Can anyone help me understand how to wire up the lights to an upgraded speed controller? They are 5 wire light set up and ESC has 3. I am fine with just the lights staying on continuously.
Whats the bigest sjze of wheels can fit on these ? Can 1/10 wheels fit on it or wtv i love this rc only thing i find is the wheels are just to small for it ahah larger and treadier tires would look awzome on it what yall think?

The shocks can be found on banggood.com, for the factory spring upgrade hack you can actually just use the Springs out of Bic disposable pens. I am currently running Fayee wheels and tires but I have also run aluminum wheels made for wpl C 34 with wpl C 34 tires
I know you updated your transmission. But can you help me with factory trans? The damn drive shafts dont come off.. Are they glued on? They dont have set screws
The older style plastic driveshaft are press fit onto splines. You will have to cut them off (dremel tool or hot knife) and file a flat spot for the grub screw of the metal upgraded shaft.

Maybe split the wires to the tiny fog lights that seem to stay on.
you can solder pin 4 and 5 on the main board together

Some smaller 1/10 can fit with 5mm to 12mm hub adapters

How did you configure the original mn99s lights and turn signals to work with the version 3 wpl board?
The lights have a common + and I used a 3.7v to figure out the wiring harness then put individual leads to each pin on the WPL board😁

Which ESC are you running to enable 3s lipo?
WPL V3 no external ESC
@@JDLightnin Wait, so its just running the WPL V3 soundboard and that supports a 3s!? Did you have to solder on larger wire and/or connectors?
Do u change the esc to 30amp? Or u just plug n play the wpl res v3?
No external esc, just the wpl
