I really want to do this how hard would you say it is to reseal the lights it just scares me. And I want to upgrade the lights to led as well but cutting wires just seems risky to me. I just don’t want to mess them up and have to buy new headlights.
Haha my car already has leaky lights. I was looking for tips to reseal my headlights and found this stuff! Might make an upgrade while I'm at it, ya' know?
Since you wired them straight to the battery do the halos turn off when the car is off? I just finished building by headlights with the litlightz halos and I'm not sure how to wire them. Thanks.
i have some halos in a datsun straight to the battery and they turn on and off even with the car is off but you control them via Bluetooth, no issues at all with draining battery everything is going okay
Question: will wiring power directly to the battery cause any constant drain, even if it is small, when the car is off? I had my rgb halos wired this way and if i didnt drive my car for more than 3 or so days, the batteries would die. So im eliminating all sources of power drain. One guy told me even when the halos and car are off .they are still drawing a little power. Is this true or is it safe to wire it to the battery and it wont draw anything when the halos are off??
@@Headlights.restorations ok so in that case..my batteries were the issue and it wasnt the draw from the halos. Thanks for clearing that up. I will reconnect them as i got new batteries now.
@@akuma4u You should check how much draw you have without them hooked up and if you have a draw more than 0.1 amps draw when the car "sleeps" you have some issue somewhere and you must start checking things. First one is to look at the radio - common issue for big draw is if someone has spilled some liquid on top of it. After you complete this process check how good the battery is charged - it should be above 14V at idle.
Hey, awesome video. When drilling the hole into the back of the highbeam cap, is there any way for water to get in there? This is the only thing holding me back from upgrading all my lights in my headlights.
I'd imagine you could, but I would choose a third option: Addafuses. Simply splice in a connection to the fusebox relay for auxilery power and the other to ground. Cleaner and safer wiring.
are halo lights used for nighttime headlights? like multi color halo light do you just turn on the white color are those bright enough for night time headlights?
Sorry but I personally would NOT use a huge zip tie like that. I would have used something like fishing wire and glue. Its unoticable. But still great job.
YES BROO YOU UPLOADED WHAT I NEEDED TO KNOW!!!
Bro thank you so much for doing these videos bro MY GENESIS IS GOING TO BE LOOKING GREAT!!

Do they come on when when you start the car up or do you have to turn them on with that remote?
No Zip ties! You should have used fishing line.. cool project over all..
Yea that zip tie would bother the shit out of me, it’s way to noticeable once you’ve noticed it.
What if we don’t want to paint the housing can we just leave it?
Question .I checked the site. And they have genisis and tiburon 04 but will ether of these fit 2007 tiburon headlights.
Does it have a remote control?🙂
I have a 2012 Honda Civic sedan which one would I need ?
May be a dumb question but you think it would fit a 2019 Elantra? Cant find any aftermarket parts for it

pick up a tube of silicone sealer from a hardware store, use that to reseal the headlights

They are draining like 2 miliamps when they are off

Do u have to take out whole light boss
I know you havent done this but if I wanted to add a sequential led strip as well, would it be able to wire to the battery along with the halo?

Did you use the two sided tape or is that not important?
Bro where can I find these now?!
What size are those ?
what mm is the halo light
ive been trying to figure out the same thing
Can these be wired to side lights rather than off the battery

80mm?
where can I get it from?
How do you test the lights to make sure they work?
U turn them on LOL
Can you see the road at night with these on ?
Hell no. They are just for show. They dont project any light at all.
Are these legal in Canada b
Great install, love it!
Lit lightz can these be wired to side rather than off the battery
Will this kill your battery
Thats what im tryin to figure it out. It may cause a parasitic draw on your battery even when they are off they may still draw a little

Should of used clear string 👀 to hold tight that halo without having a big ass zip tip
Nice job and clean

youre so clutch
