Here’s a fun challenge- in either the 1066 start date or one of the MB+ start dates around that time, try to build up as powerful a realm as you can before Temujin spawns. Switch to the Khan and try to destroy your previous realm, then when Genghis dies, switch to the weakest member of your original dynasty and try to restore it again.

I feel like the land requirements to form the Roman Empire is just a little *too* out of the way. I think the minimum land requirements should look more like the Eastern Romans at their height under Justinian. No Barcelona or Valois requirement, but maybe more of Italy and North Africa are required in exchange?
bought the game through the microsoft store, really want to play this mod but it doesnt work when I download it through paradox plaza or if i do it manually, downloading and opening zip files and editing .mods, crashes when i try to launch it, i have an ROG zephyrus so idk whats happening
In my first playthrough of CK3 (almost like a month of being released), I played Duke of Angria at 867... To be fair my initial goal was to stablish the HRE... But thing started to get complicated. In short terms, I inherited "peacefully" Lotharingia, made a Lotharingian Empire (because the Lotharingian King had Lotharingia, Burgundy and Aquitaine)... The pope didn't like the heir and was excomunicating almost all my family, so invaded Italy. By 1200 I inherited "peacefully" all of France and its 600 year early colony on Africa (and did the reconquista). By this point my Lotharingian empire looked so similar to Eastern Roman Empire (and incredibly, I never got a PU, claims or family into Germany, my intial goal)... So I viewed that I could restore The Roman Empire... So, somehow, I've got by 1400 a PU over Eastern Rome (aka Bizantine Empire) so inherited for the first time 100% peacefully a title, but fcking revolts like if greeks are trying to destroy themselves in those early days... So, When I restored the Roman Empire it looked so badass because since I had Bizantine title, I inherited its ruler history but interrupting at ~1000 (the year where Lotharingian Empire was formed) with my Lotharingian line of kings... It was gorgeous seeing an uninterrupted line of emperors from Julius Caesar all the way to my Kaiser Ludwig. What a pity paradox patched that by only inheriting the main title history and not Bizantine (if having so) + your own empire. I don't know how I managed an Ironman since it was my first playthrough in any grand strategy game (without cheats as I tend to play in a god mode or something). I think I've got so lucky there or just the AI was very dumb the first days of release.
I know this is irrelevant to the video but I've been playing ck3 on Xbox and was wondering if theres anyway I can take land and give it to people without them charging their culture to the lands culture or without me having to covert it first?
No, as long as they have a different culture to their capital they'll have the option to convert. It might take a while though. Is there any reason you're worried about that? (imo the popular opinion malus is worse than the character opinion malus, though there should really be some different system for characters with hereditary heirarchy)

IIRC the Praetorian Guard killed more Emperors than anything else lol.
I don't think it was a bad decision on Constantine's part to dissolve the Praetorian Guard. They were a bunch of backstabbers.
