I love how the Snake Devil just despawns or noclips into nothingness. Gives that surreal and otherworldly effect.
Snake Devil and Fox Devil definitely play on Creative Mode in the human world.
I really don't like it. It looks choppy from a viewing standpoint. It should have a vanishing effect like Kon did, same goes for the curse devil.
@@martinaguiluz4063that’s the point, it’s unnerving and surreal to look at. Imagine you see a cup on your table, and literally out of nowhere it’s just gone. A devil is not gonna do anything whatsoever that seems appealing to humans if it can help it
@@jackofastora8962 I don't think that was the point, in the next episode, this scene happens again and this time they added a vanishing effect for the snake. It's almost as if what happened in ep 8 was a mistake.
@@martinaguiluz4063i think you’re still missing the point… that second time they showed it was because we’ve already seen it once. and the first time that it was shown (this episode) it was portrayed perfectly in the context of this episode , which is completely unpredictable. i think it disappearing like that just emphasizes that unnerving and unpredictably of this episode and csm as a whole.
There’s the beloved chainsaw man pacing that manga readers know and love. Expect tons more stuff like this to happen.

The amount of psychological suffering that Tatsuki Fujimoto did in the manga, you are not even 0.1% ready for whats instore for you. Just now, I realise when Makima said Denji will experience new things, she means literally

What I love from this episode when the situation goes really bad then what all the reactors have in their minds were Denji, even tho we know Denji is not the type of person who's will do it for heroic or friendship reason but he just a trustworthy person who takes an action of something that he didn't like to happened around him.

lmao it finally happened. i've read the manga a long time ago. when i first heard the news that chainsaw man was getting an anime, Himeno's death was the first thing that came to mind. lmao. That's how good and traumatizing this moment was.
I like the look of despair and defeat they had when the snake bit off Himeno's devil. Lmao it's like a big middle finger to the audience.

@@learnmoregamingbs1231 sadly I don't think so. We have like 4 more ep until the season is over, so we'll probably have to wait for a few more years. Since the manga finished part 1, I don't get why they can't have part 1 as season one and then wait until the manga finishes part 2, then have the 2nd season base on that. If you get what I mean lol
Part 1 would be too long for a single season, even with 25 episodes. So most likely they're gonna divide it in 3 seasons of 12 episodes.

@@deuce5546 It actually is rotoscope animation in some of the scenes, you can see it clearly when Himeno enters the room and extras walking during Makima giving Denji the cola thing, the scene after Makima's death with people pulling the guns is also rotoscope.

these anime only watchers are all too used to the usual battle shonen where the deaths of the characters can be counted on the fingers. chainsaw man is quite another thing, denji is the protagonist and is closely connected to pochita, the world of chainsaw man revolves around pochita, so fujimoto can kill as many characters as he wants, until denji and pochita die and realize his dream, it will be a continuous cycle of reincarnations and death. all the other characters, whether they have a good design, backstory or charisma are very expendable in this work.M. PS let's say that himeno's death affected me too; in the manga a few chapters pass between her becoming denji's buddy and her death, while here it was done in the same episode and it rightly leaves you surprised.
