@@deuce5546 It actually is rotoscope animation in some of the scenes, you can see it clearly when Himeno enters the room and extras walking during Makima giving Denji the cola thing, the scene after Makima's death with people pulling the guns is also rotoscope.

You know when they say "the manga is waaay better"? This is one of the few times where you can say "the anime is better!". (I know they are two different types of media, but the ideia of an anime is to elevate the manga but this is so rare. And they did it with Chainsaw Man.)

these anime only watchers are all too used to the usual battle shonen where the deaths of the characters can be counted on the fingers. chainsaw man is quite another thing, denji is the protagonist and is closely connected to pochita, the world of chainsaw man revolves around pochita, so fujimoto can kill as many characters as he wants, until denji and pochita die and realize his dream, it will be a continuous cycle of reincarnations and death. all the other characters, whether they have a good design, backstory or charisma are very expendable in this work.M. PS let's say that himeno's death affected me too; in the manga a few chapters pass between her becoming denji's buddy and her death, while here it was done in the same episode and it rightly leaves you surprised.
Well everyone fucking died and Himeno's hit the hardest knowing she liked Aki and he just watched her slowly vanish....yeah I think this is where the show really begins and I think the Gun Devil is here since normal citizens aren't supposed to have guns
I gotta say people should read the manga while they can, because it's just my opinion but man the Ghost and Curse looked so much better drawn than animated.
