You know, I’ve seen you do many many runs where you go from a count to an emperor, but here’s a different kind of challenge: start the game in More Game Rules with all empires formed. Pick any empire and then use debug to give yourself all empire titles, meaning you start as emperor of the world, but they’re all still different faiths and cultures. Then try to see if you can hold it all together.

Don’t give up on your rulers when they are older, I have 70 year old conquerors, who take huge swaths of land.
The Slavs actually weren’t in Germany (east frankia), but only in Polabia (so the stuff that was east Germany (and not even all of it but roughly the area)
Slavs were there. Germans killed them off like they did the Pomeranians and Prussians.

East Francia is modern Western and Southern Germany though. Eastern Germany (Pommerania, Prussia, ...) was still inhabited by Slavs in the 9th century. Charlemagne took the land from the Saxons, not really all that much from the Slavs.
The HRE only really started to settle eastwards and mixed with/displaced/subjugated the slavs later in history.
So this video is less a 'taking back stolen land' and more a reverse history? A bit like Sunset Invasion on a smaller scale? ^^

And the Slavs in East Germany were more recent arrivals, coming in after most East Germanic peoples left to settle Roman territories
And they settled formerly germanic lands that were just mostly genocided by the huns.

You should make a video forming Siberia as Kazym, it's pretty fun
Better way to earn prestige as your third ruler would be going down martial and declaring wars on smaller counties/duchies around you, you get a lot of prestige for won battles, much faster than going down the diplomacy tree.
I live on the island north of where you started. We still have ruins of an old slavic temple to Svantevit in Arkona (where you had the hall of heroes).

Play as el cid in 1066 and try to become king of valentine or for more of a challenge emperor of hispania
I did a game as Navarra and was able to become a Spanish emperor, spreading out to North Africa and into France, but then the save got lost because the game updated. Very sad.

If you're on steam you should be able to play on previous game versions to keep your game saves! as right now im still playing on 1.7.2
I am confusion. If you wanted to quickly get to high levels of fame and prestige just go down Martial trees and raid people, make sure you’re fighting and you should be able to become a legend by your 40s.

Nice video but the Ostsiedlung "eastern settlement" and the eastern expansion of East Francia and later the Holy Roman Empire did not really start until the 9th century. Meaning you don´t reconquer, but simply conquer. ^^
Especially Otto the Greats father, Heinrich did conquer many Slavic areas. Brandenburg for example, there is the modern day German capital located.

I have been watching your videos for a long time now and i just want to say you really need to buy siege mma first. its the most important mma in your army. its better to finish a siege fast thus finishing a war faster than beating AI in battles which are easier.

Retake Germany for the Slavs? They never had it to begin with, except the east. The de jure kingdom borders in Germany were never settled by a slavic group.

Not really, as some speculate that the Wends/Wenden *Lechites/West Slavs* might be autonomous to the regions, the place names in east Germany are Slavic not Germanic. Same with modern day Poland, Gdańsk is way older than the term Danzig. Same with Poznań being older than Posen

"Retake Germany" Lol, Germany was never lost Slavic land wtf are you talking about? Most of it was lost Celtic land. If anything, it was the Slavs that colonised the Germanic people, entirely wiping out the East Germanic culture that existed in Poland.
By the time the Saxons conquered the Polabians is after CK3's start dates.
