t determine that yet…(Our next video will shed more light on the situation!)

    Did ePropulsion make that plate or someone else?

      Wayne! We've watched your channel for awhile and feel honored to have you in our comments! This is the ePropulsion plate because we didn't want to mess around with a different brand's plate not fitting the motor properly. Thanks for watching and we should do a collaboration sometime!
