I have never liked David Lean. All three of his movies; Lawrence of Arabia, Ryan's Daughter and Doctor Zhivago gave me headaches but God knows all three of them looked absolutely visually stunning. I felt thirsty during Lawrence of Arabia, warm during Ryan's Daughter and cold during Zhivago and that could not have been possible without Freddie Young's heavenly camerawork. I am grateful to have seen the world through his eyes. Such beauty, such grandiose, only Mr. Young could have done it.
My favorite Cinematographer ever and what a visual genius. Winning three Academy Awards for three consecutive David Lean epic masterpieces. Lawrence Of Arabia Doctor Zhivago Ryans Daughter, which may actually be his most beautiful cinematic achievement...
This man created some of the most unforgettable images in cinema history. David Lean and Freddie Young - absolute masters of their craft. Dr. Zhivago and Lawrence of Arabia I have both on bluray and watch them regularly.
Great workman. Freddie Young was one of the best cinematographers of all time. He's right up there with Roger Deakins, Vittorio Storaro, Gordon Willis, and Robert Richardson.
You did a great job. I love his work and he has inspired me a lot. He was one of the best British Cinematographers. You are doing great by editing such videos and making people aware about them. Keep giving such tributes.

Wishing you captioned the films with their titles. The leans are easy to identify.....but grateful for your compilation.
Thanks. I'll look into adding a subtitle track for the videos.
I added a subtitle track to my latest video (Slawomir Idziak) as a test. Please let me know what you think. I'll work on the others when I can.
