I’m just learning Brick stitch. Thank you for the tutorial. The size and color beads you used made it very easy to understand. I am in love with you squirrel thingy. I love squirrels. Now following your page ❤
You do amazing work with the brick stitch Becky. It’s probably not something I’m likely to do, but never say never. LOL Enjoyed watching the video… Thank you!
We have a tutorial for it here: artbeads.com/design-studio/lilac-pond-peyote-stitch-ring-toho-treasures-crystal-oval/ and make sure to check out our video for making peyote bezels: th-cam.com/video/_T0mXX3gjb0/w-d-xo.html
I would pass the thread through the beads a couple of times to reinforce the shape. That really helps, especially with the first few rows of brick stitch. You could also use a "stiffer" thread, something like FireLine. I find it helps keeps the shape of weaving projects.
Hi! Your tutorial was so helpful and I love all the brick stitch items you made! They’re so cute! Could you please do a tutorial on how to add thread to a brick stitch project? Or do you mind telling me how to do it please? I’d really appreciate your help thank u! ☺️
i have a hard time with my beads lining up where holes are on top? Is this because of the bead im using or the thread. I have tried so many times but i can not get them to line up where tops holes are all there straight. please help
It sounds like maybe you are weaving them wrong? The ladder stitch will help you get your first row lined up correctly: artbeads.com/design-studio/ladder-stitch/
Great question! You can easily finish thread if it is getting too short by weaving it into the body of the piece and you can add thread in the same fashion. This page helps explain: artbeads.com/design-studio/bead-weaving-thread-tips/ I'm also going to do a video on this topic soon, too!
You need to do tutorials against a plain background. When I realized that the busy, cluttered background was being used to film the tutorial, I gave up.
Thank you so much! I hadn’t been able to figure this out until I saw your video!
Best tutorial ever! Fast, easy and clear!

LOVE your ring on your right hand!
Patricia
Your work is beautiful! Could someone please help me find the brick stitch tutorial going through the beads instead of using the thread bridge? Thanks
Thank you. Love your enthusiasm :)
Thank you for helping me to understand the brick stitch

I really need a pattern for that centaurette! She's gorgeous!
Love your ring! Please do a tutorial for it. I have a cabochon I really want to make ring of but never get a perfect size bezel for it. Thank you

Can you please, do a tutorial, on how to make beaded words?
That is a great suggestion!
I am just learning to brick stitch I was wondering how you stitch the straight line on the Sydney item?
How can we get printout of different stitches
If you use fireline by Berkley it won't come off you needle as easy and it doesn't tangle nearly as bad
I can do a double brick stich, no problem but this single brick stitch all my bead get all out of shape it's so delicate. Size 11 beads.
Any tips?
