The 1993 NBA All-Star Game took place on February 21, 1993, and was an exhibition game played between the Eastern Conference and the Western Conference at the Delta Center in Salt Lake City, Utah, home of the Utah Jazz. This was the 43rd edition National Basketball Association all-star game played during the 1992-1993 season. The Western Conference went on to beat the East 135 to 132 in overtime.[1] The All-Star Weekend then wrapped up with the slam dunk competition, won by Harold Miner from the Miami Heat, and the three-point shootout, won by Mark Price from the Cleveland Cavaliers.[1] The regular season then continued on Tuesday, February 23, 1993.[2]

bro I was blown away with this. so this is how when all best players competed. I feel like with the current all star we are being robbed with this kind of experience I started thinking how will it be with this today's all stars competing like this. I guess the closest is maybe the 2020 or something when they have a target score but that's it.

Phil Jackson won 6 titles with the Bulls, 5 with the Lakers,...and had no real point guard in any of em' (sorry Derek Fisher, ...a good clutch player btw). Because MJ and Kobe dominated the ball even in the triangle. HOWEVER, if the Bulls had Isiah in 1993, Jackson would have adapted, because especially at this point of his career, Isiah was a pass first point, and still one of the best point guards in the game. Jordan would have scored more "easier" buckets too, because Isiah was arguably the best dribbler in the game, and an elite passer - he ALWAYS looked for Jordan in all-star games (and Pippen woulda scored more on cuts/slashing moves as well). But Jordan didn't like Isiah, and Pippen ESPECIALLY didn't like Isiah (and vice versa), so trading for Isiah would have never happened.

More "woulda coulda" stuff: Isaiah retired in 94 after ripping his achilles. However, if he was a Bull at that time, maybe he doesn't get injured, and he would have made the Bulls more competitive in Jordan's absence (when Jordan retired after 93 season)...and maybe, just maybe.... Isaiah and Scottie would be buddies.... hahahaha!

The thing i miss about those days is that even in the Allstar games, those players did not want to lose. They played to win from the opening tip
