      bro I was blown away with this. so this is how when all best players competed. I feel like with the current all star we are being robbed with this kind of experience I started thinking how will it be with this today's all stars competing like this. I guess the closest is maybe the 2020 or something when they have a target score but that's it.

      0:40 lol Stockton had to be the toughest player in NBA history, my man missed only 22 games out of a possible 1558 games, that's literally 1.4% career games that he missed.
      "Load management" didn't exist like today. He was absolutely underrated and the definition of a tank.
      1:25 Stockton could have had his arm ripped off by that play, but nope, he fine.

      Phil Jackson won 6 titles with the Bulls, 5 with the Lakers,...and had no real point guard in any of em' (sorry Derek Fisher, ...a good clutch player btw). Because MJ and Kobe dominated the ball even in the triangle. HOWEVER, if the Bulls had Isiah in 1993, Jackson would have adapted, because especially at this point of his career, Isiah was a pass first point, and still one of the best point guards in the game. Jordan would have scored more "easier" buckets too, because Isiah was arguably the best dribbler in the game, and an elite passer - he ALWAYS looked for Jordan in all-star games (and Pippen woulda scored more on cuts/slashing moves as well). But Jordan didn't like Isiah, and Pippen ESPECIALLY didn't like Isiah (and vice versa), so trading for Isiah would have never happened.

    • @peteinthedesert7082
      @peteinthedesert7082 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      More "woulda coulda" stuff: Isaiah retired in 94 after ripping his achilles. However, if he was a Bull at that time, maybe he doesn't get injured, and he would have made the Bulls more competitive in Jordan's absence (when Jordan retired after 93 season)...and maybe, just maybe.... Isaiah and Scottie would be buddies.... hahahaha!

      It's because they enjoyed these times.
      You watch an ASG now and it seems players are doing favours to be there.

      @@Hinshu85 True…they were true competitors back then. Playing together on All Star was a treat for these guys as they would always want to beat each other. Now All Star mean little because the best players call each other up and say “Hey let’s stop competing and just join together in a super team”.

    this montage just prove that 90s nba is about pride and dedication to the game. today’s nba is about contract the highest bidder of a star player.

    When between NBA Regular season, NBA Finals & NBA All Stars Game has no difference at all. They've been livin it up only for serious game competition. Compares to nowadays NBA. Golden Ages indeed! 👍👍👍💪💪💪

    One of the best played all star games with players on both sides meshing well with one another, playing hard, and even catching fire. Now this is real professional level, all star basketball with high talent density on both sides. Dream team vs dream team.
